Kind of a tripy store never been there before except for one time when I was in a rush but this time I went there and they have some really good deals on some bulk items and in my opinion I really think that they beat Costcos price on a lot of things. Pretty cool store

Great store, great deals. Love the hostess partnership and the first street brand. However the manager with red hair made me uncomfortable, and he/they made some cringey comments about my outfit. Kinda awkward and weird for me. I will be avoiding that worker.

Great place for all your needs..almost..and good prices. And for parties and events ....I think each stone is a bit different in some itrms... but this location had put in more stuff and food and other items. Overall it is good..staff seem friendly and helpful..

I love Smart and Final. The First Street products are very good. Thats their brand sold as well as many name brand stuff. They also have good cookware, beer, booze, good produce, organic products, and great deals if you buy for a business or in bulk. Convenient and plenty of parking.

The people who work there make a nice place to go shopping...prices vary...somethings are more than others n or less than other stores but it comes out about the same...if u are buying bulk ur saving more....but the people are what makes it different n makes u want to shop there....helpful always.

Out of stock on a few items, but not the ones I needed. Stood at the register and was literally ignored for 3 minutes (yes, I timed it), before the cashier even looked my way to acknowledge me. So, not great customer service 🤷‍♀️

I went late Sunday night hoping for a quick in and out . I got all my grocerys and tried to check out. It was insanely chaotic. The checker started screaming at me that I was going the wrong way. Instead of helping me he just got louder and louder. There are no obvious directions to explain the check out process. When I found the end of the line there weremore than 15 people waiting with (1) checker. I didnt bother waiting and went to Safeway. This store is a joke

They have toliet paper! Lines are long only two check outs. Never have rubbing alcohol. Clean store yet they dont wipe down the carts. Great prices on bulk items and fresh fruit.

Good selection and late wine varietals but lines too long. No different than Costo run.

I live Smart and Final. I have shopped with them since 1975. Best prices in Marin.

Great place. Clean. Easy to shop. Lots of great deals in organic bulk produce. Lots of fun stuff if you are just a home cook looking to stock up on professional products.

Checkout and navigating the store can be a hassle but its worth it.Plenty of bulk savings, Max packs, etc. The chaos in the store when its busy can make browsing for items a chore but once you know where the basics are it becomes easier.If there were three and a half stars, thats the rating I would give. I feel the four stars was a more fair gauge of the stores usefulness to me than three. Happy shopping!

Very new to me as oppose to a few years ago!! Oh so much more appealing to the eye. More to choose from along with items that never existed. I had a hard time finding items.(SMILE).! Good job.😃

This is a good store. They have good sale items and things you dont find in other stores. Some of their bulk items are comparable to Costcos. It is not in my neighborhood but worth the trip.

Why you would shop at Smart & Final:1. You have all the time in the world. THE LINES ARE FOREVER!!!2. You need food or household supplies in bulk, plenty of that.3. Youre hosting a party and need good prices on cheap meat & beer.4. If the idea of joining Costco is not for you, this could work.5. If cheap and low quality are good by you, by all means shop here.

You look for customer service employees help you in a bad mood and it takes forever to pay.

Ive been shopping [professionally] at the S.R. Smart and Final for almost 4 years. Ive seen staff come and go. Cymande, who is there currently, is the best. She is friendly and warm without being too chatty, and Ive seen her cheer up disgruntled customers on several occasions. It seems like the store is deliberately understaffed (shareholder value, anyone? they are publicly traded), which is unfortunate both for customers and for shoppers. Other than that, the store is fine. I shop early -- before 9am -- and rarely are there lines at that time.

Prices listed were incorrect on various items or misleading. There was limited selection for smaller quantities of items, I needed a few basic necessities for a 2 day trip on the road and this was the only place open. Some of the produce was expensive in my opinion. The cashier was kind of rude when we came in and asked for carts, which happened to be all the way out in the parking lot, with over an hour left till closing. The employees stocking the shelves had various pallets and pallet jacks all over the store room floor which felt berry cluttered, couldnt get to certain items without crawling around them, and having to move my cart out of the isle a few times for them. My thoughts were, if they are closing in an hour or so, shouldnt they just wait till closing to do all the stocking, or at least bringing out the gigantic pallets of stuff? They also didnt have any singles or something like a 6 pack of small juice bottles/boxes, etc, instead they want you to buy a 30 pack. Again, not conducive to a simple 2 day trip with limited trunk space when everything is in bulk, I guess its the wrong kind of store for that, but having a few other options besides tons of bulks stuff is convenient too.

Good Prices but the line are INSANE! I was in a line that almost reached the back of the store. Sales are great, but 5 check out lines and 2 cashiers every time Im there, every week????? @#$%@!

Okay prices okay selection some bulk items a viable alternative to a large box store

Great prices, though you wont find much organic products or tofu--but for ordinary household and pantry items, this will beat a trip to Costco.

Easy in and out. They get you through the checkout lines very efficiently.

Staff was awesome, in my only experience going here we asked the staff to get a box down from the top and they did so very quickly and with a great attitude. Would go again if I needed something.RD

OMG talking bout Stupid mee.. I done lock out my family .. left my keys in Da car went grocery.. luckily my oldest had his cell to save the nite.had to wait til closing time .. was Thankful one Employee notice that we were out in The parking lot for a long time with are cart still filled with lots of grocery bags and ask if we were ok. But was not able to help due to tools available. But was Thankful he asked. HUMAN KINDNESS DONT COME AS USUAL SO WHEN it Is offer Stay Blessed..

This store has some of the worst service. Long lines, and managers who just dont care. Manager Kelly is the worst: passive aggressive and fake answers to all questions. The cashiers are nice tho, even if they always look tired and beaten down.
