$12.89 for a bolt at Fastenal versus $2.39 for the identical bolt at West Marine???Went in yesterday to get a 3/8X11 stainless bolt. They said they didnt have any in stick but could have it by 8:00am today. Told them to get me two. Didnt ask the price. Went to West Marine & got a 3/8X8 stainless bolt to see if we could make that work. We couldnt but not a big deal, it was $2.39. Went in this morning to get the 3/8X11 bolts. After quite a bit of time due to computer problems they charged me $50.32 for the two bolts, $18.89 each for the bolts plus $8.39 shipping & handling (plus $0.35 city tax, $1.03 county tax, & $2.77 state tax). Amazed at the price I asked they how much a 3/8X8 stainless bolt would be from them & they said $12.89. The head markings on the West Marine & Fastenal bolts are identical - F593C THE.
