Super cute. We happened upon it unexpectedly. Fancy adult coffee shop up front, glass walled off play area in the back (so the kids can go crazy without disrupting the front side). My 1.5 yo was pretty mindblown running around, older kids up to 5-6 would have a lot of fun too. The design of the play place is whimsical and clearly very carefully planned out (fake grass sliding hill, cozy nook for reading, “cave” with a sound track and colored lights)… not like the McDonald’s indoor playground some other indoor play places- not that kids don’t love those too. Would suggest you bring kids non-slip socks- the stairs can be a little slippery, and bring socks for yourself too (though they sell the slippery kind)

Omg! I cant say enough about this place! I was frazzled juggling kids and the owner was very helpful.Parking is right across the street and you can pay via app, so you dont have to leave and come back.My mocha with a splash of vanilla was awesome. No smoothies and limited on syrup choices: peppermint, etc.My 2 yr old and 1yr old absolutely love the play area. Who am I kidding.... I loved playing in the play area too! We spent an hour and could have stayed longer had there not been a private booking.The play area was very clean and was cleaned after our use. Make sure to bring socks as they are keeping the area extra clean by not allowing shoes on the play area flooring.Awesome place, I cant wait to come back when in the area again!

Amazing place to grab a coffee and catch up with a friend! If you are a working parent they have a lovely indoor play center and you can work/sip your coffee while your kids play.

The dream cafe shop with my favorite​ furniture​ brand, they have a kid playground which will cause some noise​ but in general it should be fine, but they dont have enough pastry, only have drinks.

This place is a gem. Very esthetically pleasing to the eye, very kid friendly, delicious coffee and pastries. I wish we had a place like this in San Mateo. My son and family had such a great time. We got there within the last hour so playtime admission was half off. Ill be back.

The ambiance is perfect to sip on coffee and clear your mind.

This place is the best. We moved away from San Rafael for a year and came back and it’s the first place my kids asked about. The coffee shop is still open I believe which is top notch.

Aesthetically pleasing, thoughtfully designed. The perfect place to relax with your choice of coffee or tea, a pastry and a book, while your kids play dress up, tag, read a book, rock climb or slide down the hill of the indoor playground. Cheers!

This place is awesome! Beautiful decor. Very nice owners and a super cool play space! My daughter has had a few weeks off before school starts and I can get a little work done while she gets to play with new friends.

New coffee shop and play area for little kids in downtown San Rafael. The inside is very cozy with nice decorations. Good for sitting, having a cup of coffee and reading a book or magazine. The play area looks fun. Too bad my kids are outgrown a place like this, otherwise well be a regular customers!

This is a great coffee shop. The interior is modern and trendy and the coffee and food is well made.Ive had their cold brew coffee, chocolate croissant, and breakfast burrito and I enjoyed them all enough to get them again at other times.

The kids I nanny love this place, and it’s really nice, but the prices are a little extravagant. That being said, it’s a good atmosphere and they have great coffee! It’s just not a place that I can afford every day.

Lovely decor and great coffee which reminds me a lot of the old Bump City coffee in Petaluma (getting the beans from the same place maybe?). A tad on the expensive side though (over $5 for a small iced soy latte).Would I go back? Yes.Would I go back often? Probably not with the current pricing.

Great place for parents to get a little break while kids enjoy the play room. I wish they had wider open hours.

I just recently went to have a latte based on suggestions from a number of friends. I found the decor and ambiance to be definitely above the level of your average café. You can immediately tell that the owner put some thought in the design, and choices in the furnishings. My latte came on a small silver tray with a glass of water. It was a very classy touch, and the latte was excellent. The other unique feature is there is a glass enclosed jungle gym for children. There is a cost based on age and usage time, but its a great feature for parents that want to enjoy a coffee, while their children are having a great time. This is a very unique place, and I would definitely go back when Im in San Rafael.

It’s beautiful in here! They have yummy pastries, excellent service, and a delightful indoor play area. My 10-year-old is loving it.

Great idea, pretty decently priced but i found the drinks lacking and was a bit awquard having to transfer everything to cups to watch my kids play!

You can really sense the creative genius when you go to Fox & Kit! The owner cares about his employees and treats the customers like long-lost friends.

Nice place specially if have kids. We have a business meeting there and say a moment was too noisy though there is a closer playground for kids.

Really well designed indoor play area for a reasonable cost. It can get crowded but it’s well worth going.

Its a very beautiful place, but you need to pay for parking, and you need to play to use the playground and its a bit expensive.
