French creamy? Yes please! But now I have to avoid Hillsdale because its undoing my weight loss efforts. The nicest folks work there, nice chill spot with seating inside and out. Love it!

This place has really good breads and pastries. I love the mango danishes and berry danishes too. The breads are generally fresh. I am not a fan of the coffee here..the latte is very basic and watery. I do highly recommend it for bakery items and offcourse its in hillsdale mall which is always a good place to hang

A family favorite, excellent pastries, sandwiches, soups. And a tremendous array of desserts my favorite Cream Brulee and Chocolate Eclairs. I had the Shrimp Bay sandwich one of the new additions to their Menu. It was a good choice. My daughter had the Turkey and avocado Sandwich, the other one had the Tomato Soup.

My favorite spot for sandwiches, salads, and pastries!!! Food there is so cheap and delicious! Ingredients taste super fresh as well. I even tried their weird sando bento box and it didnt disappoint me. I always come here and I shop in Hillsdale. I wouldnt bring a date or some random friend here because its just a small simple cafe but I love coming here by myself

Rude workers and management, coming here can ruin your day. I was in line with nobody else there and when someone else walked in, they took that persons order next. It gets worse, another person walks in and they took her order. Then sandwich bar had all the orders mixed up and were giving the people who came last their order first. It seems like this place practices discrimination. The manager was rude and didnt care. If you dont want to ruin your day, dont come here. I urge you to stay away, there are so many other great places in the mall to go to.

The sandwiches here are really big and filling! I felt like I was eating a gourmet sandwich.

They have good selections and did provide an excellent service. The spicy turkey with pepper jack cheese sandwich is to die for. It was really good! Ill surely visit again.

A bakery & lunch place with excellent breads and baked goods. Delicious pastries and cakes. Good, casual lunch spot for tasty sandwiches, salads, and soups. Comfortable seating, although it does get very crowded at lunch.

Hit or miss with their desserts but I think their pastries are a better bet as far as freshness. I love their 1/2 salad 1/2 sandwich. Garden vegetable and Turkey avocado on sourdough! If you are just looking for bread this is a great bakery and their pre-ordered cakes are delicious. If you are looking for their tropical flan, which happens to be my favorite, you might get an old one.

Their breads are freshly made everyday. My father loves their white loaf of bread and almond croissant. I personally love their pesto bread with a side of cream cheese, cheese danish, and their croissants. I love buying cakes here too, its not too sweet, just perfect for your taste.

One of our friend recommended we try Andersen bakery at Hillsdale. My husband and I had a great experience. The staff was helpful answering our questions regarding the different kind of bread. We ended up buying a couple along with the Capuchino cake, witch was the best cake we had for a long time! Just a friendly word Miss Jessica Kim : there is a sign in the bakery saying NO pets allowed! Just need to be a little bit more observant, no? Bottom line they have awesome baked goods, go try them out !!!

Ordered the Soup and Sandwich meal and the food was nothing to wow anyone about. Presentation was horrible and it tasted like nothing, very bland. The meat was served on what looked like a cocktail servers tray and not on a plate. The baked goods looked great but I did not try anything. This was an alternative place to eat as opposed to the new food terrace at Hillsdale Mall. Likely will not come back.

Is the Hillsdale location under new ownership? Went there on Saturday (12/12/2015) and there was an entirely new staff there. The week before it was still the old staff. They werent as friendly and helpful as the previous staff. There attitude was like they didnt care to provide service. Twice we asked to have the loaf of bread sliced. He went in the back, came back with the bread in a plastic bag and it wasnt sliced when we got home. Asked about sandwiches and they said they didnt have any. What has happened? It was a tradition to have a little lunch there when we were out doing our errands. A week before I would have provided 5 stars.

If you find it difficult to reach here, enter the mall from west sailor drive in front of Trader Joes. Its next to Sandbox VR and sees candies. Great place!

I love this place unfortunately they dont carry my favorite minestrone soup that they used to carry in the past. And unfortunately they dont put the pickles next to the sandwich anymore which really sucks.

This bakery has a good pastrys and cakes to order. I order a full sheet cake for my nephew very good quality and fresh .order 3 milk cake.and every one like it.

There pesto bread was fantastic before, now you have to digging to see pesto and cheese ! I never go there anymore .

The service I received today was absolutely amazing from the bakery end to the deli end. The cashiers were super attentive and pleasant. The place was clean and organized. I love this place and would recommend everyone to give Andersens Bakery a try. When I go to Hilsdale mall which is not very often this is a routine stop for us.

I been going to this bakery since open every Sunday after playing my weekly soccer game. I have to say that there products over all are ok, and some serves very helpful and friendly. But in every business it takes one unfriendly reaction from an individual to kill an appetite for their products. Last week I stop by to get my sweet muffins and strawberry tart apparently the manager help me I paid and one of bags was left behind the counter i got home and look for my favorite pastry and it was not there today Sunday again I did the same routine and I ask the person that help me last week and the answer was that my pastry was left in there all day and it was put in the garbage his words his manners to be manager are totally unfriendly. I ask if I can get a replace pastry without paying and his answer was no you have to pay its not responsibility its not the money its the quality of service that people like not unfriendly service from miserable individuals

I had a very stressful and horrible experience at the Anderson Bakery today!I walked up to the counter holding my little dog (there were no signs saying pets were not allowed), and nobody told me when I entered.I asked the cashier for some bread and she ignored me and asked a old woman behind me if she got there before me, that was really disrespectful because I was at the counter first! The woman behind confirmed that I was there first.Then I told the cashier what I wanted and she said I should put my dog down. I didn’t understand, and she said “yes dogs not supposed to be here”. I brought my dog here last year and didn’t have any problems. Hillsdale mall is very dog friendly, and I saw many people take dogs into Starbucks and Anderson Bakery. Anyway, I said “ok, I didn’t know that and put my dog down.Suddenly the old woman behind me said, “yes, dogs are not supposed to be inside restaurants”.I ignored and continue asking for the bread that I want, and the ugly old woman behind me keeps annoying me about my dog. Why didn’t she say anything before if it was a problem? Why did she wait until the cashier said something, and then kept annoying me about it saying “Dogs are not supposed to be here”. I replied that I didn’t know and was sorry, but that boring old woman keeps arguing to me.Then after I paid for my bread the cashier apologies to that old woman who started arguing with me. I was really upset that the bakery cashier apologies to the person who started arguing to me.Cashier supposed to tell me before she gets my order.Then she will lose 1business but she can keep bakerys clean image,Why she doesnt respect customer but still wants my money???Anderson bakery supposed to put some sign on. Cuz I almost punch to noisy old womans (behind me) head.Don’t go to Anderson Bakery unless you like being disrespected!
