Excellent service and good prices. My install was pretty straightforward, essentially plug-and-play with a bit of repair from a previous owners install, and they had it taken care of in a couple hours. When it turned out that I had the extent of plug-and-play compatibility incorrect (poor reading comprehension on my part), they got me back in and taken care of at no extra cost, sometime I certainly didnt expect. Aaron and Luis will be top of my list for any future work I need done.

I was looking for an experienced stereo installer, there are not many around. After talking with a few people I ended up going to see Luis at Pro Stereo Installation in San Mateo.At first I wanted to upgrade from a stock head unit to an Apple Carplay and backup camera in my 20 year old Audi A4. Luis did an amazing install and everything works great!Then, my wife’s car, a 15 year old Outback Wagon, was ready for the same treatment. Apple Carplay headunit, backup camera and also it needed the Japanese only install kit that allows the double din to fit in the dash. After ordering parts from Japan and buying the Carplay and backup camera gear, we were ready to install. Again, Luis did an outstanding job….super clean, very nice work!Then I decided I wanted a little bass and went back to luis to add that and sure enough, same awesome install again.Safe to say that now with the Carplay we have all the great features in our 15 and 20 year old cars!Full nav, extra power for the music, backup cameras for safety and very modern touches to our well kept older models.I would suggest you visit Luis with any stereo questions and needs and he will be certain that you leave as a happy customer with quality installations at fair prices. In addition, Luis is a nice guy! What else can you ask for?

This shop is fantastic and I’d highly recommend them for any audio work. Luis is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. They put four new Phillips speakers in my car and they sound great. They work fast and prices are very reasonable. Aaron is also super knowledgeable and friendly. This crew goes above and beyond for their customers. I only wish I had another car so I could give them more business!

A colleague referred me to Luis and his crew for a new stereo installation in my 05 Xterra. Luis patiently reviewed my desired setup and was able to recommend a more cost effective and ultimately better solution. We set an install date and when I arrived, Ivan was outside the shop to offer me a ride to work! Thats going above and beyond right there, but then when I came to get my truck later the same day, Ivan and Luis had repaired a fuse issue in my center console lights! Amazing work. Amazing customer service. Keep it local, people. These guys have been in business for 35 years, and it shows.

Don’t go to them with anything that isnt quite plug and play. They aren’t quite the pros the name suggests.Came to them with a Bmw m3 for an upgrade that would have necessitated to remove a few trim panels and run some cables. They didn’t even want to try under the excuse that it was too complicated and didn’t quite know what to do. I’ll try to find some real pros next time.

Awesome and dedicated service and solution finders! The car I purchased for my son didnt have all the regular bluetooth audio options and had an older cable interface that wouldnt allow the phone to be charged while installed, which in todays world of cell phone GPS and bluetooth audio meant my son would have to choose between music or GPS. We went everywhere and to everyone, did internet research...nothing, nada. Came to Pro Audio and dealt with one very kind gentlemen who then contacted another coworker/owner (Aaron) who was on an off day. Aaron researched and researched and met with me to test an option and then more research. Long story short, he tracked down literally the ONLY solution that would work and referred me to make the purchase myself in order to save money. So, we got the solution we wanted for less than $100 and we purchased it ourselves. Pro Auto Stereo Installation cared more about my happiness and got me the perfect solution and spent loads of time and didnt make even $1 from the help they gave me. I will tell all my friends/family/strangers to come here to be treated with care and respect. Customers are always first at Pro Auto Stereo Installation!
