My favorite target in the area. Its always so nicely kept and well taken care of. The employees are really helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. I mean, who doesnt love target? 😛

Good selection, clean store, friendly employees and great value /price. Parking is easy and has charging area. Merchandise is well presented and need displayed. Wait time at Check out line is normally short. No masks required for vaccinated individuals.

This is for the employee working self checkout. I felt very humiliated by her. I bought a hamper and some other stuff. I put everything in the hamper so I dont have to pay for a bag. The employee looked at me a d looked inside the hamper, to make sure I wasnt stealing anything. I have been shopping there for 20yrs. I dont appreciate being singled out like that. I did not feel like I was a customer. She made me feel like I was a thief. I told the manager that the employee was very rude. I just lost my husband a month ago.

The prices here are exorbitant. I looked online and a candle was listed for $2.50. At this particular store it was listed for $3.89. Thats 55.6% above Targets online listed price. Similarly, while I was in the store I heard another man looking at the beer and exclaiming about how ridiculously high the beer prices were. I know that supply chains are implemented and inflation is high right now, but this resembles price gauging more than it resembles inflation.

Super clean and well stocked with more options than other targets. I go out of my way to this target compared to closer stores.

Found what I was looking for. Place needs abit of clean up. Parking outside was the worse. Come with patience.

Target in San Mateo is well stocked in a variety of merchandise. My review though is to commend an employee in the Tech Department who helped me with wireless headphones to use with my hearing aids. Irvin gave me the best customer service I have ever received at this store & because his service was so helpful, I chose to buy the product even though I had only gone in to research. If you are in need of help in the Tech department - ask for Irvin. He is fantastic.

I visited the store because there was a baby registry there. The items that were on the registry were not in the store. Employees did not have an idea where to find item. Employees English language was too poor to communicate with and they didnt offer to get help from another employee whos language skills might further help.Item are so overpriced I do not love to shop there.

Todays customer service from the cashier and customer service rep Trina. Target has good selections of products but so does Amazon so customer service is the winning point.

The store is great but wonder why it is impossible to buy the new xbox of ps5 at this store? The manager jophil and higher ups know when they drop and buy them under fake names on the order pickup app to sell for profit elsewhere. Jophil is a manager here that buys the ps5s and sells them on facebook marketplace (under the name Jophil Nayve) for profit. people like him are the reason we cant buy those consoles for our kids. Corporate should fix this problem.

I went here for a curbside pickup. Any in-store pickup order can be changed to a curbside pickup order. Youll need to install the target app, and it will give you a code that you need to show the person bringing out your order, to confirm to them they are giving you the right order. No need to open your window, even during the night - my screen automatically bumped up its illumination to 100%. Orders came out in a timely manner.

Target at Bridgepoint is my go-to location. I go there 2-3x a week. The retail floor area is always clean and organized and well stocked Safe location.My one complaint is the womens bathroom. Its almost always in a state that you wouldnt want to use - un-flushed / clogged toilets, tp and seat covers on the floor. And a few of the stalls have misaligned hardware on the door such that it doesnt line up to close properly. Ive spoken with one of the staff to let manager know and have maintenance people fix. Still the same thing as of today.I am writing this review only because Target sent an email survey asking for a review. So here it is. Hopefully Target Team Leader reads this and makes bathroom cleanliness as important as the rest of the shopping experience. I still love Target in spite of the bathroom issue.

The best customer service ever! I left one of my bags in my cart and didn’t realize until I got home and needed to cook dinner. I called the location and asked if anyone turned in a bag of groceries. Angel answered the phone and was very nice. He suggested I come in and they will allow me to grab all the food I had missing. It was late, so I came in the next day. The lady in customer service asked me to high light the groceries I lost on my receipt. They returned my whole bag of lost groceries. The best customer service ever!!

I am handicapped and it is extremely painful to wait in line to get in to the store and walk around. I absolutely love the curbside delivery. Your employees use safety measures and are always polite and friendly. I am happy to see that I may be able to get produce from the grocery area now too. That will make my life even easier!

I dont think anybody really works here. Ive called every extension the phone directory offers and cant get an answer anywhere. I was trying to make sure they had an item before I drove down there. Honestly, it would have taken less time to just drive the 40 minutes to look myself.

The item that I picked up didnt work. Also I wasnt told to bring my order number.

This target is one of the larger ones in the area. Full sized with all the departments youd expect of a super sized target. The produce is usually very good and some items are competitive with Safeways pricing. Vegan and vegetarian options are pretty good (lots of gardein options). Fully wheelchair accessible with wide aisles and an accessible stall. One person working checkout ensured I was helped to my car so I didnt have to maneuver the shopping buggy through the parking lot.

A very pleasnt personne; from Target at Wipple Rd., Hayward whose name is Kim, ed help us set up the online buying to be picked up at the San Mateo store since it was not available at the their store. My wife and I have never experienced the kind of treatment and service that Kim gave us.She was patient and really made us feel at home in her store. The pick up process was flawless and worry free. I found items online I needed that werent available in-store! The ease of ordering online for pickup made it effortless.

I recently visited this target and met these two very helpful young handsome men. One asian one and soccer prospect Hispanic one. They kindly helped me around the store and showed me where the cool tee shirts are! Target hired two very respectful boys and I am glad to see them working! Will be returning soon my favorite target by far!

Overall good experience, but bad experience with a pickup order. Ordered one stuff for my wife, but after couple of hours they messaged me it went out of stock. That was a horrible experience, still 4-star.

Been to this Target location probably 50 plus times, and I would say about 30% of the time the advertised price from the self is less than what I ring it up for at the cashier. Odd thing is is that the price always errors in targets favor. Target never messes up rings it up as less than advertised. lack of restocking in the groceries area. Every time I go and items are out of stock. I constantly tell myself I am not going back, but I end up back

Decent store. Although if youre like me, you use the handheld cart and they never have them available at the front.

I had to bring heavy groceries to the curb in SF for a funeral service (this was pre-quarantine). Carts are not allowed outside the store normally. The store manager on duty helped me use the cart to get to the curb & load everything quickly into my waiting car. Such great service and a personal touch when it mattered. I am a huge Target fan!

Target makes shopping very convenient and I love the 5 percent savings and cart wheel for added savings.

Im never buying clothes at Target again. I spent 4 weeks trying to return some pants I bought for $40, which were made weird. They were brand new and purchased off of a credit card, so they should have had the record of it. But no one could figure it out. And finally they told me they wouldnt take them back. In a pretty rude way.

Went here yesterday, big mistake! No managing about how many people go in & out. Didn’t know people can come in without masks or wear them on their neck. MANAGEMENT does nothing about this. SMC has a rule that you need to wear a mask. Why put all the 6ft distance signs if u just let everyone in at the same time. No other targets are like this. NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS ONE!!!

It is very convenient and Target has so many of the things that I need at good prices.

Fair pricing and return policy. They always have what I need and I know they will stand by their product. I am always able to quickly shop and checkout at bridgepoint. All the employees are helpful and friendly. Honestly Target was listed as one of my biggest perks when moving to this neighborhood.

This a wonderful place to shop. Every thing is clean and there are lots of merchandise to chose from. The prices are very good and there is lots of parking. Recently I had an issue (totally my fault) and the employees helped me correct it. I will be shopping there way more than before.

The prices are going up and it appears as though youre trying to compete with ... I dunno who. I liked my old Target when it was simpler. Also, the prices on the shelves DO NOT MATCH THE PRICE AT THE REGISTER. I told this to customer service, but the person couldnt even be bothered with writing down the products I was talking about. SO, are you TRYING to trick consumers??

What in God’s name did they do to this store? Avoid at all cost. The design and layout is a maze so you have to look at more products. I will never shop at this target again because the layout is so bad.

Waited patiently in line to make a return. Cashier allowed a woman behind me to cut me in line and helped her even though I was waiting. I let it happen and didnt say a word. I thought, maybe she has a lot going on right now. Then, when he finally called me up to the register, he was rude. I literally did nothing and said nothing and somehow was still treated with disrespect. Shocking.

Customer service. I can see the employees being well trained to work in store. They are friendly and provide information when needed. Store layout is great. I see Target is care about the customers.

The store was laid out quite well and items were relatively easy to find. The issue was checking out the clerk was not listening to us when we were explaining he was not charging us for both photos, then tried to charge us for extra photos, then tried to charge us for the next persons bananas after we kept telling him those were not ours and asking him repeatedly to remove them from our total. Finally, after all of this he asked us to complete the Target survey and leave him positive feedback. I am going to assume he has just been having a bad day and not leave the feedback as it would not have been positive.

Convenience, specially if you are short in time

I love this Target. They have a great selection, but they are so slow. It can take 1/2 hour just trying to check out with a cashier. When I go in for an ankle brace or a lipstick, I dont want to wait in line for 30 minutes to leave. Their Starbucks is okay but definitely not up to par with other Starbucks in the area.

Very quick service

I recently moved to San Mateo and am very excited to have such a great Target so close! This location is large with a great selection, clean, and a Starbucks! It also has self-check out stands at each entrance!! One of my favorite features as I love the self-check outs.I have also found the staff to be quite helpful. One employee spent a good 5-10 minutes trying to help me found a coupon I saw on a sign in the store and it ended up not applying to my purchase. I truly did appreciate the effort as the coupon was hidden quite well.

I was helped by Krista! She noted the NFL gear available & mentioned a promo. I was pleasantly impressed by the attention.

I go there a lot, it has a great variety of everything you can think of.The ONLY problem here is that the cashiers are limited and slow (easy 20 min wait) REAL SLOW.Sometimes I dont go dressed my best and it never fails to have someone following me. Its like: Just because Im Latina doesnt mean I dont have money to buy.....but I just laugh and keep walking.... Starbucks isnt all that either

Not user-friendly at all. There are several items that will not allow to add to the Baby registry even though on the MyDevice the item shows up. Most of my time was wasted.

I really dislike the new remodeled store. It doesn’t make any sense. Toy dept is much smaller in my opinion. It seems like things are all over the place. Office and cards should be together. Not anymore. I got frustrated and left without purchasing what I needed.

The lady who helped me when I pick up my order was very nice. As I told her that I forgot to bring my cell phone with me to show her my pick up code, she told me not to worry, and after I showed her my name and ID, she went back and soon brought me my order with a smile.

They had me waiting over 20 minutes, for the drive up feature, and when I called I got hung up on 3 times! With 2 small children in the back, no one should have to be waiting for that amount of time. It defeats the purpose of it being convenient.

Shop here before noon and youll find things stocked well on the shelves, and a LOT fewer people. Major difference from the afternoon and evening chaos at this busy store. Very friendly staff make this one of my favorite Target stores, though. Theyre genuinely kind and helpful.

I’ve been a fan of Sony and PlayStation since I was a little kid and they continue to bring the noise with every version of the PlayStation that is released! To be noted they did have a data breach which was a bit of a bummer however nowadays it’s more like who has it so I’m still a Sony fan and will continue to be.

The entire store looked like it had seen better days. There were no shopping carts available at one of the entrances, the womens restroom was in dire need of cleaning and re-stocking (no toilet paper in at least 3 stalls), shelves needed some major recovery, the diet coke was out of order, and the soda/icee/condiment area was a mess. Checkout didnt take too long and the cashier was friendly, but I would recommend going to another location if possible.

Target is Target, like elsewhere, always clean and tidy and offer good prices for good quality. This store is especially spacious that you can spend half a day there shopping. I didnt find self-check out machine, which may be the reason why every check out line was long.

I was unhappy with the way the clerk waited on me. She started a conversation with the customer behind me when I was still doing my transaction and wasnt done paying for my item yet. I felt invisible and disenfranchised to say the least.

The pick-up is fast and effective.

This is a Target. It is like other Targets. Reasonably clean, quiet, good selection of goods at a decent price. I will say this one has a grocery store with decent amount of foods, wines, spirits.

I ordered an item online for the convenience but stood in line for a good 20 minutes to get it.When my attendant finally helped me,he stopped on the way to get the item to help another customer and that took another 15 minutes.It would have been a lot faster if I had gone and picked up the item myself.I cancelled the order and I don’t think I’ll be back to that store.

This Target has vastly improved its customer service and offerings over the years. And their late hours save me time after time! I can find virtually everything I need when I need it.
