Came here today to buy/replace the battery for my Nissan. First time in this location. Technicians are friendly and installed the battery as a courtesy, the service was great! No problem - no worries! Five stars for excellent customer service!
I asked for a HEPA cabin filter matching my car.Was told the item wasnt in stock, but could be pre-paid and shipped to store.The filter shipped wasnt a HEPA filter though, so I have to come back to return the item.As a result, it takes 3 store visits to not get the part I needed. Im very dissatisfied with the experience.

I am always able to find anything I need or special order it at AutoZone. The employees are always helpful and courteous.The only negative is when you call to inquire about a part and they are busy with customers expect to be a hold for a very long time. I would suggest going in and talking to them instead.I get it, when they are busy on the floor they cant get back to the phone as easy. I would give them 5 Stars if it wasnt for the long hold time on the phone. Please dont let the negative phone review deter you from doing business with AutoZone. THEY DO A GREAT JOB at helping you find what you need for your car.
The employee personally handed me and sold me a wiper blade where the package was opened and the blade was swapped with another one. Did not realize it until much later. Was likely not out of malice but they should check their inventory and fake returns more.
They did not help us today at all specially the commercial manager Luis ..he refused even to check our engine light check and also they did not help to replace the brake lights which we bought them right there from them.
The first guy I asked for some help, didnt seem to know or want to let me know where the Catalysts converter cleaner was. He just pointed to the area. I started hollering questions. He didnt know anything. Just shouted,I dont know?! I was about to walk out, Then a female voice came from around the end cap& asked, to clear a smog check?! & then this young lady, who worked there, came around to me & talked like she knew what was up. Then, I asked about a car battery, we walked over to the register & she looked them up. Alicia was her name & if it wasnt for her knowledge & awesome customer service. I would have NEVER returned.Thanks Ali. U are a true meaning to GIRL POWER!!!
My alternator went out and I still had to drive 3 hrs to get home. They had all the right parts and tools to get my truck fixed in minutes so I could get back on the road again. Oreillys down the street didnt even know what a digital multimeter was and refused to help me. They said come back tomorrow. Thank you AutoZone for helping me on the spot and having the knowledge to get me the correct parts and tools I needed to fix my truck and get back on the road again to go home. I will never forget that quality service.
It was a bit later in the evening when I walked in. No one seemed to be there to greet an incoming customer. Even after walking up to the counter, where I mustve spend what seemed like half an eternity, ( probably a minute at the most), then a friendly young man did help finding touch up paint for the car.Unfortunately they where out of the color I needed, but we ended up, replacing it with an alternate, universal one instead of the color coded GM Black I originally hoped for. It worked out just fine.Another, second employee paid no mind, as one more evening prospect for sales person walked in, continuing on his smart phone.My sales guy helped him and I out. Did I mention how nice this primary employee was?My business was done. The store seemed a bit lower stocked on more often purchased items. But I think the secondary guy couldnt care much either way, as he was still heavyly engaged in a conversation of the personal kind, with his back to us, constantly laughing.But my guy at AutoZone was real helpful!Still like the place! So much variety, and pretty much everything you need for your vehicle. Clean store!
Battery died in 8 month, doesnt cover anything under warranty claiming user not registered. Autozone owns Duralast and they dont stand behind the brand. Totally SCAM !
Very weird store! Placed the order online and paid online, coming to pick up, the employee told me there’s nothing for me bc they didn’t not receive the order. Poor service and technical problems

Not a very good experience honestly. Went for wheel chains. The staff mislead me about the cost and what they stock. After showing them what exactly I wanted on the internet they said they only carry something which was twice as expensive. When the staff assistant who was helping me went away to get the expensive product, I was able to use the computer to find The product I wanted which of course was in stock on the shelf next to where they kept the expensive stuff. Got it in the end though.
6 PM i was looking something ask the black guy two times please help me I can’t find this thing he didn’t came out and didn’t help me then I ask another employee he helped me.
Went in here a few times to buy some oil, tools & other necessary items. The staff was super helpful and very friendly. One of the items I picked up was a car battery. My car actually died in the parking lot and one of the employees pulled out his own portable battery jumper from his trunk and jumped my car! love this place.
Went to get a new battery. I was still under warranty, so it should have been quick and simple. First, they pulled up my information. They pulled it up for the wrong car, I brought it to their attention, and they pulled up the correct car showing my battery was still under warranty. They went to check and told me they didnt sell those batteries anymore and Id need to buy a different one. This battery is a basic, standard, popular Duralast battery still used in a majority of vehicles. I check online and they have it, but they insist its not made anymore. I had to call another store AND the district manager and have several conversations between the three of us before the district manager was able to get the store manager to replace my battery. I spoke with the store manager to find out what happened and he said they were looking at the wrong car and, therefore, the wrong battery. When I informed him that I was standing there the entire time and that I had verified they pulled up the correct vehicle the second time, he just repeated himself. Ladies, do not go to this store, they WILL try to rip you off. I will not be returning.
Conveniently located on the corner of 39th Av and ECR with parking that has room for folks to add fluids or parts. The staff go out of their way to be helpful.
The staff that answered my inquiry over the phone (Daniel) was very knowledgeable, helpful & pleasant. He made sure the part they had was for the make & model of my car. He even informed me how many they had & reserved it for me so that its still there when I arrive. Its only a 4 because, I dont know if all their staff are just like him.
Great service. . And the commercial and the regular service is top of the line. Many customers complain thinking they are the only ones important. They forgot they are not home!!! This is my second time going to this AutoZone. The first visit was not very pleasant customer service was not great. however this particular time the gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable had a great customer service skills I do appreciate that thank you

For a car parts franchise like Autozone the difference between one location and another depends on two things: parts in stock and competence of the store personnel. I was quite impressed with the cashier who helped me today at store #2854 in San Mateo, CA. He was knowledgeable, quick and competent. I just regret that I do not remember his name. Hopefully, I can ask on my next visit.
Customer service is very good at this location. They have what I need most of the time.
Pretty typical AutoZone. Normal selection/variety of things, always seems well stocked. Staff are helpful, whether finding parts or trying to figure out an order status. The computer system at this location seems to have issues sometimes as there have been problems pulling up order details depending on which method was used by staff to find it. In the end they work to get you the best outcome and be satisfied, though.

If you want to find the part at AutoZone if they dont have it they will help you find somebody who does if you drive a lot of miles and there is a mistake made everybodys a human being on this Earth and thats my personal opinion is never a reflection on AutoZone what I say is what I can say because Im an American and I say what the hell I want to say
I bought brake pads for my Toyota corolla 2013, they give me wrong size brake pads, I had to go back return it get right size and I bought brake pads clips it was wrong size as well they dont really pay attention what exactly you need they just give you something that is not right

Very rude, dismissive, understaffed. I recommend going elsewhere if you need a headlight replacement.
It does the trick in a pinch but generally only carries universal parts or tools. If you drive a VW or other German car you can make due and I have many times but any specialty size is not available here. Also the same goes for Euro spec Oil. Sometimes they have it but it is almost always out of stock. It has been much easier with Toyotas getting things done but we need to work on Euro vehicles as well. Its my go to for Oil recycling and has helped me a few times with loaner tools.
Terrible service.Before even going to the store, I’ve already checked the online inventory and it showed that they have the timing belt i needed in stock. When I spoke with the cashier/manager(grey shirt), he proceeded to offer me a full kit with water pump and tensioners... I said no, I only need the timing belt.. Then he lied to my face and said they don’t have the timing belt by itself in stock. Offered to “order” the belt and I can pick it up the next day around noon. I said no if I wanted to order it, it would be delivered to my house by noon the next day. Then he calls Redwood City autozone for availability and they said they have it...So here I am thinking it’s gonna be different at Redeood City.I got up to the counter and asked for what I need. The guy then says which kit do you need? I just need the timing belt by itself... He proceeded to look at the available options... i can clearly see the screen and saw the timing belt by itself on the bottom that also says “in stock”.... Then he says, well we don’t have a timing belt just by itself.. Proceeds to search again this time deleting the “timing”.. searches for “belt.” Now he says there’s one for 29.99... i look at the screen and he pulled up serpentine belts!! Ridiculous!!So now I’m pretty fed up with the run around here. Told him to search timing belts again and scroll to the bottom... He goes, oh there it is... It also took him another 5 minutes to find the part. He actually came back and asked another cashier where the belts are... Wow.If i knew it was gonna be this hard I would wait the extra few days and just order online elsewhere.
The employees were very helpful. There are some that dont know to much, but act like they do. Thats with a lot of employees at different kinds of stores.
After 2 unsuccessful trips to the competitor in one day to have CEL light checked, i went to AutoZone. Rather than waiting forever for 1 person to help somebody, and get told no, we cant help you, i found the opposite. I was helped immediately, with a smile, and they found me a better gas cap than what i had. I was out in a few minutes and on my way. I found my new go-to store. I did 4 stars instead of 5 becauss the OBD scanner they have is very simple. It seems they should habe equipment thats the wonderful customer service.

I went to exchange my battery I was going get $40 For returning my battery store manager Cesar refused not to give my money he was really rude and saying bad language in Spanish to me. I report him to HR I hope he loses his Job for what he told me. I will never do business with Auto Zone after their store manager said to me.
Offers a reasonable selection of parts etc for the car but dont expect great service. I prefer OReillys to AutoZone.
