I drive 25 minutes from Scripps Ranch just to get these tacos. I love flavor and variety. The employees are always welcoming.

Whenever I go there everyone is very nice. Today we got three pounds of steak and we ask the worker who helped us if he could prepare it. Which means put salt, pepper, and lemon juice onto the meat. (Give the meat more flavor and taste.)

Best corn and flour tortillas I found in the area. Delicious aguas frescas.

They asked me if I wanted my New York steak marinated and I said sure. We got soft soap marinade. It’s not cilantro I promise. We saw the bubbles when we went to cook it. Thanks guys.

Excellent tacos here. Got a container of rice and a tub of beans to take home, and the kids devoured them both. Wish it werent so far from my house, since they keep bugging me for more! This would definitely be a take out place on a regular rotation for us if we lived closer.

After trying tried Tacos Alex, Mr. Taco #1, Oscars, and Ponchos, I was starting to lose hope that Id find a good carne asada taco in San Marcos. All these places either lacked flavor, had ridiculous wait times, or dried out, leathery, or fatty meat. Thankfully, we stopped in at Patron on a Friday night thinking wed get some groceries to try making them at home. The freshly made tacos were on special ($0.99 each) and sounded way better than hassling with trying to make them ourselves. They were really nice and made a fresh batch for us because they had run out. The meat was juicy and flavorful, the guacamole was a little spicy (which I like), and the corn tortillas were soft and warm. I wish wed ordered more because they were amazing; well definitely be back!

Fair prices and really tasty food. Came here for a pollo asado combination plate and was NOT disappointed. Also the cashier and people working in the meat department were very polite.

Small Mexican market with a good assortment of specialty products (fresh masa, yes please!) & produce and a nice meat counter with a small hot food selection (chili verde anyone?).

Everyone says this place has the best Carne Asada!! Ive only tried their salsa casera & Im addicted!! The best & its super fresh!! Will come back for their carne asada!!!

I know the people who run this place (I think they are the owners). Theyre super awesome and accommodating. But beyond that, $2.99 aguas frescas and horchata (different stuff each day - they have a choice of 5 drinks a day I think) and its so huge it lasts me two days! And, the best part is that theyre all delicious. They make my favorite horchata. I usually only go there for drinks or for ingredients to make burritos at home.They have fresh-made tortillas that you just need to heat up on a pan for a minute or so, and theyre great! I also love their beans and Mexican rice. You can get meat there as well - its like a whole butchery, and they have pre-cooked meats like a deli - and everything Ive tasted has been great. Basically, I think this place is awesome and Im so glad its just down the street from me since I can get good quality Mexican food any day.Ive personally never tried their tacos, but I heard theyre very cheap and taste good. Its on my list to try.Its also a weird request that I ask but I always bring in their aguas frescas cups and lids and everyone who has been at the cash register has been fine with re-filling it without giving me a new one. That way I use less plastic.

Came to buy milk on 8/4/17, I didnt notice it was expired and Store was already closed and couldnt return that same day. The next day I return it with receipt, the girl that was at the cashier just returned my money and didnt even apologize for the inconvenience of not being able to enjoy the product & the purpose of purchasing it late at Night!

Dont use them for catering. Your employees will starve. Too long to serve and the food was cold. Figure out that it takes more than 1 teaspoon of meat to call it a taco.

The meat has to be changed, it is in bad condition and the one that is not spoiled is old and smells bad, a few days after rotting, today the whole store smelled of spoiled meat
