Doug and Natalia are fantastic. They made a gorgeous 11ft Pecan table for me and guided me in how to make some additional matching benches. I cant say enough of how professional, kind and courteous they were. I will definitely will be going back for more.

This is the best place in Texas to get amazing slabs at prices that are reasonable. Doug and his wife run their small business with character and integrity and they treat everyone with respect. You can go a lot of places for live edge wood products, but none will give you the type of service along with high quality products that they will. I highly recommend you check them out and give them a call.

Amazing wife and husband team! Nataliia and Doug were super helpful. We were looking for a slab for a coffee table and found a beautiful piece for a great price. Coming to Blackhawk Millworks was not just transactional but a full experience. They are such a wealth of knowledge. You don’t find people like them very often. Stopped by Blackhawk Millworks after a couple fellow wood workers suggested checking them out when in need of slabs for projects. I as not disappointed at the selection. Although I was in the need of some smaller pieces...which there were plenty to choose from...they had an abundance of larger pieces. I was able to speak with both of the owners and appreciated all their help. I will surely be back again!

Doug and Natalia were super knowledgeable and helpful about the repair I needed to make to my damaged wood floors. Friendly owner operated mill with metal shop. If you are looking for dimensional or live edge hard wood these folk can help you fill your truck bed for most projects. They can cut it down to manageable sizes and they have projects on hand for samples of what you can build. I believe they also do custom builds upon request with delivery options.My search for 12-15 foot long hardwood for a shelf project brought me to this mill and rather than picking up over priced lumber in San Antonio I will be taking the drive out to Black Hawk for most of my large project needs for the foreseeable future.
