Can’t complain about the ice cream! But the store in general? It was filthy, sadly… The floors were covered in old food under the tables, the bathroom was disgusting. Truly made me wonder how often it actually gets scrubbed. Just dirty looking and paper towels all over the floor. I don’t know whose job it is, but the employees clearly never look in there or do much about it. I mentioned it to them, and they’re just like “It’s dirty?” and continued on about their business. Sad.

Sure wish I could give ZERO stars.Was so excited to try one of their ice cream cakes.I went into the shop to pick one up for our sons birthday! The price was double of what they are in H‑E‑B but, Marble Slab I thought it’s worth it. Boy was I ever so wrong! We served the cake & we all took a bite and spit it out…”NASTY!! It was Beyond edible!We all were shocked! It tasted So Old and with a lack of better words, it was Disgusting.We will never forget this nasty cake on our sons Birthday.🥺

Second time in two weeks where I’ve attempted to just buy a cup of ice cream. The first time the doors were locked prior to them being closed and this time they were out of majority of the ice cream flavors. When I asked if they could bring a new tub out she responded “it takes 15 minutes to take out and defrost and we close in 15”. I responded by letting her know that was poor customer service as I just drove across town for ice cream. Vanilla ice cream is a basic flavor that I would assume they have.

Poor customer service from Kenneth. He seemed very irritated and was tossing things around and very unprofessional. I understand he was tired and overworked, I know this due to overhearing his convo in the back with a guy who came in for his shift. I just have to say I was very disappointed, its an ice cream shop! It should be a happy place!!

Came in 30min before closing so the limited available toppings was understandable. The Mango and the Raspberrie sorbets were delicious, especially combined with crushed graham crackers. The small was perfect size for one person...it was so delicious that you could easily put away a large BUT no one needs to eat an entire pint of ice cream in one sitting. Well definitely return and soon! 🤤

When I went in the door it specifically had a sign that said mask required but there was a lady in there without a mask and also a man without a mask who openly coughed while standing over the counter where the toppings where and some were open with no lid smh the workers took their time and served these people while saying nothing about not wearing a mask especially after he coughed. I will not be going back his establishment.

Drove 20 minutes out of our way. We called and was told store closes at 10pm but we showed up at 9:25 pm and were told they were closed already. Employees were Very Rude. I’m extremely disappointed 😢 in this store. You lost a lot of business

The two lady’s obviously didn’t wanna be there working from how their attitudes were. They also were not wearing gloves so their hands had ice cream on them. Not ok to be doing in an establishment that serves food items, let alone in the middle of a pandemic.

They will not give you a discount even if its on their door.

From the moment we walked in we felt rushed (despite having literally nobody else in line), didnt ask if I wanted my cone dipped or not, ice cream was half melted and service was just bad. Ive been here before and it wasnt bad like that at all. The person I was with wanted two scoops and they didnt ask if he wanted a different flavor, just served him two scoops of the same flavor..We went in hoping for something different besides dairy queen and I totally regret it.

The butter pecan in a waffle cup is fantastic. I really enjoy the ice cream here. 👍👍

Only one worker..need help

Pulled up to get ice cream and the girl was sitting behind the counter eating scoops out of the containers. In the middle of a pandemic. Nah. Not cool.

Service was ok. Not terrible but not good either- employees were engaged in their own conversation and made us feel like we were disrupting that. The place was DIRTY. Dirt, crumbs, and trash all over the floor and the tables had what looked like old melted ice cream that was never wiped off. I never write reviews but there’s no excuse to not have a clean environment in a place that serves food.

I was pretty disappointed with the service of the new woman working at the counter her attitude was like she didn’t want to be there but needed a job. She said it was her first day so I’d imagine she would be putting on a better attitude. Her scoops were pretty small i me times that to her and she said no that’s the right size. I paid 17 and change just to get crazy small scoops. They had no waffle bowls and hardly any toppings I’m pretty disappointed tonight to say the least I come her to spoil my kids a couple times a month and tonight was the first time I’ve beenun-happy .

Really friendly service. Delicious ice cream. Really disgusting bathroom: terrible smell, no paper towels (nor air dryer), trash bin overflowing onto floor, gross sink and gross all over.

For the past year I keep being told the manager is working on fixing the cant use the app rewards issue (this started after they replaced their registers with a touch screen). Yet right next to the register is a pile of tear off sheets telling you to sign up for the app. I never get my points anymore bc of it and cant use my birthday coupon I had hoped to use. And the last few times we went they didnt have bananas for smoothies or splits. Overall its decent and the staff is nice but kind of overpriced and its disappointing to not be able to use the rewards I had built up and lost.

Has improved imensely since the last time I was in there over a year ago.I see they cleaned up the place and hired new friendly employees.Good job keep up the good work!

Austin Marble Slab used to make a Chocolate Swiss and this Slab has never had it. The dark chocolate was ok with mix-ins. It melted quickly in a sugar cone and made a mess. For an $11+ ice cream trip for two...It wasnt the best. No chocolate for me!

Not a fan. First of all, service not up to par. Several of the employees not very friendly. What ever happened to greeting you with a good old fashioned, Hi, how are you? or something even similar? We have had to engage them as they just stared at us. Weve also had instances where they just look unhappy to be working there! Unfortunately, Ive experienced this behavior at many retail or restaurant type establishments lately and Ive come to the conclusion that this just seems to be the norm nowadays with this generation of kids. This is also this is the 2nd or 3rd time now that Ive been here and they have been out of MANY ingredients! We just left and took our business to Sonic. We wont be back!

The guy that served us was really sweet, and made our visit nice. The store its self tho was pretty dirty, and they were our of most of the icecream flavors.

No greeting ... And the 18 yr old that let it be known that shes 18 and nothing wrong with letting a customer wait 20 seconds without getting them.... Then the cone maker with her back turned the whole time... Looking like she hated her job.... And a 30 yr oldan that literally put my ice cream down put cookies in it and just threw it in a cup like this is my career...lolWas excited to drive 39 min to get my daughter her ice cream... Till I got here.... Wow... LoL

It’s 10:09pm. Their sign says they do not close any night of the week before 10:30pm. When I walked up, the sign still said open and showed that they wouldn’t be closed until 10:30 tonight. I tried the door, and it was locked. The three staff members inside clearly saw me but did not acknowledge my presence until I went back to my car. Then one of them walked over and turned the open sign off, along with the time sign. Very upset and disappointed.

Only one employee working, but he worked his rear end off! My first time at Marble Slab, and I was very impressed.

If I could give less than a star I would. Ordered and paid for my cake on Tuesday and was told that my cookie chaos cake would be ready, with Oreo crumbles on the side (the ones in the fridge lacked the crumbles that were in the picture) any time on Thursday. Went to pick up my cake 2 hours from the birthday party only to be informed, by a very indifferent personnel, that the order was taped to the fridge and no one bothered to make it. Only when I told him that my party was within hours did he say he guessed I could take one from the fridge. When I asked if he could at least write Happy Birthday on my paid for $40 cake, and about the cookie crumbles I was promised, was I informed to come back in an hour and they were out of Oreo cookies. Mind you, there was nobody in the store and would have taken moments to fulfill my request. So, I had to travel all the way across town and back for a cake that was subpar from both what I was promised, and was in the picture. Had I not already paid for it, I would have taken my business elsewhere. The cake itself was not very good, and had only one or two cookie dough pieces a slice and nothing more. By far the worst cake buying experience.

Staff is great, but theres mold growing on glass seals in the ice cream coolers it needs to be sanitize property. Place isnt as clean as it should be. Front door is always dirty & sideways smells bad. Please have it clean.

Had an ice cream date here and got a strawberry icecream cone with chocolate chips (delicious) but I had wanted a dipped cone with white chocolate chips but I was misheard and they were out of dipped cones and also out of strawberry shakes which was disappointing🍓🍓🍓

Its hard to complain about ice cream, but I was really displeased with both the quality of my ice cream and the service. I got Snickers as a mix-in and they were so stale and crunchy that it kind of ruined the ice cream for me. It had the texture of toffee rather than Snickers. Also, the employee who prepared it for me dropped my cup on the counter and the ice cream spilled all over the sides, making a huge mess. She watched me clean it up and didnt even address it. I watched her repeat the same process with my friends ice cream. We probably used 10+ napkins cleaning the counter, our cups, and ourselves.

Not wonderful, but not awful. The ice cream tends to melt very quickly. Ive never found the service great and everythingis usually just a but dirty. You can tell they dont really tend to the dining area at all. The large selection of mix-ins and the pricing style are nice though.

I went to the Marble Slab Creamery today and order a smoothie, and was extremely disappointed with what I paid for. A raspberry smoothie is not apple juice and raspberry sorbet. Ive ordered the raspberry sorbet before and its good, but mixed with apple juice and liquified to a runny consistency is unappealing and not what i was expecting at all. If the Marble Slab Creamery is going to advertise that they sell smoothies, they could at least add some real fruit to it.

Im not a fan of high end ice cream shops and this place is no exception. If youre looking for high priced okay tasting ice cream this is the place for you. The people are very nice and friendly though and the atmosphere is nice.

The new massager let the new worker sit down in back that fine but working yesterday one was making ice cream and he was sit down or text and there one make a cake but he was sit down some them do work but half them they don’t work or clean customers ask for different kinds ice cream and the massager and Cowork don’t make it I tell him I know how or if I do and putting in front he get mad I told i follow the rules not what ever and today may 11 2019 at 10 am i was going work but I didn’t because nobody wanted answer me to open the store I put on the group chat and nobody answer it about 6 to 7 keys and no one was will come over and open and the massager got mad me cause I didn’t ask last night for key I know he knows I don’t have key some way have to be my fall I think the new massager and some working they need learn how to respect and clean the store not half way they don’t have 32 cake in front no cones cause nobody want make them no ice cream and what people ask for bathroom dirty

Most of the time the employees here know what theyre doing. My most recent visit here however was horrible. The lady took so long to get my ice cream ready that it was practically melted when she finally gave it to me. It was like ice cream soup. Who wants ice cream soup??
