Very clean,respectful and really quick check out they have anything you might need at a low price

I was very upset with the way my loans and jewelry were being handled.....but thanks to Leah, she was able to ask the buyer of some of my rings, to return them because of their sentimental value. Leah did not have to do this. I think that she understood why the jewelry was so important to me and she took a risk in my behalf. There arent too many sales people who will do that. I was so emotional and honestly didnt know what I was going to do about the ring that had already been bought and put in lay-away. Needless to say, this was the first time I dealt with a pawn shop, but the manager, Ralph, and sales people, Leah and Gabriel, all helped rectify my unfortunate situation. I read some of these other reviews and felt badly about them being posted with complaints. Maybe the customers just needed to communicate with the sales people. Once I did that, Leah reached out to me and made my day! Now I can pass down my moms and aunties rings they had intended for my children! Now I also check with Cash America, or they will reach out to me, when my loans or lay away are due! You cant ask for any better business relations than that! Thank you Ralph for supporting your sales people and inspiring them to go over and above what is required of them!

Took over 30 minutes to get my stuff out. Poor service.

Went today and got a Nintendo switch for my son. As soon as it was charged completely realized the Joy con was broken. Asked the guy to let me get warrantee on it and he said because it was part of layaway I couldnt get it.

This is by far the worst Cash America Ive been to. Ive gone all over Texas from San Antonio down to Corpus recently and this one just seems like they just wanna charge you whatever the highest price is without trying to deal with you. I was shocked at how nice the ones in Corpus were they were so inviting an polite and they generally seemed to love their job and the people they deal with daily. But here in San Marcos its the opposite youre treated like a number just get in get out no connection to the customer. Skip if you can go to the others around.

I love this place, the employees are polite, helpful and i always get the price i’m looking for; but today really had me at my breaking point. they do not close at 8 on fridays, they close at 7. and 3-4 employees watched me unload items from my vehicle all to come to a locked door after i drove 40 mins to this location. someone please update the hours.

DONT GO TO THIS PAWN SHOP!!!!!!I used to buy a lot from this shop but never again. GO TO CASH BOX!!! I don’t work for them but they are courteous and treat patrons with respect.Rude, dishonest, horrible prices, and most of the staff are not knowledgeable of the products they buy and sell. It is horrible, and damn near impossible to attempt to deal with a fool; they are a flock of fools.The manager Ralph is rude, dishonest, and not even worth the trash he purchases and sells.

Never had a problem with Cash Pawn until now. Sad really. Saw they had a PS4, normally priced for $200, well if you have been to Cash America Pawn you know that on the price stickers there are dates that on that day the price drops. Well this PS4 was scheduled to drop from $200 to $160 on 09/17. Well I asked to be polite and make sure I was getting that price, and to my surprise was told No, it hasnt been on the floor. Well you might want to update your stickers. Dont false advertise, thats the reason your rating is so low to begin with.

They offer used eBay prices for literally brand new items w/box, instructions,etc. They look up the LOWEST number on eBay and then tell you thats it. Well I looked up eBay on the same page they were on and found my item was worth 3times USED fom what they offered me. I wish I could give negative stars...

Until Monday, I would have ranked this pawn shop 5 stars. But they ganked me and caused a huge 3 hour long argument with my husband. Some of the tools in his toolbag werent there when we pawned it. I sold them an impact drill, that my hubby thought we were pawning. So I stepped outside and back in to ask if I could just pawn it. I was told I couldnt because I left, which we were in the front door so maybe 25 seconds later I came back in. The girl seemed sympathetic, but Ralph was like no she can come back in 21 days...um no we dont live in San Marcos anymore. Unbelievable! I had been a customer since 1999. But not ever again.

Good little pawn shop. Most of their prices are close to retail. The real deals come when they are trying to unload products. I have gotten some great deals on videogames and Firearms here.

Manager on duty did not advise me that the testing would include damaging my gold. Very unsatisfied with my experience. I now have a damaged piece of jewelry that Rodger the manager gave me back. Will not be returning here.

I’ve only been to this location a few times but the professionalism of Aleah can’t go unnoticed. She is a steller employee, very pleasant to deal with and extremely helpful! I saw review from Stonewall West and I didn’t see him mention Aleah so I wanted to make sure she was not forgotten because she is definitely a key asset to this store as well!

Had a terrific person in automotive today he was the best of the best

They have a great array of products at good prices especially guitars and computers

Worst prices on everything some stuff I found more expensive then new and they try and get so much profit off your sale if you try and sale stuff

They sold me busted subs, and wouldn’t take them back ! And if it was possible I wouldn’t even give them a star
