Dive Shop San Marcos is a great place for training, gear and air fills. Be sure to stop in and say ‘Hello!’ to the friendly staff when you ate in the area. They have good T-Shirts too.

We took a group of boys from our Boy Scout troop through the certification class. Michelle was great, and did a wonderful job instructing. The equipment was great quality, the pool was beautiful and classroom environment was great as well.I definitely recommend San Marcos Dive Shop for all your diving needs.

We dropped by for air fills late on a Saturday and they fixed us up. I’m from out of town, and I would shop there in a heart beat. Great selection and they are also a Halcyon dealer which is rare in Texas.

Went to the dive shop with my wife. As I have no scuba experience, I definitely had questions. James at the dive shop helped us pick out masks and gave us tips to purchase all of our necessary diving equipment. We chose to visit a dive shop as we hoped we would be properly informed. We definitely were and will be returning for our scuba certification. Thanks guys.

My wife and I have been to this shop on several occasions. We found the entire staff helpful and informative. We spent the better part of an hour asking questions about various types of gear. Even though we didnt buy anything that day, the staff was more than glad to help new divers learn about the sport.Both of us also got our open water cert here. Amazing experience! Hayden, our instructor, spent extra time with us during each session. Hayden made the classes fun and he made sure we completely understood everything.Would definitely recommend this shop and their staff for any gear or instruction needs!

Im in the middle of dive certification here. Its amazing. You can tell that they want to put qualified divers into the world. This isnt about making a buck.The dive master (teacher) is top notch, and the owner of the shop is heavily involved in the classes.The shop, as a shop, is nice with good equipment and facilities.

Got certified a couple of years ago in conjunction with the class at Texas State. Very friendly staff that taught me and kept me safe. Great equipment and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

Awesome place to get your dive gear. Lots to choose from.

They are a NAUI certified local dive shop. They are NOT PADI certified. The staff is friendly and its a great place to browse and try on stuff, but I find their merchandise way over-priced. Ive had my equipment maintained and air tanks certified and have no problems there. I havent utilized their teaching services, so I cant speak to that.Edit: They dont work on my regulator and wont take my older air tanks for re-cert. Theres little at this shop for me anymore.

Twice Ive been to this shop and had to wait around because they dont operate under their advertised hours. Customer service was under par in comparison to any other shop Ive been to, staff didnt seem to care whether I was there or not. Prices are outrageously high for most items. Drive to Austin and save yourself the pain.
