I am so glad that the staff person at Journeys told me about this place. Bought the best tennis shoes for my plantar fascitis feet. The ON shoes are one of the best shoes I have ever worn. I went in looking for Hoka shoes, but Whitney informed me that they didnt carry them just yet. Great customer service on Whitneys part. Will def go back!

Selection could be better, staff could be friendlier

I went to buy some shoes on July 14. Several customers were masked. The two employees on the floor were not, and one was working closely with customers. I was hoping to support a local business, particularly now. Show some respect for your customers, please, by following local ordinances and following basic measures to promote health. I will never return. If you want businesses open, please do your part.

We have been coming here for the past couple of years! We LOVE it! The customer service is outstanding and they are highly knowledgeable of all their products! If they don’t have a certain item you are looking for in store they can order the items you need online! They have a variety of items in store, I can always find something for us, our furbabies, and even my parents! They follow up with you if you were waiting for an item for them to get in store. I know some companies will get your info and say they will reach out but majority of the time they don’t because they forget, every time I have asked for them to follow up with me, they have! They Truly are an amazing company and I would recommend anyone to go there!

Great locally owned store. Very helpful employees. Great experience! Walked in for a pair of Chacos for my son and left with a pair for my wife and I as well. Had to return to make an exchange with no hassles. We’ll be back!!

I just went in to get buy a hydroflask and the workers literally hover over you like bats so I wont be going back unless theres new employees but the store is nice!

This is honestly the friendliest sales lady weve ever met. we bought two pairs of chacos. one for my wife and one for our daughter. Had a lot of variety, and she knew everything there was to know about them. Very knowledgable on their shoes. Great job and thanks so much

This store is pretty much a glorified REI or whole earth. With half the selection, and none of the benefits of shopping at the other two. Staff was constantly hovering, and with how tiny the store is it made me feel uncomfortable. If you like small stores with limited selection this is the place for you. Otherwise Im sure you could find your stuff else where to really get your moneys worth.

One of my favorite stores to shop... until I visited the new location. I was beyond disappointed to see how much had changed. The prev locations on E Hopkins & LBJ were large, bright & offered a huge selection of stylish preppy/outdoor wear. This storefront is small, dim & mostly mens apparel. Theres a cramped area in the back for shoes, kids & womens apparel AND dressing rooms. It also doesnt seem to carry several brands that it used to. It mimics its less appealing sister store in Gruene. Im so disappointed, I dont see a reason to ever go back.

Best kept retail secret of San marcos. If you think of yourself as an outdoor, hunting, fishing, or hiking bum, this place is for you! Great place to top your friends with the latest salt water apparel.
