Went to get my phone service reactivated for being turned off for an extended period of time and purchase some devices. Dayana and her staff were very helpful and accommodating. With only 3 staff members to work the whole store, they simultaneously assisted appointments and walk-ins who needed help, Dayana and her staff did not miss a beat and were able to assist myself and any customer that visited the store. I would highly recommend visiting this store, they were very patient and respectful, I will be visiting this store again for all my Verizon needs.

Customer service was very poor. Even after scheduling an appointment the representative had little interest in assisting me. The representative was much more interested in in their phone than helping me. I would have thought that open a new line would be a simple request, but I left the store frustrated and unable to complete my request.
This was the best Verizon store I’ve ever been in. Steve was amazing, super helpful and patient. We were only in to upgrade a phone and it was the fastest, smoothest process ever. Thank you so much!
Annoying when they ignore you for 30 minutes and then finally ask you what you want. Maybe they should have some kind of ZOOM setup to get things accomplished better.
They told a 30 min wait but they could text me when Im next so I left the store and once I got the text went back was told I would have a 10in grace. Got there and my guy went on his break before the 10 min was up so I sat on the store for another 30 min for a 2 min fix
Waste of my day! Drove an hour to get here guy said they didnt have what I wanted and I should probably order it online! So I tried and they wont deliver to my PO box and I dont have mail delivery where I live! And in-store pickup will only hold for 3 days. So I would have to take a day off work to come back. Like I said waste of my day.
Update 4/13/21I went in to pay my Verizon bill for my small business account and register for the Verizon app for small business. I worked with Johnny who apparently is the store manager and this gentleman was very patient and friendly. I was more than pleased with his service even though we werent able to get my needs met at this time. He worked diligent and patiently to help me, even though we were hitting problems with the online system. This is the type of customer support I expect from any business and Johnny went above and beyond to try to help me. I am raising my original 3 star review to 5 stars based solely off the service Johnny provided.The sales rep was not very friendly or informative. He would answer my yes or no questions, but thats about it. I was considering switching phone carriers and actually walked out keeping the one Im currently using because if I do switch, Ill most likely just go to a different location.
We have been Verizon customers forever, went in to change a couple of things on our plan and purchase a new phone for our son. Chris assisted us but I hit the wrong tab on my phone (when ordering the new one online); he dropped his head and shook it like he couldnt believe how incompetent I was. I gently reprimanded him; he said he was frustrated that I wasnt waiting for his instructions. I found him very condescending. At the end of our transaction, I asked his name and told him that he did not get to be visibly frustrated with older customers (Im 67) and that he showed poor customer service. He interrupted me and started to defend himself. I just retired from customer service and I know poor service when I experience it. He was probably just having a bad day but I left the store annoyed. Hes lucky he got me and not my dyslexic husband, who would have really sent him off the deep end!
Deon was the rep that was completely unhelpful. Im an excellent customer, 6 years never been late. I came in with a cracked screen for the first time ever. Deon never went out of his way in my 10 minute conversation. I was made to feel under valued or respected. Save your time and go to another store, dont go to the San Marcos store.
Incomprehensibly poor customer service. There is only 1 customer service representative that cares about his job at this location, all of the rest, including the manager, have no interest in listening, in my experience. I listen carefully, and notice when people say contradictory things. Saying random (often contradictory) things without solid understanding seems to be commonplace here. All I am trying to do when I come into the store is solve an issue that has emerged that is preventing me from using the service properly. Unfortunately there has been several issues, including a recall that Ive had to deal with. I really cant tell for sure, but imo there are multiple representatives at this store (and even the manager) that seem to be either very inexperienced with customer service, or abnormally rude for a customer facing job. Sure, perfectly fine pleasantries can be exchanged before we get to the meat of the issue, but pejorative and dismissive behavior in the midst of helping a customer solve an issue isnt part of the job. Then having your manager continue the gaslighting was a bit egregious. The last time I felt this gaslit in the midst of a perfectly straightforward customer service experience was at Wells Fargo many years ago, when they literally opened multiple accounts in my name without my permission and then gaslit me into thinking I verbally oked it during my meeting with the banker. I only found out later that this was standard practice at Wells Fargo. Not sure what is going on at Verizon, but cant say my customer service experience is remotely this bad at Tmobile. The first time I came in to this store an older gentleman waiting in line spent the whole time complaining about the customer service at the store was horrendous. Luckily, that wasnt my experience the first time I came in. The subsequent times were the issue.
Ive been at this store many times and honestly my experiences have been very pleasant. I dont take time to write either good or bad reviews but after reading the bad reviews from here and compare it to my experiences at this store I hope this can help their reviews overall. All staff members have been very nice and communicated well, specially during these Covid times and all the restrictions going on.
Alright, time for my review. Ive had a few different carriers in the past and Verizon beats them all. Had them for several years now and have always been happy. My most recent comparison in services was Verizon vs. Sprint.(I had a cell for each carrier) Verizons service was far better and prices werent really different.I reached out to this location as it is owned by the manufacturer (not an authorized retailer).Spoke to a few reps there, who all were helpful, but Mona was by far the best (purely my opinion of course). She was knowledgeable, respectful, gave me recommendations based off what I needed/looking for and not just to make a sale.I ended up convincing my company to switch over from their current provider (Sprint) to Verizon.They were super helpful, very patient, and worked with us to get us what we needed.Thanks guys!!
When I pay $900 for a phone I expect the phone to work when I leave the store, not an employee giving the the box on the sidewalk telling me its set up and spending hours trying to activate it or reach someone who can help me get activated. Seriously??? What kind of customer service is this?

I understand that a lot of people face challenges with companies, especially when they are paying for services.A company is only as successful as their customers are happy. This is true across ALL businesses.There are no bad companies, only bad employees. None of the employees at this location have failed me. Whatever these guys are doing, theyre doing it right.If I have a problem, they ask me whats wrong and what they can do to help. Its simple, efficient, and sincere. If the person helping me thinks they arent able to help me, they point me to someone who CAN. This location is awesome.
Mona is a Superstar. Always willing to help and goes beyond the name VERIZON. SHE IS VERIZON. After ten years of mobile service I found professionalism. She set the bar so high, even higher than any customers expection! God Bless Mona and Verizon 🙏
This has been one of my favorite stores in San Marcos, but due to the current conditions the service is really become below expectations, in my opinion. Everything is done online and theres not enough people in the storeto spend any time going over options or checking inventory, I placed an order online and its taking more than a half a day to pick it up, this has to change!

For 15 years, Verizon has provided CONSISTENT customer service. Box stores may provide quick buy & leave services, but for service AND account protection, Verizon corporate stores never disappoint.

I have been a Verizon customer for a very long time. As my kids have gotten older, they have been given cell phones. We had a data issue most months that left me paying overage charges. I went to this store to see what I could do to mitigate the monthly data overages. The sales rep was understanding and sold me on the go unlimited plan, a plan that I qualified for due to my military service. I felt like I was taken care of, until I tried to use my phone. I couldnt even load Google, my data speeds had come to a crawl. My phone has been reduced to making phone calls and texting, I feel like it is 2002 again. Verizon should be ashamed of this service, they market it as a salute to troops but it is terrible. Go unlimited is not what they make it out to be. If this problem isnt resolved, I may have to change carriers. Verizon is a much better company than this plan shows. I have paid the higher service charges due to their impeccable wireless service. Now that that service has been compromised, there is nothing keeping me paying these high prices when their competitors are so reasonably priced.
Corporate store. So you are dealing directly with Verizon. Not a third party vendor. Thats better for you. Direct keeps you in control of your Verizon service. Staff were nice. Time spent was better than most in regards to setup and getting everything up and running. No high pressure on sales.
This place seriously needs lessons on professional customer service. Many of the agents at this location are rude and try to get you to pay more for a new phone rather then help you make adjustments to better your plan. I have had multiple agents try to get me to pay more for phones and forget to tell me they had sales or specials 🤔 so not very twisting when I go here that they have my BEST interest

So my phone took a dump, went into this store and the girl who was helping was nice. However, there was another guy working there raising his voice to an elderly man. Everyone kept looking over because of how rude he was. I now understand why all the other comments on here were bad. *Now onto the phone. The second she saw that i had an upgrade and unlimited data, she said if you upgrade or sign a new contract your unlimited data is GONE! 100% I had the same problem 2 years ago when i first got the phone, but i knew there was a back door way of getting around this. So i called into Verizon and had some random dude help me go through the backdoor channels so i could get an upgrade, a new 2 year contract, and KEEP my unlimited data, no problems and VERY helpful. The new phone should be here today. Ill never go into another Verizon store. Call in, theyre more helpful and arent looking to play games with unlimited contracts.
Visited the store to get a Samsung Gear S smart watch. The service reps were very helpful and pleasant. Not sure why others have been bad mouthing this store. i have been going there for 2+ years and they have always been extremely professional. These other reviewers must just enjoy being mean.
Verizon has really stepped up its game. The last time I was there before this current visit took forever. I was there three and a half hours the last time.This time I was in and out with the new phone I wanted a better plan that saves me money in less than 30 minutes.I dont care what people say about Verizon, they have always been good to me regardless of what was going on.They are keepers for sure, thank you again Verizon.

Wanted to activate my new phone. Literally waited an hot before I was helped. People who came in were helped before me. It was like a terrible doctors visit. Finally spoke to a worker, it took forever to activate the phone. Couldnt find info, their system was slow apparently. Workers finally got everything but only have me one option for my monthly plan. Literally just switched phone plan, company, actual phone. Everything was just bad. Good luck.

Experience was good when we got our service, but things were added to our bill we DID NOT ask for. Have gone to this location TWICE already to get those charges off and my service was suspended once again because they DID NOT fix those extra charges for me. I now have to go back and speak to the manager once again to have him fix it...very annoyed
Service was terrible. Waited for over an hour to get a rep and when finally it was my turn up was told there was nothing the store could do to help. Why the hell didnt the greeter just tell me that up front? He told me they could help me out. Makes me question the premium price I pay for what I thought was superior customer service.
Apparently, they wont let you test a phone. I started playing with my favorite device for at least 20 minutes and was starting to fall in love. However, I wasnt able to use the camera mod for the Moto z3, because they said. We dont want you using it. As an avid camera and photography buff, this feature was gonna swap the deal and I would have boughten the phone that day. I asked, Well how do I test it, to see its capabilities? The most unprofessional customer service representative Ive dealt with in the 12 years Ive been with Verizon said, You buy it. And he walked away. These arent cheap pieces of tech were buying. Phones these days cost up to $1000, that fit in your pocket, meanwhile, there are laptops even cheaper than cellphones. Im allowed to test drive a $50,000 Lexus but I cant check out a $200 camera mod. So very disappointed at the team there.

I had to wait 30 minutes before getting a rep to help me. Turns out I needed a new phone. They dont transfer your old phone to your new phone anymore. Gave me a piece of paper with instructions how to do it at home. It didnt work.
Pretty good store and the best wireless provider of coverage I have found.
Had to return to pay what they called a partial bill after two weeks before they said it was a zero balance. Very frustrating.

I went here with my wife because we both were due for upgrades. We owned both of our phones and wanted to purchase new ones with our upgrade rather than pay for our phones monthly. I explained all this to the rep and he said they only did the month per month option now for upgrades. Not only that, but he said we needed to turn in our old phones in order to upgrade. My wifes phone screen was cracked and he said wed need to pay $400+ on top of the upgrade because of this. This made no sense; why would I turn in the old phone I owned in order to upgrade? I asked for the manager and of course there was no one that could help.I went to the Verizon off of Nordahl and we received our upgraded phones AND we got to keep our old phones. Go figure! I explained to the rep what had just happened at the other location and he was shocked too.I recommend going to the Nordahl location because they know what theyre doing and theyre actually professional over there. Never again will I go here, its worth the extra 10 minute drive to go to another location.
One of the sales reps lied to me and tried to get me in a 2-year payment plan. When I go back the next day to confront the manager about the situation. All she had to say is shes new and doesnt know......then why the hell is she working as a sales rep if she doesnt know how to do her job and give accurate information. I asked for a refund which I paid 1300 cash for the iPhone I bought and I still havent received it back into my account! This is day 2! When they told me in the store it was going to be back into my account immediately. Abunch of lairs, all of them!

I called in today to get help since my phone stopped working after owning for 4 days. The customer Service Representative was extremely rude, wouldnt give the phone to a manager, said no one could speak with me because they were all busy, and stated that I wouldnt make an appointment until 5:00 pm. Gave me zero solutions. I would not recommend this store or this representative ever. You are better off going to the GoVerizon store in San Marcos. Extremely dissatisfied.
Verizon just sucks. Phone charges like garbage, iPhone battery won’t hold a charge, and there’s nothing they can do to help. Basically, worthless. Looking forward to switching to someone else when contract runs out. Super frustrated and got zero help at the store. Ugh.

First time visiting this Verizon store and definitely my last I tell the guy thats helping me Randy is his name Im having troubles with my phone about 3 or 4 minutes in my call my phone Powers off. So the smart guy says here call the 800 number so they can remotely go into my phone and diagnose it. IPods for a minute looking at him waiting for him to smile thinking this is a joke right he then tells me option b I can sell you a new phone. Extremely rude and unhelpful totally disregarded me as a customer
Nice clean store...staff member very helpful...no hard sell...we will do our research then return to get new phones...one thing the store was pretty empty of customers... which was unusual...then we realized it was Sunday the day before Memorial day

Easily the worst Verizon store Ive ever been to. Anyone who goes to any Verizon store knows that its usually not a great experience, but my oh my did the incompetent employees of this Verizon store shatter the floor of my already very low expectations.The reps have no customer service skills at all. And their access to customer accounts is basically the exact same thing you get on Verizons website. They cant do anything that you cant already do.These peoples inability to take ownership of a problem, or even PRETEND to give the slightest care about customers is ridiculous.

This place should not be in be in business. The ethics and morals of the employees is ridiculous! They lie to make an extra buck and be careful- if they ask you to resign something saying oh it didnt go through can you please resign RUN!!! Thats their way of having you sign something you shouldnt. The employees are commission based and trust me, their commission outweighs them doing the right thing.
I knew what I wanted before I arrived, but they were trying to force extras on me. When i declined additional coverage, the girl had to get the manager to allow me to do so, like its their choice. Terrible customer service. They didnt offer to help me transfer my phone content over. They said to do it myself.
Horrible service ...after waiting 20 mins to purchase screen covers an employee told me matter of factly I had only waited 10 mins like my time dont matter ..after getting angry waiting behind people setting up services on phones when 10 mins should of been enough time to pay for what I needed ..That poor manager calmed the situation, and I left happy after 40 mins for 2 screen covers..please hire people for this store that actually like thier job ..the manager needs a team that works with her ..i watched at least 6 other people walk out as well ...And this poor manager deserves not only a raise but more support .boo Verizon boo
The woman that helped me yesterday was absolutely wonderful! Unfortunately, I cant remember her name.... *sigh* Fair complex, medium length curled blonde hair with her bangs swept to the side and pinned back, about 55. Well anyway, she was very attentive, helpful and kind. Im used to pushy, rushed and cranky and she was the complete opposite. I was there for a good 2 hours trying to get the account all situated, adding lines, switching all of my apps and data over from my old phone to my new one and such and I walked out of the store with a new Samsung Galaxy S6 and a smile on my face.Service was excellent, however, I will be returning back to the store today because my brand spanking new S6 began rebooting itself repeatedly (during a Software Update) and after having another Verizon store check it out (they were all very kind as well - Escondido location on Center City Parkway), they stated that the phone was unable to be rebooted or even repaired and that I would need a replacement and they called it bricked :(
Associates were very patient with my boyfriend while he made his final decision on a new phone. We never felt rushed to pick an expensive phone just because of the price.

Evidently they quit doing a whole bunch of things at the corporate office and I have to call some number to the Loyalty division to do anything to my account so I was not very happy especially when Im paying $150 a month and I cant even get enough signal to do what I need to do.
Horrible customer service, I got the feeling they could careless about my business. Good thing I am on the hook for another year or id take my business elsewhere.
