I love this university. We have amazing views, great weather, renowned faculty and lecturers. The vibe is great! Friendly staff, lively athmosphere.

The pictures shown arent of the bookstore, thats the USU building (University Student Union). The pictures show the 4th (top) level, which includes restaurants and nice places to sit. The USU also has college offices in it, including the Dean Office, many student organization rooms, several meeting rooms, a ballroom, and an amphitheater. A really good looking building overall. Very clean, well maintained, and a great place to be at.

Great place to start off your career

Very well organized. Books were easy to find and customer service was excellent. Representatives are always offering their assistance as you walk in the door. very helpful

Easy in and fast customer service

The experience is quite strange. Picking up books requires you walk all the way to the back left corner of the store. The front usually gets packed full of people trying to return books or buy them. Although slightly unorganized in that manner, finding the book you need it easier. It is also easy to distinguish rentals from full priced and used books when searching on the shelves. Employees are friendly, but some are inexperienced and didn’t quite have the knowledge to help me obtain my rentals. In general, someone will eventually help you.

It was well organized and the staff was very helpful. However the wait to purchase/checkout was very long and it took a long time for me to make my purchases due to a slow network and system and inexperienced staff. It was also VERY crowded.

I have a really good friend and neighbor who goes to Cal State San Marcos, so I always love visiting her and hanging out here! Great memories! CSUSM is amazing!!

The bookstore posted the textbooks required for all of my classes, but failed to specify which version we needed. After classes started, the bookstore refused to give me a a refund on my textbooks after my professor said that we needed different versions than what was listed on the bookstore website. The bookstore will only offer a full refund if your professor speaks to the course materials manager directly. Unfortunately the textbooks I needed to return were only found at the CSUSM bookstore. If I can help it, I wont be ordering books from them again.

Great professors - I was part of the Extended Learning Department and took the six-course behavior series. The professors were very accessible and the staff in most departments were eager to help and pleasant.

So many stairs! The new buildings are great. The old buildings were designed by a guy that used to design prisons and you can definitely tell.

Outstanding level of professionalism from both staff and students. Clean University and Im excited to see how well it works out.

You can get used or brand new academic books. Plus you can buy all your studying equipment for good price.

Took a tour as a Parent. All looks good. Excited for my son to attend this school.

The college is decent. But the students running tours need some etiquette lessons. And dont tell people to park in a specific parking lot without explaining that the parking kiosks are limited to only one in the very corner of the lot. Impossible to see unless you first drive the entire lot searching for it. :-/ was Not happy when we arrived a lil late due to accident on freeway. Wasnt expecting a full on tour when we were late, but also wasnt expecting to get ticketed when we parked where we were told to park and couldnt see the parking kiosk. Wasnt even there for 20 minutes.

I have one son who graduated from here in 2018 and another one who is on track to graduate in 2020. Im only giving three stars based on the experience my wife and I have had with the staff and our kids experience through their time at the school.
