Yes they get your car fixed in whatever way needed but they also provide some drinks for you, they provide car service, they give you advice for yourself or your car. I love Centric because of their attention to detail on and off the mechanics shop floor. Not only was I asked if I would like to keep the parts they replaced but also offered a cold beverage, coffee and a charging port and cable unique to my phone while I waited for repairs they fit the work in just before close. I was a first time patron and don’t live near their shop but hope to be close next time anything needs to be repaired on any of my vehicles.Also the Owner’s car was amazing and is a show stopping dynamo that took everyone’s breath away who was around and hadn’t seen it before. His Wife was kind and strait forward about the work being done and billing and they were all around professionals whom I strenuously recommend to any and all in a 100 mile radius of their shop. If they can’t do it I can just about guarantee they will know the person that can when it comes to customs.

I was recommended by AAA to Centric Auto Repair and agreed to use their services. Victor greeted me and we got straight to the point about the problems of my vehicle. From then he offered assistance in providing me with a car rental in which Centric Auto would help for the first day. As Im contemplating my next move Im really starting to notice the cleanliness and organization of the shop in addition to Victors initial service and introduction on how Centric Auto conducts business with transparency and so the shop and the customer are always on the same page. Ive worked in the Hospitality industry for over 25 years and the service that I experienced here was comparable to the best service Ive received or offered as customer or a service team member in a fine dining establishment. The final pricing and the work done on my vehicle were fair and excellent along with a 3 year warranty on parts with all details clearly stated on the work order receipt. Thats the type of service I can trust and pay no problem. This is a What you see is what you get type of shop and I would recommend them to anyone. Very pricey. My suv was towed here on recommendation of the driver after the clutch master cylinder went out, simple fix. I ended up being quoted $400 for the repair (originally over $500).I decided to just have it towed home instead but they still charged me $150 for the diagnosis which any competent mechanic could have eyeballed in 2 minutes (not to mention I literally told them its one of the clutch cylinders).$50 to $75 for the trouble sure, but $150 is just too steep.On the positive side, staff was communicative and professional over the phone.

Victor and his Team are the absolute best auto repair shop in North County. I was able to drop my car off and the next morning everything was taken care of right away. Pricing is realistic and its nice to know that your car is being taken care my an awesome set of mechanics. If you have a CarMax warranty this is the place to go. I’ve taken my car there several times and every time they managed to fix my car free with the warranty and provide a rental car the whole time.They even gave me a brand new transmission when mine broke totally covered by the warranty. When they replaced my control arms, there was a grinding sound when I got it back, called them to tell them about it and they had me bring it back even while they were closed to fix the problem.Thank you Centric Auto, you have been super awesome and professional, I cannot recommend their shop enough.

As a woman it’s hard to find a mechanic that you can trust. Victor is honest, direct, and does his very best to work with you. He takes the time to explain things in a way that you can understand, and has never been pushy, condescending, or recommended unnecessary repairs.His wife, Theresa, also works there, and they make a great team! They have always been polite, professional, and welcoming. All of their work is under warranty for 3-5 years! Good luck trying to find someone better than Centric Auto!

I took my car into these guys to get my rotors and brake pads replaced. The people at the front desk are nice and helpful, and they’ll give you a free rental car while your car is getting fixed. The charge for replacing my rear brake pads and rotors was $460. That was whatever. But then they say my lower control arms were broken ( and wanted to charge $950) with a bunch of other stuff. After they said that, i took my car to a family mechanic to have him look at it to double check if what they were saying was true. Centric was lying when they said the lower control arms were broken. There was nothing wrong with them. They said it was the reason my car was shaking on idle, turns out it wasn’t. It was my heater hoses that were leaking into the engine which was messing up stuff, thus the shaking on my car. Giving 2 star due to nice service but also being mix match during the entire vehicle inspection.

Victor was honest about repairs, he kept me informed of each detail, he was professional in our conversation. I really felt like I could trust him.

Went to Centric for a Repair Pal warranty service (related to CarMaxs warranty service) as well as a routine inspection. They worked quickly, fixed the warranty-related problem, and even washed my car! Ill definitely be going back for my next service!

Finally found some that fixed the electrical issue

I recently had to bring my truck in to Centric for repair. This was my first time using Centric as my repair shop and I was a little nervous taking it in to a new place. I was extremely happy with the service I received from start to finish. They were very upfront about what needed to be done and communicated with me early about any additional work that needed to be done. Before I even finished checking in my truck, they had already called enterprise to come pick me up and get me set up for a rental. When I picked the truck, not only was it running much better but it cleaned extremely well. The wheels were probably polished more than when I first got the truck. This will definitely be my go to shop in the future.

This is FINALLY a mechanic I can trust! I am so impressed with Centric Auto! Everyone there is extremely polite, professional, and personable. They promptly gave me a quote with pictures. This is so important to me. As a woman, I feel like it is easy to be scammed by mechanics. I do not feel that way at Centric. They were excellent about answering questions and never a hint of being condescending. They go out of their way to provide an Uber/Lyft ride to get me to where I need to since I was without a vehicle. My car was even cleaned when I picked it up. I cannot rave enough about their customer service and for going the extra mile for their customers. I will tell everyone I know that this is the only place to go!!!

Honest, reliable and ethical. sadly, one cannot always find that in an auto shop but you can most definitely count on Victor making sure that things are done right. When we initially brought my out back here, they could not find the exact issue and without theyre being certain conditions, the initial fix didnt work. I brought it back and was never given a hard time and it was fixed. I like the fact that I dont have to hassle with the warranty company or the rental agency, they handled everything.

I love this place. I was looking at a major repair with a high degree of uncertainty of cost and end results. Victor gave me an honest straight forward assessment and let me make the final decision on which way to proceed with no sales pressure what so ever. Words cannot express how satisfied I feel about the standard of care I have experienced since I discovered Centric, once my hybrid battery started wearing out. After being with a great auto shop for nearly 8 years down in SD my car decides to over heat outside of Centric and although I was getting it towed to my regular guys Victor the owner still came over and asked to look at it. He was absolutely amazing showing me what had happened and what he could see, I mean really. Needless to say I asked him to take care of it and the next day decided that I was going to buy a new car and asked him to diagnose that one as well. He did that and was very thorough with me about his findings. I decided to buy it. This is a family run operation and they are wonderful! Victor went beyond the call of duty and spent time researching extended warranties and finding someone to buy my car! Who does that!!?? I mean I paid less than $70 to Centric and had only happen to end up there the day before. I was absolutely 100% treated like family! Victor is an honest, thorough and genuinely caring individual. He won my business for sure!! I hope I dont have to take my new/used car there anytime soon.. but believe me Centric will absolutely be a go-to for me! Its hard to find mechanics you can trust but I found one! Also his wife is equally kind. Everyone should give Centric a shot but Ladies trust me you want Centric to be your mechanic!

Victor is a great guy. If you ask him questions hell be honest with you. I go here because they will make sure you either get to where you need to go (work) via uber or theyll get you a rental car. Huge help for most of us who work 8-5 jobs. Cost isnt the cheapest, but you get quality work and with the convenience factor, its the way to go.

WOW! that is what I have to say about Centric Auto Repair. They diagnosed and fixed the problem with my vehicle in less than 24 hours AND they returned the truck cleaner than we brought it in. How many mechanics do you know that add that extra touch to wash AND vacuum after the repair? If that is not above and beyond and worthy of a 5 star review, I dont know what is. Overall, great, friendly service, and I highly recommend.

I wont be going back to this place. I was quoted one thing, and the cause of my concern ended up being something else. Called in just to be told they need more time with the care. Once I got my car back it was leaking antifreeze, when I called to address this I was met with hostility. The repair that was performed wouldve been covered by my warranty. Centric, an approved warranty servicing provider failed to bring it to my attention and just charged me for the repair our right.

Centric Auto RepairI called and asked if they could repair the hydraulics on my convertible that were leaking. The answer was a resounding yes, bring it in for an estimate. They were very nice, I left the car for a few days. When I returned, not only was the car not fixed because they could not find the parts; but the convertible top no longer worked at all. So my car was not fixed, was in worse condition than when I left it, they could not find the parts, and I was charged for, well I am not sure what, but I did pay the bill.I spent less than 45 minutes searching the web, and found all the parts needed to make the repairs. So now that I know where to get the parts, I will see if another business can actually repair what is now no longer working.

Centric Auto Repair is a great local shop. I live in Las Vegas and was visiting family for the holidays. A friend of mine recommended the shop and I wanted to get an oil change and have the fluids checked before I went back home. Victor greeted me and said my car would be ready shortly. I went to get some things at a store while I was waiting and he called me too let me know that he recommends I get my break pads replaced. I knew they were low and had just put it off. Its nice to go to a shop where they are honest and professional. I never felt like I was being ripped off.

Asked me to pay 350 for oil change and air fliter. It cannot be that expensive...I was a mechanic before..

In my opinion they are absolute scammers who will openly lie to you about their warranty and what work they intend to carry out. I feel completely misled. They charged us $1600 for a battery replacement and only after the work was done did they say that they had actually only refurbished two cells and their three year warranty only covered those cells, not the whole battery. Avoid at all costs, as it is my firm belief that they will lie to your face and say anything they need to get your money, and then cut you loose.

The prices drew me in, the above and beyond customer service I personally recieved, has guaranteed them a spot in my car repair.I cant say enough. I highly recommend Centric Auto Repair👍

Owner Victor and the Centric Auto mechanics are a great help to my family for all of our auto care care needs. They are the North County needle in the haystack of auto repair establishments.

When I first took my car in this was shortly after getting an estimate at the Ford Dealership. The shop location is located not even a block from where I work so the convenience was worth exploring. Fords estimate was quite expensive. Ive used Snap finance lending a few times and Centric was on their list. I dropped my car off and gave them my estimate from Ford Dealership and I declined their diagnostic so they went based on Ford Dealerships info. I got an estimate and gave the go ahead. I received a call from the shop that the repair was nothing more than a mount which lowered the cost of my repair but they had to keep my car over night. This shop called an Uber for me on their expense to drive me to work in the morning. I had never received this type of accommodation before. I took my car in months later to fix another problem that I was already aware of. The mounts on my engine need replacing which is causes my engine to rattle. Victor and Theresa called Enterprise car rental on their expense to rent me a car for a day or two. Upon returning the rental to Enterprise I replaced the gas I used and Enterprise dropped me off to pick up my vehicle. I love Centric! I trust their business and I have been accomodated each time. I lile Snap finance because I can pay off the loan within 3 months without paying interest and if I need the loan extended for another 30 days for a fee of $50 its worth it. I have used Snap 4 times total and auto repairs can add up. I will recommend Centric to absolutely anyone! Excellent business ethics!!! M.Branche
