I will not take any of my cars anywhere else! The car looked just like new you couldn’t tell it was ever hit. This is the second time in a year I’ve needed body work due to flying objects on the highway. I’m about to take my daughters car for body work and I’ve recommended AMM and Clint to everyone of my friends! Clint communicated everything in a timely manner. The service was outstanding. It was completed before I expected it. The knowledge, professional attitude and customer service is second to none!

I had to bring my truck in for major hail damage and Taylor made this unfortunate experience absolutely wonderful. He worked his butt off to make sure my truck was done right and in the shortest possible time. He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied, and I definitely was. Also, every time I came in to the office, or had to call in, Nicole made me feel like I was truly important and that AMM had my back. Both of these employees deserve raises. I have full faith and confidence in AMM and they will always be my go-to repair company.

They did an excellent job of making the repairs to my vehicle and they were completed on time as promised.

AMM is great. We used them for small amount of damage however it looks brand new. Took 24hrs and we were notified of everything along the way. Will do business with them in the future if needed. Highly recommend.

Took my car here for hail damage repair. 5k in damages, every panel had at least one dent. New hood and trunk, had to do paint. Car looked better than when I got it. Also when I bought the car it had some bad repair work done previously, the shop went above and beyond, they corrected the paint in that area. It looks brand new. I was blown away by what they did for me. Thank you very much! Zach kept me in the loop as well!

Dessert zero Stars. If their customer service their front desk staff is an example and a reflection on what they do in the back Im glad my car is not going to the. Since when does the receptionist attempt to do in an evaluation of damage. #BadBusiness... A follow up after giving a run around of when my vehicle would be evaluated. Had my vehicle repaired at this location and the work done was nice. My reason for two stars is the poor customer service. I never received any updates about my vehicle even when it was past the estimated completion date. To get an update I had to call the shop myself. Also when my vehicle was “completed” I was missing some clips and fasteners on some body trim. That they assured me would have shipped to shop in a couple of days and they would call me when it arrived. Never received any call and when I called them back they didn’t know what I was talking about. Also the hood they placed on my vehicle is missing the Jeep emblem. Although the work was good my vehicle wasn’t completed 100% and customer service is poor. I wouldn’t recommend to a friend or return.

Car extensively repaired after hail damage. The hood and entire roof had to be replaced. Zach was very helpful and kept us informed. Total insurance cost was $8,000.

Ive used them several times in the past. They may not be the cheapest option, but it is worth the money to have a reputable business with a lifetime warranty on repairs. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

Very unprofessional. If you value the contents of your vehicle DO NOT trust them. They promised to notify us when a car we had them inspect for insurance was complete so we could retrieve valuables. We stop by to pick them up and guess what, no car, GONE! With our belongings inside, no apology or attempt to locate! Very disappointed with their unprofessional attitude and lack of committment to customer service. Less than 1 star!

AMM Collision Center – San MarcosWe took our 2010 Toyota Tundra to the shop in February of this year. We have been working with their estimator Clint Craven. The initial drop off process was easy enough. The only reason we didn’t give a 1 star rating is because the body and paint work were completed with no issues. The problems we had with the shop were all because of the back glass replacement. There was no damage to the back glass on our truck when we took it in, but during the repairs they accidentally broke it. They then replaced our Toyota OEM back glass with an aftermarket glass, and that is where all the problems began. Our back glass was limo tinted and they completely missed that. When they told us our truck was ready, we then asked about the tint on the back window and they acted like no additional tint was needed. After continued requests from us, they checked again and agreed that the replacement glass was not limo tint like we had, and they finally had someone tint the glass.The day we picked up our truck, we then noticed that something seemed wrong with how the back glass was installed and brought it back to the shop so Clint could review it. He told us it was installed fine and nothing could be done. Just yesterday we had a very heavy rain storm and the back window began to leak. A lot of water got in and soaked the upholstery. We took the truck back to the shop to have them fix the window, and then dry and clean the upholstery. They dropped our truck off to us later that afternoon with the window supposedly fixed and the interior dry. The upholstery was still soaking wet. It was literally still dripping. They did nothing to dry the interior. When we mentioned this to them, they said to bring it back the next day so they could dry it more. We decided it would be best to dry it ourselves at home since they already had a chance to dry it and didn’t do it.

I had a bad car accident in Austin on August 1, 2020. I am not from the area, so I had no clue where to send my car for potential work. My insurance told me the car could be repaired (I was shocked but...its insurance, how do you argue?) and they needed to know where to send it. They recommended AMM Collision in San Marcos. Once the car got there, Dustin called me and gave me a list of damages basically giving his professional opinion that while the car COULD be repaired, it would be an awfully expensive job. He immediately sent photos and an evaluation to my insurance who then decided to declare my car a total loss. I had to speak to Dustin on the phone several times - he was kind, courteous, and empathetic. I was nervous because I live so far away. I thought I may be taken advantage of. I mean, here was a potential HUGE job where lots of money could be made, but no! He was honest and evaluated it with nothing but integrity. He called me back every time he said he would and worked as quickly as possible to help me get my claim resolved. If I lived near there and needed body work, I have no doubt THIS is the place to take your car!

The best body shop in Central Texas

I took my car here for some minor scratches on the clear coat which was very unsightly. Within an hour all those scratches had disappeared without a trace. The guys at AMM Collision are true wizards of their profession. While there I got a mini tour of their operation and was thoroughly impressed at their facility. Top notch operation most definitely!!

Vehicle was ready early, and the repairs were excellent. I would use them again without hesitation.

I was very pleased with the quality of work and service provided at AMM Collision. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, as well as Cliff who handled the repairs to my vehicle. My vehicle had a decent amount of damage to the front end, but repairs were completed within a week and it looks great! I wouldnt hesitate to bring my vehicle here again if I have the misfortune to need repairs.

Wholly Cow Batman... AMM guides me through the repairs after being 1 of 4 cars hit by a hot and run driver whose car was caught. My customers, neighbors, friends, spouse and myself were all shocked how Quick the repairs were completed. Less than 4days. I honestly expected 3-5 weeks based on 3 previous body shop experiences. AMM handled everything once they shared their experiences about other insurance company involved. I look forward to any body work my future vehicles may require in the future. A friend in Houston had me send her their contact info in case their son’s car in Austin needs work.

I took my sons car here after he was involved in a rear end collision. I made arrangements to leave the car over the weekend and Clint advised that he would have the car torn down and an estimate by Monday afternoon. Clint was good to his word and let me know that my car would most likely be totaled by the insurance. This gave me the opportunity to start shopping for a new one well before insurance let me know it was totaled.After working with the insurance they allowed me to remove an after market radio I had I installed. I offered to pay the shop to remove it and Clint would not allow me to pay and said that he would remove it for me. Clint continuously went above and beyond to make this as good of as an experience as it could be. He always took my calls and/or called me back when he said he would.I would highly recommend AMM San Marcos if you are in need of a body shop. Thanks Clinton!

We had the absolute worst experience with this company. At first we were told the repairs would only take a week. Two months later and several calls to them with no return calls we finally got the car back. After being told it was done the first time and an inspection over the vehicle it was not. The vehicle was missing the antenna and the front side passenger door had loose wires inside of the panel which made the door rattle when closing it.We were also made aware at this point that they used all used parts in the repairs. A week later we had to call them once again to see if those issues were complete. Second attempt to pick up vehicle closed the passenger front door and the window in the passenger backseat completely fell down. There shouldve been communication from them without us having to constantly call and an overall service double check before the customer shows up. This was definitely not a good first impression!

I brought my truck in on a Thursday for hail damage repair and it was finished by Monday. The truck looks brand new. Dustin, the manager, worked with me on my deductible and saved me a fortune! The receptionist is great but the mechanic is rude. After my truck was towed in from hitting a deer he called and was instantly rude about why it was towed and I didnt just drive it. After telling him it doesnt turn left he proceeded to ask me what I thought was wrong with it as if I was a mechanic. Then he didnt even want to assess the damage that occurred to the back end after the deer came out from under my truck. He was extremely snooty about it and I had to have the insurance company call to tell him to assess the whole truck from the damage. Thankfully my insurance company held me find a collision center with better customer service.

Excellent service and great communication. It took a while to get all of the parts we needed, but with only one exception they maintained communication throughout the process and did a great job.

I had a wonderful experience today because I was helped so efficiently. These guys fixed my car and now it is all better. They are terrific, especially Jacob, Nicole, and Chase. They helped me and it didnt take long a all!

Fast and effective. I noticed an area on my bumper that just loved dirt for a while. The car would clean but that one area would just grab anything out of the air it could but that went away after a few washes.

This is the second time we used AAM Collision and we have been VERY satisfied both times. We do not live in San Marcos and there are places we could go to in New Braunfels, but after the first collision our insurance sent us to them. We went back this time because we trusted their work. They do a great job, are very friendly and courteous and are very detailed in explaining everything. They are also very good about keeping you up to date and they never act put out by you calling with any questions. I highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed.

After a series of unfortunate events that put my car in the body shop twice in less than a month I would never use another body shop in the area!! AMM collisions work was spot on even going the extra step to vacuum out some of the broken glass from my car! Sam communicated very well every step of the way and I never felt like I was in the dark on the status of my repairs. AWESOME body repair work AWESOME customer service on all levels!

Honestly doesn’t see how this place has five stars I feel like maybe relatives are giving them reviews the lady at the front desk seems like she does not like black people. Also my car was there for an extra 3 days due to my information being sent to the wrong insurance company. I had to call numerous times to get updates on my car because they never updated me on further damage this was the worst experience. Although my car looks good as new I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone they don’t communicate well and are very unprofessional.

I dont have much experience with insurance and body repair. But i will say that they handled everything quickly. All the paperwork filing with GEICO!! My baby came back look brand new washed, vacuum and fixed up like new. We got in a accident the front end and radiator we damage. But she sure looks pretty now...strutting in my shiny soccer mom van!!

My insurance company selected AMM Collision after I was involved in a 6 car pileup. Having dealt with them thru that repair, I wouldnt go anywhere else. I am extremely impressed with the care and concern of all the employees of AMM to meet or exceed customer satisfaction. Sam kept me informed at every step of the repair and the repairs were the best I have ever seen. Going the extra step, 4 weeks after my repairs a tail light went out. Knowing I had a lifetime warrantee on workmanship, I brought my vehicle in and the bulbs were replaced without question. I was told that the paint baking can weaken the filament bond of the bulb, and the work was performed free of charge. Months later, when another car door scrapped my door, leaving paint over a wide area, I took the car to AMM for an estimate. Javier buffed out the paint job in less than five minutes, Sam once again said, No. charge. So, no, I will not shop anywhere else for repairs.

Received my vehicle back and the repairs were unsatisfactory since everything wasn’t aligned properly, but that isn’t the biggest problem, since they didn’t inspect all damages thoroughly the inner radiator a couple weeks later blew out leaving me stranded out of state.. AMM has been a disappointing experience and should not be used as a “certified-shop”

Ive had to have them redo my car twice already.... not happy at all. I dont understand how the keep over looking things, especially after Ive point blank told them! I even have video of the guy trying to raise his voice as if hes the one that should be mad! What kind of rush half ass work are yall doing!
