I have a 1999 Ford F-250 4x4 that I took here after an front end collision. I finally felt like someone was on my team, and understood my lifted/custom off-road trucks value and how to fix it, not total it out. Super happy with all the work. They did axle work, lift kit work, transfer case, body work, paint, and it all came out great. Even a supplement issue with the insurance company was handled with my best interest. I’d recommend this shop for sure.

Ive had a few cars painted here and overall have been satisfied with the work. However, they are not a highly detailed shop for complete paint work and if youre looking for higher end quality this may not be the shop for you. The last car I brought to them I was told a price (no written quote) then asked for an additional $500 upon picking up the car citing more work than we thought. Not the way I like to do business. Shadi is a nice guy and is accommodating, however, his brother is unprofessional. If you use this shop get everything in writing up front and dont have overly high expectations.

This was a complete waste of an afternoon. Horrible personal skills. I don’t understand what the obsessive scratching of his face is about...Don’t bother with this place!

Recently I had some body work done on my 2011 Mazda6. I had a good amount of body damage as a result of rear ending another car. I only had liability coverage at the time, so my main goal was to find a repair shop that performed high quality work at affordable prices. I took my car to multiple places for quotes. AAC was the last place I took my car to, and they had the lowest quote by far. The owner Shadi was great. He was efficient, knowledgeable and wanted the best for his customers. He repaired small things here and there for free that other companies were trying to charge me for in other quotes. The repairs took over a week, but that was totally fine since I was told that from the beginning. My car looked as good as new, couldnt be more happy with the results. Overall Im VERY happy with the work that was done. I highly recommend Active Auto Collision.

Incredible. The most honest human being Ive ever come across, period. My wife backed into one of those poles at the gas station (she said she didnt hear beeping from proximity sensor!). It looked pretty scratched up. Since our vehicle is fairly new to us (we bought it in January), we wanted to keep it looking as new as it could for as long as we could so I went to a total of four shops to get estimates around San Marcos. The following are the quotes I received:- $275- $882.13 (pictured)- $688.74 (pictured)Crazy price ranges, right? Well apparently, my vehicles paint color is three-step which is apparently expensive and labor intensive. Some of the above shops talked about how they had to remove the bumper and paint all the way up the panel, up through the top of the door, blending into the top panel, and taking 3-4 days. I especially look fondly back at how some said they are working hard to reduce the cost as much as possible... by trying to buff out some of the scratches instead of doing a full paint job... man, i feel like a fool.Active Auto Collision is the last shop I went to. It was a might at well stop here shop since I visited mostly everyone else in the immediate area. I met with the gentleman behind the counter who assessed my scratch and told me he wanted to see if it was just a scuff. The man simply went into the garage, came back with a rag and some type of solvent, and proceeded to remove this scuff in front of my eyes. It was like nothing happened. I really wish I could have gotten his name, because he deserves all the praise possible, but I couldnt get over how much other shops wanted to charge me for something this gentleman did for free.I am incredibly impressed with Active Auto Collision. The gentleman didnt ask for any payment and wouldnt take any tip. He literally could have done what everyone else did and give me a quote for a couple hundred bucks for repainting the panel and bumper. Because I am so grateful for his service, I will do absolutely EVERYTHING in my power to promote this business. I have zero ties to this company, and receive zero financial interest for this review. I was on the verge of spending a lot of money for something that a rag, some solvent, and a honesty fixed. Customer services this outstanding needs to be highlighted and rewarded with the lions share of business in this highly competitive area.I give Active Auto Collision, particularly the gentleman who helped me, the highest rating I can possibly give. I will do everything in my ability to promote this business to show my gratitude!

I did very extensive research and sent over 15 quotes requests about the repair on my 2011 Jetta.Shadi was one of the first with the BEST price. While I asked a few more technical questions about metallic paint selection, he explained everything and I decided to go with them.When I got my car back, I couldnt find the spot where my half-inch deep dent was: the hood looks like the original.I am really happy and highly recommend them if you need any body work.

The paint work was the worst i have ever seen. there were runs texture and no clear coat. the second time they painted my car there were new dents and dings and broken mouldings and trim. Not to mention that they said the car couldnt be washed for 30 days thats why they gave it back FILTHY. the second paint job started blowing off in chunks as i drove the car around right after i washed it. the people told us that they werent going to go broke just to make us happy so here i am with a freshly painted 4runner that has a bunch of spots of bare metal. Dont ever ever ever trust this shop......... oh and did i mention they painted it twice and there was never any primer used? Bunch of clowns

I took my car there because their gave a fair price... Wrong decision!!!The paint was bad quality work plus color doesnt match .....now... I gotta pay a different body shop... I am really mad I waste my time and my money!!!
