Dan was excellent! I was in town for a short timeframe and had a problem with my BMW 1150 GS suspension. Not only was Dan very responsive but he went put of his way to quickly diagnose and fix my issue so I could complete my ride. He even adjusted my fuel lines for free and fixed a leak I’ve had for months. He is very knowledgeable about BMW (and other) bikes. And his prices are reasonable. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop.

This is the only place I bring my bikes for service. Great staff, Dan knows his stuff, and quick turn around 9 outta 10 times. Best bike mechanic in SLO and often charges less than the others. They have worked on just about every bike in my garage, from Hondas to yamahas, and never let me down.

These guys are the best!! They help me keep my bikes going. I just had tires done. They actually had what I wanted in stock. In and out mounted up in less then 45mins. Getting ready to take the side by side in next week. Thank you Iron Dan!!

I just got off the phone with one of the owners at Coast Riders and he CLEARLY was not interested in doing what I want done. Which is a basic yz 125 top end rebuild. He acted as if I was crazy and had know idea what I was talking about. I told him I would have to keep calling around and he ended the conversation by saying great you do that.

Just called to get a quote and I spoke to somebody named Gary. He seemed completely uninterested and was no help at all. His overall attitude made the whole thing unpleasant. I would not even think about bringing my bike in there to have any work done.

Dan & company has been working on my past 5 motorcycles since 1994 & has saved me 1000’s of $$. On one ride up to big sur the voltage reg died. Called Dan. He had me get a full charge on the battery, unplug both head lights & made it the 110 miles home!!!
