This place is amazing! I tend to buy smaller plants because I love to see them grow. Every. Single. Plant. That I have bought from this place has thrived! They are super healthy and the staff is amazing at giving suggestions. I love this place and I have brought multiple friends here from all over socal to check out the awesome plants. Large variety of anything you could want or need and great prices! Definitely buy your plants here! No bugs and healthy plants with great roots!
This place is absolutely amazing!!!I highly recommend it, you could spend half A-day there! They not only have Plants & Flowers they have home decor stuff. Everything you need!The services is great!I cannot wait to go back.Parking is a little tight, because the place is jam packed, but they have employees directing traffic which is really nice. A+

They were quick to answer back and help me. I’m a very happy customer and customer and they give 10% off to military/veterans. Alexis and Pat? are great.
The best plant nursery I have ever been too!! and Ive been to a lot. Its huge and they have the biggest variety of plants, succulents of ALL sizes, trees, vines,fruit trees etc... they also have an amazing selection of pottery and great prices! the employees are really awesome, knowledgeable and helpful!! I highly recommended going there.
The plant depot has the largest variety of plants & plant products that I have ever seen in any nursery. From flowering plants to exotic delicate ferns. Just walking around the grounds & enjoying the peaceful surroundings including the fish pond is reason enough to go there. It like a small oasis in the middle of city life. Try it, you wont be disappointed.
Great place to find all sorts plants and vegetable. Nicely maintained and friendly staff. Got delivery arrived almost 45 min after I purchased the plants.
Keep in mind this is a fine nursery, so even the most basic of plants are overpriced. There are some cool plants, great selection for outdoor and indoor and other nicknacks & decor. I didnt end up getting anything because I found the same plants I was looking for somewhere else for cheaper. Otherwise this is a great place to check out if youre in the area, its a clean and very sizeable. No interaction with the staff so I cant comment on customer service.
PD is one of my wifes favorite stores! They have a great selection of plants and trees at very reasonable prices. Plus they have numerous very knowledgeable staff members.
Chock-full of beautiful plants and goodies and really crowded! Had never gone on a weekend before and think Ill stick to weekdays. Well stocked and make sure you have your mask with you! As usual the staff was so helpful and friendly!! 💞💞💞🌺🌸🌺
Excellent customer service! I had a walking boot on my leg and one of the staff walked around the entire nursery pushing my cart and showing me everything I asked to look at. He wheeled my full cart right up to the check-out line when I was done!
Plant Depot used to be my favorite garden spot. My daughter and I didnt mind driving out of the way, until today.Went in with plans of creating a little rest stop for Monarch butterflies by buying some milkweed plants. Apparently asking about neonicotinoids is a valid reason for their employees (a group of older guys) to laugh at customers. I kid you not.Better yet, make sure you dont have ANY questions. Another older lady there could not have cared less. Just made a comment about clipping the plants back in winter, with no further details like where on the stem and just walked away.From what I experienced today it was a bunch of retirees sunning themselves out at the northern kiosk who thought they were on vacation and were annoyed with the perceived interruptions.Snapped a couple of pics on the way out. Too bad their employees dont practice what they peddle.Looks like we will just go down the street to Armstrongs from now on.

I love Plant Depot, it’s one of the places where I want to stay all day long!!! Am I big plant lady and I get all my plants here- they are ALLL big and healthy and strong. Once thing that I would like to see more of is more rare plants I mean I know they are hard to find but this is the only plant store that I trust with plants! Also the plants are kinda expensive I meant some but not all. My go to place for gardening! The staff is extremely educated for what WILL grow in our area. Since its family owned, I like supporting that.Was a bit bummed they didnt have any garlic, onion or shallot sets, but Ill get over that! Got most everything else on my list and planted in the garden on the same day! Great job. I know Ill be back soon.

I arrived about an hour after they opened and it was crazy busy! However, the nursery is HUGE so the shoppers were spread out. There is a tremendous selection of plants and pots! I got help from one of the employees. With her guidance, I chose a Ceanothus for a south-facing sunny spot in front of my house.
Great nursery, lots of spring color to choose from. Pricey place however and their return policy is NOT like home depot...90 days! Still worth a trip from HB.
I arrived at 5:40, having drove 2hrs to get here. I quickly ran around to get the 4 items that were most important to me. There was plenty of staff of hand, not to assist me but to make sure I was at the register by 6pm...which I was! Then when I asked for a restroom key they refused to give me one. After I loaded my items in the car having spent $34, I TRIED to quickly take a couple of pictures and at 6:06pm I was asked to get in my car and leave. Embarrassed by being treated as an unlawful citizen for being there only 6 mins past closing. I kindly suggest they change there hours to 530. To allow people to get there items in their cars AND possibly use the restroom if needed.

Compared to the big box stores, Plant Depot has the better, healthier plants. They also have a much bigger selection, which is a big plus if youre looking for specific plants. I was surprised to find they had what I was looking for most of the time. The one time they didnt have what I was looking for (very rare, exotic, tropical plant), they offered to special order for me. They even called their supplier for me to find out if the plant was available for purchase.The staff working around the plants are very friendly and helpful. They helped me find plants based on what I was working on (privacy screen mostly in the shade). They loaded and carried plants and a bag of soil to my car, without me asking for their help. I thought it was a nice gesture.Walking around this whole place is very fun and relaxing for gardeners and people who enjoy nature. Plants, flowers, and beauty everywhere! I could easily spend a couple of hours there, but I try not to. The thing is, its a little bit more pricey than the big box stores. But sometimes, the big box stores dont have what youre looking for and dont care either.
Love this place! Selection is extensive and unmatched by anything I’ve seen locally. Staff is super knowledgeable and always helpful. The plants we buy are healthy and sturdy. Free popcorn for the kids and sweet home accents are a huge draw. We always leave wanting more!

On our way up to Irvine we saw the side of their building from the freeway & decided to check it out on our way back to San Diego. There was a line of cars to get into the parking (not complaining, its understandable given the quarantine) & after getting inside I could easily see why! A fantastic wide selection of plants, stuff that Ive been trying to find at my own local nurseries & havent been able to find. And the pricing, specially given the area, was more than fair. I would literally make the hour long drive again with no issues to shop there again!

Ive been going to Plant depot for YEARS.I love it and thats why I go back, all the time. Tyler and Rick are my GO TO people, for every plants own personal needs.Because of their help, my garden is thriving.A gift card from Plant depot, is ALWAYS on my Christmas list.About the bathroom, being far away, its NOT. At least there is one, and its good to walk!!
I have been here several times, I love their selection of plants, flowers and pots. However, you wont get much help from the staff if you have questions, if you asked its almost if you are an annoyance. Green Thumb in Lake Forest has much better customer service.
Definitely doing a much better job adding to their California native plant selection, although Tree of Life is still my go to for that. They do offer a senior discount if you go in on Monday, it never feels crowded here, and the staff is trained how to care for different types of plants depending on drought tolerance, soil selection, and location in terms of sun and wind exposure.
They have a great selection of plants and a really good return policy. They also have fair prices!

I really thought I could trust Plant Depot on getting plants that have not been sprayed, after all when youre raising monarch caterpillars ( like I do ) you do not want to buy plants that have been sprayed because this will kill the caterpillars which I found out yesterday I bought a plant that killed 18 out of 27 caterpillars the question is is who can I trust .
Great Nursery. Awesome selection for interior and outdoor. They actually hire staff that are into plants, so there is always someone very knowledgeable around in addition to being very pleasant.
Lots of plants to select from. You will pay a little more but get good quality plants. Cashiers are not the friendliest people though. The women cashiers are especially rude and not polite.

Great selection & reasonably priced, would have been 5 stars if it wasnt for the football length walk to the bathroom, oh, sorry, I forgot to mention that you need a key, so, back to the center to find the key and yes you guessed it, walk the football length again to the bathroom, on the plus side, if you make it without soiling yourself, the bathroom is very clean.

I bought an orange tree from plant depot. I dug a deep hole and planted it in a mixture of miracle grow Garden soil and the local soil. The tree started looking worse and worse. I called them several times, and took pictures in to show them. They never gave me consistent advice, telling me to buy this or that, to water more, or water less, etc. Finally, I dug the tree up and put one in from Armstrong. I took their tree back, and they didnt really care. No one there knows what they are doing.
They have everything from potted herbs to giant trees. I love their fruit tree and succulent selection.
