The instructors have been incredibly patient and informative to my six year old son. My kid loves his weekly sessions and I can see his physical and emotional growth arising from his classes. Thank you Wushu for the wonderful experience.

Great place for kids to learn. Facility is clean, organized and professional. Coaches are great and patient. I mainly enjoy the lessons that the coaches teach the kids about having confidence, integrity, etc. I enjoy listening to my lil one explain what she learned, what it means to have “XYZ” and how she will apply it. Only slight concern is that some of the parents attending can loud and distracting at times. But in all, I respect the coaches and the hard work they put into teaching the kids.

My daughter is 4 years old now. She has been at Wushu Central for at least 3 months now. She began in the Tiny Tigers class and loved it! The coaches are patient with each student. She started Little Heroes at the beginning of August and has learned so much. Lately she has had some difficulties wanting to participate, but the coaches do all they can to engage her so she could feel comfortable and warm up to participate with the group. I really appreciate what they do for my daughter and would recommend Wushu Central to any of my friends and family.

Daniel looks forward to going to his wushu class every single week. He loves the lessons and working hard towards his weekly badge and next belt. The teachers are great in communicating and managing the kids to ensure they are listening, following instructions, respecting adults while having fun. It’s a lot to do in 30 mins and we have seen a lot of change in his behaviors at home. He knows he needs to work towards what he wants and it doesn’t come easy. Great foundation for what life will bring! Highly recommend it for parents to enroll their kids, boys or girls!

My son has been doing wushu online via zoom (we started during shut downs) and its the one thing I dont have to nag him to do. Wushu is good about encouraging students and teaching them good values and respect. They are consistent and keep the student engaged while helping them strive for improvement. My son responses well, as most of us do, to the sense of accomplishment. When he needs correction, I have seen it being done in a firm and positive way. I love the positive messages and lessons they put out on Facebook. This academy knows how to teach and inspire not just their students but the family and community as well. Overall, very impressed with Wushu Central Martial Arts Academy.

At first I was hesitant and skeptical of the cost. After about 4 classes and seeing improvement I came to realize that it is all well worth it. The communication is wonderful, the teachers are great and the level system is fair and understandable for everyone. Customer service is great in person and on the phone. They are constantly making sure to use the childrens strengths by accommodating them into the lessons. Overall its a great program for all ages and all levels.

We joined Wushu Central during the pandemic with their online classes, twice a week. Their online classes are run well and are engaging. They make it really fun to learn forms, but also balance it with the need to practice. My son loves it and its fun for me to hear him laughing in class because the coaches intro new forms in fun ways but also be really focused when it comes time to practice for belt tests.Wushu Central also provides free weekly 15 min 1-1s with coaches, which is really helpful for kids getting direct, immediate feedback for learning their forms correctly or learning other new skills. This also helps the kids feel connected, inspired and known. Even without the 1-1s, though, the online zoom class coaches do a great job of engage with the kids. I was surprised that they recognized and knew my son the first time we visited the studio for a belt pickup.If and when there are any concerns, Sifu Chang and the in-studio staff are very responsive and address them right away. Overall, its been a very positive experience and weve recently upgraded to classes four times a week in person as a result.Thank you Sifu Chang & Wushu Central Coaches!

Great place that not only teaches martial arts but also is a great motivation and self-confidence booster for kids and people of all ages.

We are very happy with Wushu central for our 7 year old. Coach Mike and Coach Kayvon make the lessons fun and exciting for little kids. The badge system is a nice little incentive to keep them motivated and my kid looks forward to her lessons and new badge every week. I especially like that they keep repeating lessons like patience, perseverance and concentration.

My son started going to Wushu Central when he was three year old. As with any kid at this age, he had no attention or focus. The coaches here did an amazing job in keeping him focused and attentive. All coaches are excellent in their handling of kids, adding interactive and fun activities to keep them engaged. After shelter-in-place, the classes moved to online mode. Even though the interactivity and some of the fun activities are missed, the classes are still held with great detail and rigor. They also added a private 1:1 class at no additional cost, where the students can get personal attention from the coach. The themes are well structured and educative for kids, with coaches giving them life tips at the end of the class. Overall this has served as a great tool for my child to get some exercise and maintain fitness while gaining some focus.

My son absolutely loves attending his classes here. The staff is very friendly, and Coach Nathan is awesome with the young kids in our group. I thought it was crazy to put our toddler in martial arts class, but after going with him and seeing how much he enjoys it, its worth every penny.

This place is phenomenal! They have the most excellent, most down to earth people who work here. They go above and beyond to make sure the kids and parents are in a welcoming environment.My boys was able to try everything they offered their age range to find the class that they enjoyed the most. I have a big family, and its not easy to put two kids into martial arts! Coach Austin and Tan worked with my kids, who are enrolled on their online training. The boys are always excited for every class.They even invited my boys to attend weekend classes to work on their form and any lacking skills. If youre searching for a place for your children to do martial arts, this is most definitely it.

My kids (ages 9 and 6) started Wushu Central online classes in January 2021. I was skeptical that Zoom classes would be effective to learn a martial art. But wow! Both kids have learned an amazing amount in only a few months. They look forward to their lessons and are totally engaged. The instructors have been wonderful. The kids are building confidence and having fun at the same time. They are begging to do the summer camp. A very positive experience so far!

Shifu Chang greeted us when we walked in and made us feel comfortable. My 4 year old was being herself and the teacher let her be as he guided her along the steps needed. I was amazed at the thoughtfulness and confidence they had. I look forward to continuing our classes.

This is a great facility for kids to start learning Karate. The coach is very patient with kids. My 6 year old just loves it so far and always looks forward to the next class!

Even from across the county and in a different time zone, this has been phenomenal. I was skeptical of how much could really be accomplished virtually, but I’m glad to be proven wrong. The coaches are thorough, engaging, fun and patient while still demanding high standards and tremendous detail. The communication was stellar. Everyone was quick and responsive. I couldn’t have asked for anything better at this moment in time. I hope the virtual training keeps developing even when we are all back in person again. We love it!

Wushu Central has been a super positive experience for my 7-year-old son! About 1.5 years ago, we checked out three other martial arts schools before deciding on Wushu Central, and were very happy with that decision. Of the schools that we visited, Wushu Central has the best balance of teaching martial arts while making the classes fun and engaging for younger students. In particular, my son looks forward to his weekly private lessons with Coach Cameron, who has both a great attitude and is an excellent instructor.Wushu Central has also done a wonderful job adapting the school to the pandemic with a combination of zoom group classes and private lessons. For belt promotion, they offer contactless pick up of the new belt, or theyll mail it at no extra cost.We do hope to go back to in-person classes next year. Whether in-person or online, I believe Wushu Central has the best childrens martial arts instruction in the area!

Today was my son first day. He is 3 1/2 yo and I was amazed at how well Coach Tan did with him. I wasnt sure if my son was going to listen since it was his first day but Coach Tan made it interesting for and made sure he engaged the whole time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is interested in starting their little ones off in Martial art. My son started learning WuShu here at 3 years-old. I drove the 20 minutes to this academy because it seems to be the only place where my son could focus. I never thought I would still be coming here after 8 years. He has decided on his own that he will earn his black belt in a few years. He feels successful. I personally love how it has built up his flexibility and athleticism so that he can also excel in other sports. Since I have been a parent watching for so many years, I have personally seen other students grow from hard-working teenage trainees to coaches, and how they developed as leaders. They dont only affirm the athletes that are naturally gifted, they emphasize hard-work and not giving up. Its a very positive place and my son has thrived here.

I have four kids enrolled at Wushu Academy. My children love taking their classes and speak highly of all their coaches! The coaches are very patient and have fun with the kids. I love watching my children gain strength and discipline through their classes. Their app is very easy to use to book the private lessons and has videos that my kids can go back to when they’re practicing on their own. We’re so glad we found them!

My kids have been studying in Wushu Central for one year. They are learning how to defend themselves and new skills and techniques to build their strength and confidence.

I was not sure about learning martial arts online during the pandemic, but my kids have enjoyed every moment of their classes. Since the online class is only with kids who are online, there are 2 instructors with the group at all times. One instructor in front of the kids and the other instructor watching each of the kids to be able to give feedback on their form and technique. And I love not having to drive anywhere since we are doing class from home!

Both my kids are in Wushu Central. They started during the pandemic and we have been very impressed and happy with the quality of the instruction, even over Zoom (we love the remote option). Sifu Chang and the coaches are all enthusiastic, knowledgeable, great with the kids, and know them by name. We also appreciate the many (non-physical) life skills they teach, like focus, respect, self defense/stranger danger, etc. Highly recommend!

Shivaan has been part of this Wushu journey since he was 5 yrs of age. This has been his most consistent journey. He is only 14 and we are proud to see him achieve his 4th degree black belt. Through this he has developed discipline, dedication, consistence, hard work, casting a big vision and belief that he can accomplish anything he sets his mind and willing to work for it. My 4 year old son has been taking classes at Wushu Central for over a year now and he really enjoys it. His teachers are very friendly and good with kids. They teach the students about discipline, being good and respectful to their parents and teachers and also of course how to defend themselves! Very clean and safe place. Highly recommended.

Sifu Chang is very friendly and easy to reach. I just text him and he responds very quickly. I love how they have their virtual classes right now. The testing cycle is quick which is awesome because my kids don’t get bored waiting to test. I really like that the last ten min of class are reserved for teaching an actual lesson on character and behavior.

My kids have been attending since they were 2 and I couldnt be more happy. The younger kids learn basic karate moves and are taught social and life skills as well. The instructors are excellent. It is rare to find people who are truly gifted at teaching but both the instructors we have had here are not only passionate, but were truly born to teach.

My daughter absolutely loves Wushu. We had tried her in a couple of other martial arts but I dont think she was ready for their intensity. However, from the beginning, she loves Wushus method of training. She has so much laughs and yet listens to them. Its so worth it. It may be virtual at the moment, but if the teachers are captivating, the students will learn.

It all started as a fascination from watching the movie Kung Fu Panda at age 4. Wushu Central opened the door to the world of this amazing martial art form and turned it into the endless need of wanting to learn more. At the time, my son was more of a shy child. Wushu central provided the coaches who were by far the most patient and caring, giving the best scope for my son to blossom. Special shout out to Coach Tan, Coach Larry, Coach Matt, Coach Mike, Coach Terry and Coach Troy.Fast forward 13yrs, my son is now a confident 5th degree black belt and giving back to the community as an instructor. My son had started Wushu Central at the age of 4 and continuing for 5 years now. In these years I never ever felt of dropping him. To start with coaches are friendly, management is prompt, practice studio is great. Sifu David is so amazing, I remember once he drove to my house to deliver something I ordered as it was needed urgently. My son likes it, he waits for the classes eagerly and I think those few hours classes in the week are the most happiest hours for him. That’s enough for me to invest in Wushu Central. Now during the pandemic online classes, I used to spend sometime watching him in the classes (otherwise it’s my wife who takes him to studio classes), I can see they have many fun moments while learning. They run promotions time to time and I used to buy prepaid years and stack free months because I know my son is continuing here for long. I want to thank each and every staff of Wushu Central to make it worth.

The way that martial arts is taught at Wushu Central is very methodical and organized. The curriculum is set up such that students progress through basic skills, forms and physical conditioning through manageable chunks, and with the instructors watchful guidance, students remain confident, interested and goal-oriented. More importantly, the formation fosters the virtues of respect, hard work, courage, perseverance, and self-control. The community of coaches and students are very friendly, joyful, supportive and authentic. All these make for a truly amazing experience learning wushu for my children and myself!

Very beneficial for my son’s overall well-being. Balance is a key aspect of reaching peace. My son is currently an orange belt and I feel he is guided on the right path and is being taught positive skills that will help him in all aspects of his life. Coach Tan and Coach Cameron are awesome leaders as well as all the other coaches that help in their absences.

We enrolled our little one at Wushu Central at age 4 (little heroes, white belt)...my initial thought of enrolling was just to allow her to have some new activities and learn something new. Shes now almost 6 and we are still with Wushu. We love all the coaches - theyre engaging and knows how to have fun with the little kids. I love how the coaches remind the kids to respect people, i love their lessons, each topic not only relates to wushu but also their daily lives. I often have to remind my little one what did Coach say? please focus what does focus mean? and my little one will remember what was being taught. Before pandemic, we would go into the studio for lessons and its great. The studio is clean and staffs are friendly. Now during Stay In Place, they offer online courses. Though its not the same as in person, its still great for my daughter to see her coaches weekly. I highly recommend Wushu Central its a great set of skills for anyone to have, even if not advance skills, the basic skills are helpful!

This is a great place to ease into martial arts. The coaches are patient with the kids and Sifu Chang puts his customers first. With hundreds of families to take care of, he still personally responds to calls and texts. It makes you feel like youre not just another number on the books.They have also done a great job reopening the studio to live classes with proper distancing and hand sanitizing. We feel safe sending our daughter to class.

My wife and I have been students at this fine academy since February of 2020. Sifu, the owner of the school, and our coaches (Larry, Mike) are friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to teaching us the martial arts. We get a great workout every time we come and enthusiastically look forward to learning more in the coming year.

We are extremely happy with Wushu Central. The owner is very attentive and makes a huge effort to provide the best learning atmosphere for his students. The coaches are engaging and work well with kids of all ages. The structure of the class is very consistent which is beneficial to the young kids in the class. My son is back in the face-to-face class (since SIP) and I am very satisfied with the safety protocols in place.

This is a great place to learn Martial arts. My kid started his lessons during Covid and I still couldnt believe, its possible to teach Martial arts through virtual lessons. The coaches here are extra ordinary and lessons are so interactive.

When the pandemic first struck in March, Sifu Chang very quickly adapted to the reality and rolled out an impressive online option for lessons. He is always proactively sending out vlogs informing us about the latest with regards to regulations/policy, belt testing etc . We are very happy we found Wushu Central for our son!

I cant say enough about this program! My two children joined this program during COVID and immediately fell in love with it! They love it because it is fun and they get to do cool moves. I love it because it allows them to build strength, confidence, resilience. The program is organized and covid friendly with their great online classes! The teachers are all engaging and clearly love what they do. The best part is that I do feel like its a little family. Our kids have doing Wushu at Wushu Central for over 4 years and they really enjoy it. Sifu Chang and the Wushu Central team, have been really great handling lessons even though its all gone remote due to the pandemic.Having the kids in Wushu has given them confidence and kept them in a structure activity. The kids are also now more interested in gymnastics and other activities because of what they learned and have seen at Wushu Central.Would recommend them when trying to learn Wushu.

Increased time at home can be an excellent opportunity to build or rediscover different types of hobbies. Our 6-year-old son has been coming to Wushu Central for almost 3 years now.We are very happy with the school and really like that our son not only gets excercise but also learns good behavior and philosophy.I have to say that we are very impressed with how Sifu Chang adapted his school to Covid changes. There was no break in lessons and online option worked pretty well for our son.The team of coaches at Wushu Central is amazing. They are not super strict, at least for the young kids, but that is not what we are looking for at this age. The coaches work very hard to teach their students and keep them engaged.

As a long-time student at Wushu Central, I will never forget how Sifu Chang and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to train me and help me become the person I am today. One of our son’s favorite activities, before, during and I’m certain after COVID is training at Wushu Central. The coaches relate to each student on the students level, regardless of age and talk to them with a growth mindset in a way the student can understand. Add the fact that Sifu Chang continues to do all he can for his students (and therefore parents); going virtual as soon as Covid hit, making that virtual experience seamless, adding limited in-person classes as soon as it’s cleared by the County, and using every opportunity to help his students grow as people and martial artists. We’ve been apart of the Wushu Central family since 2014 and won’t be leaving anytime soon.

I love Wushu Central! As an older adult I enrolled in my first classes last summer on a wellness search after a year of treatment for pancreatic cancer. I signed up for the Tai Chi class looking to rebuild balance, strength, endurance, and vitality. Also, I am in the Wushu Orientation Kung Fu class where, as a martial arts beginner, I hoped to learn the meaning of some of the terms I hear in Tai Chi, like press, block, pull...The coaches are skilled, welcoming, upbeat, and encouraging. They wave and greet me by name every class, as they seem to do with every student. Even though all my classes have been on zoom with the pandemic, I have learned a lot, and look forward to this community of students and coaches every week.And after a long physical decline, I find myself now super delighted to mark progress in the other direction with a 24 form certificate in Tai Chi, and a move from white to yellow belt in Kung Fu. My health is on an upswing again, and Wushu Central has had a big part in that improvement.

In South Bay Wushu is the best place to learn Kungfu for Adults and Children. Sifu Chang and Cameron are very professional and patient. The place is clean and safe. My son has been a student for 3 years and he has learned Kungfu as well as has learned self discipline. He just loves it. Very reasonably priced. Look for deals during thanksgiving ;)

We’ve had such a great time with Wushu central. It has been a life saver with the pandemic this year. We just promoted my son Ethan from little heroes to wushu kids. Year 2 here we go. #journeytoexcellence

My son started at Wushu Central in 2014, and he is now at a conditional black belt. It has been amazing to see him progress and to continue to hone his skills and practice self discipline in his life. It has helped his self-confidence and given him tools to deal with stress and promote focus. My younger son is also now in wushu and enjoying his classes. I admire how they were able to establish an online practice quickly during the Pandemic. The teachers there are patient, kind, and rigorous. Wushu Central is a big part of our lives, and I wouldnt have it any other way.

Wushu Central Rocks !!! Sifu Chang and all the coaches are really amazing with kids when it comes to getting their attention and being patient. Online classes are not easy to take but the coaches make it so much fun for the kids.

They have good COVID 19 standards, and are being really safe! Good classes, and friendly teachers. :D

My son loves Wushu! He goes in person and they follow all the social distancing protocols. My son has learned a lot of self discipline and his self confidence has significantly improved since beginning Kung Fu.

Plenty of instructors to engage with small groups definitely help make children feel included and provides accountability and strong lessons.

The virtual classes during the pandemic time has helped my daughter to develop a lot, discipline herself. Great instructors and my daughter is very happy to be part of this academy.

I recently enrolled my kiddos and the environment is perfect, they are following all COVID-19 protocols to have all students safe. I highly recommend this place if you want to have your kids doing martial arts.I invite people to try this. Kids have fun and also adult classes are great ! They follow all COVID-19 protocols so everyone can have fun, do exercise and most important, be safe.

My son has been going to Wushu Central for the last 3.5 years since he was 2 1/2 years old, although it feels like forever. The teachers there are all very friendly and good with children of all ages. Since the pandemic, we went from once a week to 45 minutes online zoom classes twice a week, and free 15 minute one on one appointment with any available coach. If you miss a class, all classes are recorded so you can review or retake at any time, at your leisure. Belt tests conducted through Zoom and private 15 minute lessons can all be scheduled through the Wushu Central App. Wushu Central’s quick adaptation to the evolving situation in early 2020 was most impressive. Combined with their already existent mobile app, and daily to weekly emails from Sifu Chang, we were never left in the dark. They quickly invested in necessary technology to move classes into online format. If all my son’s school and extracurricular classes had responded in similar fashion, the first few months of the pandemic would have been so different versus complete radio silence! The other evening, my son said I needed to exercise (he was right), and coached me through some different strength training exercises he learned from his coaches and it was hilarious and impressive all at once. I have no regrets signing my son up with Wushu Central.

Truly professional even in their online format. Would recommend them for long term learning great forms and techniques of Wushu.

The Wushu coaches are very kid-friendly, energetic, and encouraging. My son likes his online classes, and private lessons are very helpful, too!

My son has been with Wushu central for 2.5 months now. The coaches are great at keeping the kids engaged in class. My son always get a good workout from the 30 minute classes. He has build his skills in focus, coordination, fitness, discipline, etc. thru wushu central. I highly recommend them if you want your kids to stay active during this covid time.

Awesome coaches! Cannot find any better combination of life coaches and martial art experts. Love them all!
