Welcome change compared to Home Depot. Imagine a store were even the floors are spotless clean, the shelves are stocked and arranged perfectly and the products are actually where they belong. Plus if you ask for help you get it quickly from competent people.

I went in to buy 1 thing . Came out with 4 or 5 things. The staff were super friendly. Especially the young man at the register. Very clean and organized. I highly recommend going there. They also have a variety of products. From cleaning to decor, painting, hatdware. Glue wood filler....and more

Not long ago, I visited this store to buy some mulch and was surprised by the verity of mulch they had. I asked for help and they lady that helped me was so helpful and knowledgeable. She then guided inside and rendered more help about the type of soil for the problem areas in our yard. Amazing service, knowledge and professionalism. From the lady who helped me, to the cashier and the two young men who helped loading my car. We will support this business for all of our household needs.

Its Orchard supply with a different name. This location has the most complete and fully stocked fasteners in the area. The rest of the store is Clean, stocked and well organized. The employees are friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely worth spending time and money at this location to support the store.

Plenty of products and plants are well maintained. Helpful staff. Cost a bit more but well worth it.

Cashiers do not acknowlege you when you walk through the front door. They are more intrested in their own conversation than the customers. And as youre coming up to check out they are still interested in their own conversation and they still dont acknowledge you me and my wife were in there and I have a foot injury and the older checker made me wait until she was done with her conversation with the young checker. Only one employee throughout the whole store acknowledgd me and my wife And she was an older lady I believe work in the garden area Shes the only one did the serves any 5 star rating and more The customer service is headed in the wrong direction they will lead this company to bankruptcy just like Orchard Supply.

Just like the store in a previous life, Orchard Supply Hardware, Outdoor Supply Hardware is cleaner, better organized, and has more people around to help you. A local alternative to Home Depot and Lowes that we try to go to first.

Went today to get holiday items, saw the sign for 50% off on items that I wanted and we double check with an employee to make sure the sale was correct, which she said yes it was. I grabbed the items but when I checked out I noticed the prices were higher that advertised, so I went back everyone was fine until the store manager came in and she said the sale was not right even when they have sign posted all over, she got mad at me and started been completely rude so I returned all the items because she was so rude to me and my daughter. If you don’t want to honor your advertisement don’t post anything, but stop false advertising. Never coming back for sure.

I had a horrible experience at the store in Paso Robles California. I cannot seem to find a corporate customer service phone number or email. I would greatly appreciate it if someone would reply where I can contact the Corporate complaint department.

Great successor to Orchard Supply Hardware. Really a clone. Im glad it is back. Nice to have people that can answer questions. Expect prices about 10% above Home Depot and a better focus on consumer hardware and garden rather than construction.

I needed a couple more screws for the desk I was building. an employee was able to match the screws I already had as well as possible and I was able to finish my project.

They were able to make keys that other hardware stores could not make.

We come mostly for the plants. Weve gotten succulents, terracotta pots, flowers, catnip seed, moss, chicken wire, etc. Great neighborhood store. Friendly staff. We like coming here. Recommend.

New and yes just as good as the old orchard..I can find stuff here I find no where else and these guys customer service is outa this world. You know how you can barely find someone to ask a question too in hone depot and when you do they go duh not here these people know there s%$# I do veneering and asked a question prepared that no one would know what I was talking about. Wrong.and there person who really knew her s%%% was a woman..she told me a few things I didbt know. Go. Youll be happy like me.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. However, one lady who was at cash register #4 I think, the light was off and I approached and asked are you open? She would not make eye contact with me and said no!!! I expected much more from someone I assume is in a management roll. If you dont like paying customers go work at a government department like DMV. Oh wait my last visit to DMV was more pleasant than this woman.

Large, neat and complete. This hardware store is reminiscent of the original Orchard Supply. It is well stocked and easy to navigate. Wide aisles for easy access and social distancing.

This restart of the old Orchard supply has a ways to go to be the go to store. The help is a bit hard to find right now, the guy who waited on me last was crabby about having to cut cable (and he muffed it on the end!) Muttering about someone calling in so short handed. How is this my problem? I just want a piece of cable!

When you’re able to go in, this place is great. I love to have them and I love to support them. I was ecstatic when the store opened and rushed inside.With COVID, I can’t go into stores right now because of my asthma. I have tried calling in an order a few times for pickup but nobody ever calls back. The shopping online feature has been under development for a few months now. It’s frustrating I don’t have any working options to support this business right now.

I really like this store! Every time I’ve called or come in, I’ve had great assistance and advice from the friendly staff. There are plenty of big box stores in the area, but there is a place for the smaller hardware store such as OSH. I will add that a better online website and search function would make shopping from home a much smoother experience while this SIP is happening.Overall, super happy this store is here!

I really like this store. It is a breath of fresh air compared to Home Depot. I called HD to see if they had ethanol free gas. Waited over 10 minutes for someone to pick up. They transferred me to another department who hung up without answering. Called Outdoor Supply Hardware and they answered after 1 ring. Person on the line checked for the gas and said they had it. Got there and they had ethanol free gas but it was mixed with oil for a 2 stroke motor. Still got good service from the people there. So was OK with the experience.

Limited range of products. Excellent help is available.

Staffs are super helpful

I was really happy to see that location be replaced by a hardware store. I’m a contractor and I like to support all of the smaller businesses, especially the ones in my own neighborhood. I really want to see them succeed.They did a great job. Very clean. Great selection. I especially appreciate the extensive nuts and bolts hardware section.That said, I was very disappointed when I got to the check stand. I assumed that since everything was very similar to the old OSH, the prices would be too. I was wrong. The prices at this new store are not competitive. In fact, they aren’t even close. They aren’t close to their major competitors, not close to their minor competitors. They are what I would call ridiculous. Makes me wonder if their new sales strategy is “more profit with less customers.” I wanted to be fair about my observation so I asked a few of my construction buddies and they concurred.Hopefully they’ll change after the curious customers start to dwindle.

The service here is beyond amazing. The staff is very professional and service oriented. Any time I need help, I get dedicated personal assistance. They take the time to walk with me to find what I am looking for or to resolve any issues.

I’m so happy OSH is back in San Jose at Princeton Plaza on Blossom Hill Road! Now known as Outdoor Supply Hardware & in the original Orchard location great selection, reasonably priced, organized & lots of workers to help. I picked up some plants in the nursery, cleaning supplies & light bulbs too. It’s a nice option when you don’t want the chaos of the big box guys. My new favorite hardware store!

Nice that its back and has different merchandise from the other big box stores. A bit pricey though.

We got christmas trees at a discounted price for a community event. The manager was nice and the employees were helpful.

NO MASKS ON EMPLOYEES! If masks are supposed to protect others from you if you have the virus, then all of the customers did a very good job protecting the employees, since all of the customers were wearing masks properly. The employees either were not wearing masks at all or had the masks below their nose. They just brushed off my requests to wear the masks. I was not very impressed by most of the employees.

If you liked Orchard Supply youll love this place. The new OSH is like OSH was before Lowes bought them and crammed things in every nook and cranny. Everything is easy to find and you get the same friendly folks helping you out. Thanks for bringing this back!

The store carries the same brands, including Canplas plumbing products, as the former Orchard Supply and Hardware (OSH). The staff is very helpful! The checkout line was not well marked, however. But, a great shopping experience overall.

Oh how I miss the old Orchard Supply. I get it its a different company but if they are going to leverage the OSH brand as much as they do they should at least attempt to live up to the name and brand. The new OSH falls flat. Customer service is near non existent. Inventory and selection is poor. And every time I shop there the staff is wandering around aimlessly, and making a concerted effort to avoid customer interaction.I have tried shopping hereat least a dozen times now since they opened, and nothing has improved. Try one of the other stores ACE HD or Lowes instead. Youll be happier you did.Update: Ive shopped here since the store opened. That includes prior to Covid19. Any suggestion by the store that their deficiencies are due to inventory shortage or the pandemic is hogwash. This store has been mismanaged, and staffed with inept associates from the moment they opened their doors.

I was glad that a hardware store went back in, but I have been multiple times now and it seems that they do not have a lot of standard items. When I asked employees for help finding things every time they pointed the direction and sent me of looking. I get that at HD. The old OSH seemed have a lot of handy men and women who knew a lot more than me and helped a lot.

Open, friendly staff and I recommend them. One less star because staff dont seem to have the working experience of the departments. I asked for advice and they told me to Google it.

Unreasonable return policy. If an item is tried out, cant be returned! What happened to satisfaction-guaranteed days of OSH?Be sure about what you buy here cuz you will be stuck with it if its not good!

This review is overdue, but oh man, Im so happy this place is open again. Technically a different company than the OSH from before, but seems to be run by the same people, even hiring old staff back. The excellent customer service mindset is welcome compared to the big box home improvement stores and all the employees are friendly and really seem to know what they are talking about. And the hardware section! Its like bolt and nut heaven (especially the metric choices) and completely blows the other guys out of the water. Now I can go somewhere local at a moments notice that isnt a specialty store like Fastenal (who are also awesome but for different reasons now) when I need that weird car screw or grade 8 bolt!

Generally not happy. The assembly I purchased turned out to be half again more expensive than the same part at ACE Hardware. I returned it back to OSH. Also, you cant return anything to OSH that has been opened. ACE Hardware will allow this kind of return.

Orchard lives. Pricey in comparison. Bought drip irrigation timer and pieces for a leak fix. The store guy knew less than me. Oops. All good.

This is the OSH of old. I used to LOVE going to OSH. It did change a bit under the terrible ownership of Lowes but the people in the store didnt change. The people are why so many love going to OSH.Now it is Outdoor Supply Hardware, OSH for short. I see what they did there. Good on ya! The people are the same great people. Well, the faces are different but the friendliness, helpfulness and eagerness to help is comforting. Like they were never really gone. The only store that comes close is Ace on Lincoln.Ive always been willing to pay a little more at OSH than other big national hardware stores because it is painless to shop and get what you need. The services is so worth the little extra.This last trip they didnt have what I wanted but thats OK. It was still better than the big national store that did have what I wanted. I am so sick of those self checkout and unhelpful people. Ill always to go Outdoor Supply Hardware first!

Call it what you will... its Orchard Hardware Supply. Nice to see it return. Its a bit pricier and new staff are not quite ready for primetime but you will find the usual goods for OSH!
