Pretty tasty joint although the scallop and shrimp fajitas were a yad overcooked. The quality of the scallops were spot on though and the taste was great. I would definitely be back for more seafood. The prices are very reasonable. Outdoor dining inside tent with ambient lighting. I went with my friend Josh and he made buddies with the guy sitting beside us. Overall nice atmosphere and easy parking in big lot

Guys at the deli were messing with me because i didnt speak Spanish. They were laughing about it until i went the wrong direction and made a scene. And wanted to fight. Wasnt funny anymore. Why the unprofessional attitude at a place of business. Also why at 48 years old does situations like that put me in the red. No problems or care in the world when i was in my 20s. Physically not the same person i was back then. It shouldnt be like that from both perspectives.

On Saturday I went to buy tacos in the restaurant inside Tropicana Food and when the girl was giving me the food I seen an older lady coming out of the kitchen with her mask not covering her nose. When I see it, it makes me feel uncomfortable. I feel like I cant go back for my safety and I regret not saying something when I first seen her not wearing her mask properly but I didnt want to offend her. No more. If we see someone not wearing their mask correctly we need to speak up and educate. We are all in this together.

The store has been a staple in E. San Jose for many years, despite many stores shutting down, long before Target, Walgreens, Walmart and mi pueblo chain stores. Isles are clean and shelves are fully stocked, competitive prices, great variety of home remedies found nowhere else. A complete supermarket featuring; a bakery store featuring bread, coffee, and cakes for all occasions, a deli market with savory dishes, a clean-cut meat department, also has fresh vegetables, and legumes department with imported and local produce, highly recommended

If youre looking for some good Mexican products or brands from Mexico maybe consider checking out this place but if youre looking for fresh meats and things like that Whole Foods or Safeway might be a better place

Theres always parking in the back. People dont like it because they dont want to walk. But it has a clean shady path to the front entrance. Store is clean. Service is pretty fast.A good selection of goods incase you prefer different brands.

My dad goes walking daily to bakery at Tropicana Foods for his conchas and I go right beside him to make sure his okay. Excellent customer service however my dad misses previous owner Don who was Manager since the 1960s or 1970s. God Bless Staff at Tropicana Foods. ☺💗🌅

Good carniceria. No green plantains, its not pan latino, its very Mexican. Place has nice people. But its a bit dirty (not in the meat section) and parking is bad and hard to find a cart.

Unsanitary and rude service. One of the female workers did not bother to wash her hands after sweeping the floor and handling the cheese. What really makes this store a 1 star review is the fact she was rude after we politely addressed her unsanitary action. We asked for a new slice after talking to the manager, but unfortunately the woman was still rude towards us.

Too many people, no parking spots available, some guy was taking up 2 parking spots and I asked them if they can fix their parking, they ignored my request.
