Specialized store for container and storage products.Lot of variety on home and garage storage product. Entire first floor is dedicated to conatainers and general storage .Second floor is for office and home kitchen, bathroom supplies.Very well visual of all products . Quality is really nice.

One of the best places to get all your things organized. I mean ALL sorts of things: they have solutions for all places in your house and even outside of it.The prices are high but usually things are unique so it worth the price.There is a drawing table for kids on the second floor so you can keep them busy while looking around.Staff is absolutely friendly and helpful.

Online ordering was easy curbside was a piece of cake. Ill definitely be ordering from them again, they had my containers . exactly what I needed!

Debbie Arce is the designer of the Elfa closet systems at the San Jose Container Store. She was very professional and did a fantastic job of designing a system that maximized the space in our closet. Debbie was very helpful with our virtual consultation and stayed in contact prior and after the installation to make sure everything was seemless.As for the installation, Andy and his partner were actual Container Store employees. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were not contractors. Andy and his partner were done in less than an hour and cleaned up very neatly. I couldnt believe how nicely they put the boxes away.The Elfa system is very functional and reasonable. I had an appointment scheduled with California Closets and cancelled it, because my girlfriend and I were so impressed with Debbies presentation and the functionality of Elfa. With everything completed we have not one regret. I would recommend Elfa, Debbie and The Container Store San Jose to anyone.

Well run, well stocked. I enjoyed the store. Staff helped me find the goods I needed. They were very helpful, had some life. I was very happy an I well be back. It might cost an extra buck, but they have what you want.

The people make the store. This large statutes man at the checkout counter at 1:39PM created a terrible experience. Completely freaking out while hiding behind his plexiglass shield. Barking orders at me to not touch the screen to enter in my email address. Why was the screen right in front of me then, next to the credit card machine? Neither of the two machines were wiped down between customers.Didn’t even thank me for my purchase.He’s the reason why people want contactless delivery. Better off talking to a robot than him.

PSA: please ask them to match the price listed on their very own website to get a (bizarre, unexpected) discount. One is forced to wonder why they don’t do this automatically/list the same price at both places.And when you do this, be prepared to get some rude smirks from the person at the counter ;)

The store was closed during the hours it was supposed to be open. Even at times I have been able to get into the store, I have not been impressed. Selection of items are limited, typically quite overpriced, and the lines at check out are long. I will not be going back to this chain of stores again.

Very handy store to find all types of home organizer items. Went to pick up drawer grip liners. Found rubberized slim hangers which I had been wanting to find and a couple of shoe boxes, front loading type which is convenient. We should support these local retailers where we can actually try out what we are purchasing, otherwise it is a impossible to know if you chose the best option you want.

I love organizing, and my bf introduced me to this place! Lets just say that my OCD self will be coming back again! :D

I appreciate the store being open despite covid numbers rising, along with taking special precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the public; however, they have the doors to the store locked, no one is standing outside outside the door and there are no signs on the door with instructions on how they are letting people in. I called to see if they were still letting people in and it took them 10 minutes to answer the phone and they said they had to let 10 people out because they let too many people in. It was 45 minutes before closing, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were just not letting people in because they didn’t want to work until 7. Very very frustrating. There was a line outside of 20 people, none knew what was going on or what we were suppose to do. If they are going to limit the people in the store and make people wait over 30 mins outside, they should put time limits on people, or at least keep us informed. Very bad customer service.

This place is amazing when they have products in stock. Right now limited products, empty shelves and out of stock on a lot of there products online. Very disappointing!!

I can be a bit biased because I absolutely adore the container store brand! This store specifically is two floors full of anything you can thing of to organize your home. Their staff is super helpful.

I love this store. You can find pretty much anything you can think of organizing something including Travel. I used to live very close to here and wish my current location has a store as well. I am going to travel soon and it is amazing how many convenient/interesting items they carry. I could find a lot of items on Amazon but it is nice to see something in person.

I came to Santana row specifically to come to the store. I love having a place with so many choices. While here I took many pictures of the products and the placards that included measurements so that I could go home and decide exactly what I want to put where. The layout in the store is nice, the staff was helpful and the number of choices was exceptional.

Beautiful products but very pricey. If cost is not an issue you can organize with amazing finishes. There staff is very helpful and friendly. I shop there when I need inspiration and hard too find stuff

The women with the blond long hair, is the worst customer service, after 25 minutes long waiting outside, and not even till I call 😒 on the phone, nobody acknowledged that I was waiting, was 06:30, and they closed at 7:00pm !!, she came out and said Sorry I cant let you in because we have exceed the limit of people, by the way I saw around 12 people leaving, which I answered extremely frustrated, why!!!!? There is not a sign or a smoke signal that indicate me that your are not going to let me in!!!?🙄😏😡, why you didnt set expectations after 5 or 10 minust of waiting, gigantic waist of my time!!!!!!

Great store...i found everthing i needed! Actually I could spend quite a long time in there so much to see... only reason I gave it four stars its because the clerk who checked me out was very impatient and not very friendly because he was talking about going on his break to another co-worker.

If a store hours are posted till 7 pm and you show up at 6:38 and the doors are locked and the associate says “we close a few minutes early to sanitize the store” why is that not posted even on the door It states 7 pm Normally i would not have an issue!! It’s when I drive from Hollister and waste my time that I have an issue there is still guests in side shopping around ... as a customer this is not ok !!

This place is heaven for people who love to organize things around the house. I’m not that person, but I can always find what I need. Most products are modern/contemporary looking, which is my style. The store itself is well laid out, organized (duh), and not messy at all.

Two story store that can be easily seen from the road and that has a wide variety of products. Everything was laid out in a great way, wasnt cluttered, and all employees are knowledgeable. I parked in the parking garage and it was a two to three min walk to the store. They do have parking in front of the store for heavier items.

Needed to organize a storage closet. I had a general idea of what we needed however, they offer a free design service and our designer Pat was great! She took the time to ask questions about the purpose of the storage and it really showed in the design! Cant wait to have it instslled :)

One thing to say about them, is the cult of swellness they have going among staff. Its their job to be perky and smiling. This is to help sell the high priced items they have. The thing is you can buy the same items somewhere else for cheaper. Though their selection of products are very lovely and useful and if you were to spend your money here, you will get good stuff. Also their return policy is great, and you dont need a receipt. Think of everything as having a lifetime warranty. If you can take advantage of their sales, they do have great closet organizing solutions too.

Love the store, but the was a huge line with only one cashier. There was a store manager there, but she didnt seem worried about customers that have other errands to run.

If Im looking for specific storage needs they always have what Im looking for. I have never been disappointed with disappoint with their products or with the assistance that Ive received.

I went today to ask a few questions regarding the closet services. I found a sales person (her name was Joy) and when I approached her to ask if she could give me some information she immediately turned me off and said if I didnt have an appointment she couldnt help me. On top of that she added they were extremely busy given a clearance period. I wasnt even allowed to say a word since she talked for at least 3 straight minutes. I said ok, no problem and turned back. Even though I had to buy some other stuff I preferred to leave the store. I found that person really disrespectful, the fact that she didnt let me even explain the reason I was there was a big disappointment. My husband and I drove 25 minutes just to go check the store and the experience was really bad. I dont recommend you to go there, they have nice stuff but nothing that cant be found on online stores like Amazon. What a waste of time.

I was there at 6:40 pm on Monday and the door closed. One employee came out told me i needed to order online to pick up or I could come in by appointment only. The hours indicated Mon to Fri 11:00am to 7:00 pm (I didnt pay attention for the hours on Sat). I told the employee it didnt indicate online i had to made appointment, and i showed him online it indicated it was okay for walk in shopping. He said no. They dont need business.

I ordered a set of elfa custom closets during its semi annual 30% sale for my new home, the people at the design center and the installer were absolutely delightful and patient to work with. So far I am the 1st home owner that has elfa installed in all of my closets, the superintendents from the home construction company saw these closets and were impressed. They suggested that future home owners in this community may copy the idea and order elfa for their homes too. The 4 closets took an entire day to install. Kevin the installer was right on time, worked diligently and professionally, and did an amazing installation job, and cleaned up afterwards, and organized and moved all the trash to my garage. I cant be more pleased about the entire experience.

This store is terrible! They are often out of stock of items that their inventory database says they have. The response is always It will be coming on the next truck. So I call them after the truck was to arrive and speak with someone on the phone who said Yes. We have 15 (or so) in stock and I verified it. But then show up in the store a few minutes later and they have ZERO. This has happened to me 3 times now.
