I started building a gym in the garage during the pandemic. The prices for weights online were way overpriced. They carry a very large variety of plates and bars. Im not an expert so I wont list them all but they have those nice rubber hexagon dumbells you mainly see in gyms. Its worth the look if you need gym equipment no matter how large or small.

Great customer service, great inventory

Wish I came back sooner to Weights and Bars. I purchased 35lbs Hex Rubber dumbbells and a pair 25lbs bumper plates. I hope to get my money back from The Fitness Armory I have $700 worth of equipment pending for over 12 weeks. Then come back to Weights and Bars for more equipment.$2.50 a pound is a great price its not price gouging.

This is a hidden gem. We lift heavy daily. All gyms are closed. I called them in desperation looking for weights. Joe had 7 ft quality bars with center knurling, and cast iron plates at very reasonable prices. Their service was outstanding. He could easily have ripped us off or been a jerk given the current conditions. He is solid, very professional, great integrity. The gym is solid, a hardcore lifting place. I would lift here if closer to the house. I was at Gold’s Mountain View for 20 years before Google bought it.

Why didnt I find this gem before! I looked for a bar and plates all around the Bay Area and this is the only place that didnt disappoint me. They have a wide variety of weights, all good for a novice to an absolute pro. The service by all the three guys was prompt and amazing and it was really good of them to put everything in the car for us. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quality investment in weight training equipment! Definitely going back there for more stuff.

I really enjoy my workouts here with my trainer. Its got all the basics from racks, barbells, dumbells etc to some more interesting equipment like a variety of sleds, stability equipment, and bands.

Have a trainer and its a great place.
