If you love tinkering and want to do it on the cheap, you have to come here. Youll need to explore everything. Products are labeled, and there is pretty good sense to how theyre organized. Its not going to be as easy to find what youre looking for as a consumer / commercial store, but youll get what you buy for a good price!

I think my expectations were wrong. As a PNW native I was expecting something more along the lines of RE-PC but instead it was more like surplus office stuff. There were some really nice benches for sale. Keep in mind theyre also in the middle of moving so take that into mind as well. Im not from SJ so maybe I just went at a bad time. Id go again after the move is over.

If paradise exists, it must look similar to this place.The inside looks somewhat like a warehouse, and right after I entered inside, I felt like if I had just finished a 00s PC game and got all levels and items unlocked. Imagine all those electronic elements, including rare and vintage parts, finally available at hand.You dont need to wait for eBay delivery or wonder if the package from China makes it to your home.My advice for the owner. It would be good to have something like shared working spaces where hobbyists could use provided tools (like soldering irons, oscilloscopes, etc.) and pay for the day (or maybe a monthly fee?) plus the cost of used elements.Why am I suggesting that? Especially here, in CA the living space is expensive, and not everyone could afford to keep tons of electronic stuff at home.

Always love going here and browsing the huge selection of stuff! They always have new things and it’s a great place to find one off electronic parts without having to wait for shipping from China. They have a student discount which is super nice and keeps me coming back!

It’s really like a swap meet. You never know what treasures you will find. There is a 30% discount for students which includes my 12 year old who loves this place. Excellent.

This place is great! Very organized friendly service and any little gadget you may need from pvc pipes to adapter cords and even tiny drones nice furniture and lots and lots more.

After visiting 3 other major stores and they not having the product I needed and/ or having to order it online, Excess Solutions had actually what I needed at a much more reasonable price.

My son found some good stuff for his computer cheaper than you can find in the store.

Looking for office stuffs like steel drawers filing cabinets, hazmat cabinets, open wood racks and computer desks....and much more and here you could haggle with the price. Though most of it are pre owned stuffs but still decent looking to reuse.

Super cheap stuff, great staff, if you need something odds are excess is gonna have it.

I got crazy on this store because anything for little projects its right there. This is my first time on this place and let me tell you there are very nice people answer questions any time, also prices are very good nothing expensive you know . I just cant wait to go back. Things you didnt know you needed could most likely be found here as well.Dont expect the newest of things here, but if you know exactly what youre looking for, Im sure you could find it here, or the staff can point you in the right direction. They know this entire warehouse top to bottom.

Pro - you get electronic equipments for very cheap prices. Con - its like a library of equipments and its sometimes difficult to find what you want. You might have to spend some time searching.

Great place if you need ANY small electrical connector, resistor or any thing else. Employees are hard to find.
