Dr. Beede is an excellent doctor. He spent a lot of time with me explaining my eye condition. I went there for contacts and he laid out all my possible options and gave suggestions what would be beneficial for me both medically and economically. The staffs are also nice, polite and respectful. I walked out with my contacts after the appointment. Definitely going back again. Highly recommended.

Best eye doctor I have ever been too. Dr. Beede is extremely knowledgeable and also very patient. I have never felt rushed or not listened to. He makes it a point to give personal attention to every patient and wants to make sure everyone is getting the best treatment possible. I would never go to another eye doctor!

We just came back from our first appt with Dr. Beede and staff as a family and cannot say enough about how amazing they are!Without current transitional insurance coverage, we were able to make first New Patient appointments with Dr. Beedes staff right away. The appointment booking process was easy and very straightforward. Staff was super welcoming and informative with giving us all the information we needed with Covid-19 precautions and protocols.Parking was easy to get to and staff was fully supportive as we arrived with our 3.5 and 1.5 year olds for their first vision eye exams + my update. Very straightforward and easy. Dr Beede shared with us that his office is a family eye healthcare practice and spent so much time educating us about what we should be looking out for for our kids as well as went into detail about what my long-term eye healthcare could look like.He spent time explaining to me the causes of some of the symptoms Ive been experiencing with my eyes throughout the years, addressed the contact lens and eyeglass prescriptions that I had previously gotten, and gave me solutions on what I could do to prevent further damage and stress to my eyes. He spoke clearly and explained risk factors and other things to look out for...all things we have NEVER received patient education on before here at any other eye doctors weve been to before in the South Bay Area.High recommend and weve already booked our appointments for next annual checkups for next year with either Dr. Beede or Dr. Shiroishi. Their staff has been super helpful too - Rachel, Marylou (sp?), and Andrea. We could definitely tell that they were doing everything they could to keep you and all your most important people safe.

Professional, personal care when you most need it.I found myself in need of an eye exam and new Bifocals in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. I had a rough bicycle accident. Destroyed my glasses. My all-in-one medical coverage came up short in coverage as well as service. (I wish I hadnt given up my separate VSP. That wont happen again.)So, rather than wait 2 months for an appointment with my health coverage, I decided to pay out of pocket with Dr. Beede, with whom Ive been a client of for over 10 years.I called and had an appointment within 2 days. Safe, sanitary, and personal service. Thats the difference between being a number in a system and being a client.Being able to read and drive is critical to personal health and well being. Being treated like a human being shouldnt be shocking. Knowledge and skill are accompanied by clear communication. I knew how much it was going to cost and when to expect the glasses.I will continue to support and recommend their services in the future. Thanks so much for your help.

Dr. Beed is my doctor since 2008, when I moved to the USA. He takes great care of me and my husband. He is a great doctor. More than this, he cares about his patients.

My wife and I dropped by for the first time to get our yearly eye exams and check ups. We were worried about going to the eye doctor during Covid, so it was incredibly encouraging how to see how seriously everybody at the office took their safety precautions. Dr. Beede and Dr. Shiroishi, as well as the rest of the staff, were not only immensely helpful, but they were cheerful and kind as well. I have never taken my kids to an eye doctor before and the kids were a little scared.I never expected them to be so great with them. They were so wonderful. They kept the kids involved the whole time, talking them through it, joking with them. Their patience was outstanding. We dealt with 2 different people.. the receptionist and the actual doctor. The receptionist was so sweet with the kids, and the actual doctor was even better! She was amazing at explaining exactly what was wrong with their sight in a way me and even the kids understood! Then came the fun part.. The kids had a blast picking there glasses. My son is only 6 so he was a little indecisive.The receptionist was again so patient and helped him find something that work for him and he liked. All and all it was a wonderful experience! They have a permanent patients with me and my family! Thank you all!

First time visit. Helpful and quick staff, pleasant and thorough doctors and nice lens selection. Reception was a bit abrupt; started shooting questions at me and seemed rushed before even offering their name or whether they were tecnicians or what when they led me into room and asked background, but everyone else was friendly.

Every time I call for an appointment it seems to be an emergency - Dr. Beede always makes it easy to come in and address the emergency in the fastest most efficient proficient way. I depend on him now and in the future for that kind of over the top service. My recommendation comes from gratitude for a job well done.

Great online appointment system. I dont have to set a reminder to call the next business day when I get the time for an appointment email. When I get there, I never wait - I get all the prep work done and the doctor (I use either doctor) sees me right away.

What a refreshing change from the scummy eye shops of Russian Brooklyn I used to frequent. ALLEN L. BEEDE, O.D. & LISA Y. Many a family walked in here on Sunday, many of them babied, with all of these babies getting ogled and played with.It was fun, even for a dude.

Ive been going to see Dr Beede and Dr Shiroishi for a number of years now.After a number of years of looking for an eye doctor who was thorough and competent, I was quite pleased to discover Dr Beede. He takes the time to listen to what Ive got to say, and hes willing to do the work to get my eyes to reveal their true needs.The staff is top notch, and professional.One of my favorite reasons for the strong rating is that I dont suffer the endless up sell for some designer frames at this office. Prior to Dr Beede, I cant recall the last optometrist I saw that didnt try to convince me to buy some ungodly expensive frame because some celebrity had a name on it. I They are willing to work within my limitations, and are more than willing to find ways to make it a sound transaction.
