Bijan bakery was an absolute dream. My cake looks exactly like the picture I showed them and even better.From the day I contacted them Kim was amazing. So helpful, so generous with every single step. From the tasting to communicating to whatever it maybe that we asked for.Everything arrived on time, tasted great, and looked absolutely incredible. I couldn’t recommend them enough, not only for weddings but for desserts and pastries. Their cakes are one of the only cakes that actually taste SO good!!!!Thank you Kim and to the whole bijan bakery team.

Our custom wedding cakes were meticulously hand crafted by Bijan Bakery. Rather than one large traditional tiered cake, we wanted a collection of smaller cakes and couldnt be happier with the results. During the consultation process, we showed Kim (owner) a few inspiration photos and worked closely with her to design a creation that was uniquely ours. It was one of the focal points at our wedding reception and several guests wanted to take pictures with it.The cakes tasted as delicious as they looked - they were moist, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness. For flavors, we went with mango mousse, princess, chocolate mousse, and tiramisu. They use high quality ingredients and their cakes are always baked fresh in house. In addition to wedding cakes, Bijan Bakery also offers a large assortment of cookies, pastries, pies, and sandwiches. Weve tried several items on their menu and they are delicious across the board!

We had the best experience with Bijan Bakery! Kim was so understanding and willing to work with us to find the best cake for our wedding last year. She invited us to try various cake samples and discuss different combinations. Kim clearly has a lot of experience with designing cakes for special events. She gave us a lot of great ideas and accommodated all our requests.The final product was spectacular! Our guests were blown away by the delicious flavor (princess cake with mango mousse) and presentation (see pictures below). We were very happy with our wedding cake and so grateful we went with Bijan Bakery! Cherry on top is that we received a free 1 year anniversary cake (also pictured below) from them too. Simply amazed by the sheer taste of the cakes and other varieties of eateries that Bijan Bakery has to offer. Their Burnt Almond cake (one to die for ) is probably the best ever that i have had, having tried it at a few places. Everytime i go there to pick up a cake, i definitely end up buying two slices each of almost all the varieties of cakes/pastries they have out on display. Amazing customer service and a very friendly crew that make your experience in the bakery standout. A definite recommendation if you are looking for a best in class cake for any occasion. Wedding cake review! I have been going to Bijan Bakery for years and so it was a no-brainer to work with them for my wedding cake! While I was initially a bit nervous because we usually only get sheet cakes and slices of cake from Bijan, Kim and her team absolutely delivered in terms of final product and customer service. I was planning a wedding from across the country and communication with her was very smooth! It was primarily by text. Of note, I was able to come into the shop for cake tasting.First of all, I was a COVID bride with my wedding initially planned for Labor Day of 2020. When I let Kim know I had to reschedule to June of 2021, she gave me no pushback at all and said she would be ready when the time came for me to get married! I felt very lucky as many other COVID couples lost deposits when they told vendors they needed to reschedule. When the time finally came, we had to downsize our wedding size due to restrictions. Again, Kim was flexible and understood that we wanted a smaller cake than we originally discussed. When I insisted that I wanted to use a wooden cake stand to match my venue decor, she told me to bring it on in to the bakery and that she would make sure it happened. When I was stressed about when the cake should arrive since it was an outdoor venue, Kim was the one who reminded me that she was the expert and that she would take care of everything so that I could just focus on being a bride that day.Fast forward to the wedding day, Kim was right in that I had nothing to worry about. The cake was absolutely STUNNING and exactly what I had showed her that I had wanted. I wanted to make sure the florals used matched my flowers so I bought flowers from my florist. Kim came early to the venue to hand place the flowers on the wedding cake for me. My guests were wowd by the aesthetic of the cake. Most importantly for my husband and me, people ate every single piece and were asking for seconds, which never happens at weddings!! In fact, our coordinator had to save a few slices for my husband and me. The cake was so light and each layer was a different delicious flavor - passionfruit, tiramisu, and pistachio (with real crushed nuts). My only wish is that I ordered an even larger cake so I couldve had two slices too!I have included two iPhone photos that I got of the wedding cake and plan to include professional ones from my photographer when those photos come back!Thank you Kim and her team! First time at this location. Its small inside. It was very busy and we had to wait for a while to order. Finally got our order but staff was overwhelmed and therefore forgot our drinks. So we had to wait in line again to ask for the drinks. The sweets and hot drinks were tasty though.

This was the best Princess cake I have ever had! They sell small Princess cakes or you can buy it by the slice. This bakery has perfect cakes, sweet treats, and bread for any occasion. There is also a flower shop next door. This seems like a perfect one stop shop for Valentines day.The customer service was excellent! It was our first time visiting the bakery so I kept adding to my order. The staff helping us was so kind and was happy to help us add to the order.They also allow a limited number of people inside to honor social distancing.We cant wait to go back and try more yummy treats.

Bijan has done it again! We got a beautiful heart shaped tiramisu cake for our wedding anniversary. The fresh exotic flowers used by Bijan makes every creation a work of art, and the taste is equally splendid. We enjoyed it so very much! I like the fact that they have a patio that you can sit and enjoy your pastry. We tried red velvet cake and chocolate mousse. The pastry was ok nothing very special.

We went for a birthday cake the initial price was 100$ then once they made it and we went for pick up they started charging extra for things that they didnt initially mention, So we had to pay 40 $ more just to pick up. Then Most pastry has alcohol in it and overpriced like 8$ for a small tarte.

I ordered a graduation book cake chocolate mousse. Kim addressed every detail request that I had over the phone. The cake was perfect. My family and friends were impressed how gorgeous and delicious it was.Bijan Bakery is a must try for anyone wanted a custom cake.

Ive been going to Bijan in Saratoga since dating my husband, and it is still one of our favorite spots for date night after 20 years! This week I wanted to celebrate my friends birthday so I called Bijan to place a cake order. Kim answered the phone, and she was just wonderful! She helped me decide what would be the best choice for the party I was planning. And boy... was she right!! She made a beautiful white cake with fresh strawberries and custard to be picked up on the same day! She also added beautiful fresh flowers for decoration. The cake was both beautiful and delicious! Thank you Bijan for your commitment to great food and great service throughout the years, well keep coming back!

My manager sent me to pickup 3 cakes from the BijanBakery located at Saratoga location. I picked up two Rollet which was like a white tube and was decorated with a pretty fresh flower on the top and white cream but tasted like nothing!!!It was not Fresh! It was not sweet and it was way over priced!!!!!The second chocolate cake was okay. But nothing special !!!I do not suggest this bakery for large purchases!I am sorry for spending over $162 there !!

Next time respect the customer time. Dont let them wait on a scheduled delivery. Adjusted the rating from 1 to 4 because the cake was very delicious.

I was the only person there and it took 15 minutes to get a sandwich. And I cant even eat it because it was made wrong. No, need to go back.

This is one gem of a place that I had no clue about until past few weeks! The place has very cosy feeling, is positive and has a homely vibe. I think I go there repeatedly for their tea and the long cups they provide the tea in.The staff here is very friendly, very cheerful, they quickly respond to any requests you have.On my last visit, I had tried their Raspberry Herbal Tea and Apple Strudel. The tea is far best and one on my favorites amongst all the herbal teas I have had here and elsewhere. I would give 4/5 to the Apple Strudel, it did not come out to be as good as I had expected.Overall, the place deserves a 5/5 🌟

The cake turned out EXACTLY how I envisioned it. My sons wedding party was Wowed. Thank GOD this bakery, Bijan in Saratoga, is IN Saratoga. I was staying in Morgan Hill and kept driving up for more samples!!! Their cake was to die for. I picture dry and boring when I hear cake.. If I had grown up on THIS cake I would have said I LOVE cake. Not overly sweeIt, super moist and flavorful. I tasted the flavors a few days before our event and fell in love with their princess cake. A moist, raspberry mouse cake with marzipan rum icing. At the wedding, the cake was such a hit that only 1/4 of the chocolate mousse and granache layer was left. The raspberry mousse granache layer was completely gone. People were asking if there was more. At any other event Ive been to, there was always a ton of cake left. I was glad I wasnt the only one who loved it. We tried their Sugar Free Pistacio which was still sweet and moist. They use Grape Sugar. We also asampled the Vegan cake and the beautiful chocolate rose cake and their Persian cookies. We did not find 1 thing we didnt love. Kim and her staff are warm and wonderful and helped my event be very memorable. They even sent my son well wishes on his day. I will definitely use them again and again!! The roulette, napoleon, and iced coffee were good. The Tiramisu was savory. They didnt provide forks or plates until I asked.

The bakery offers excellent cookies, cakes, Turkish coffee and the best latte in the area. If you are a chocolate lover, definitely you should try their chocolate mousse cake.

Had an overall amazing experience here. Came in because I had been circling the whole plaza looking for a bathroom and they were kind enough to let me use theirs. Were out of a lot of stuff on the menu but did have their specialty, the lemongrass chicken sandwhich which was... AMAZING. such tender chicken and amazingly fresh bread. It was prepared quickly and professionally and they were very accommodating. Nice patio seating as well. New favorite bakery. Didnt try any cakes but they looked incredible.

Friend came in for a job and was given something completely different to do. No one explained anything. She was yelled at multiple times. Also, the back in absolutely disgusting. The flavor of the cakes comes from the amount of buildup on their decorating table.

I loved the cake I bought at Bijan Bakery and Cafe-Saratoga. It was both beautiful and delicious! Also, the people there are very nice. I’ll be coming back soon.

I got one Napoleon pastry and I got charged for 2! And the napoleon pastry taste is away far from the authentic Persian one. The Persian one has a combination of both patisserie cream and whipped cream. But this one is lacking one of them. They only use custard cream which gives it not the right taste. They dont even taste the vanilla. You should tell your bakers to use the right receipe. I was in this business for 20 years and believe it or not this isnt the right taste for napoleon pastry. Not a positive experience 😕.

Favorite bakery in the area

Bijans almond croissants are the best! Unfortunately by 8:00am theyre usually all gone . Boo hoo! So I got myself chocolate croissant and some other substitute. Thank goodness theyre still a good substitute. I think they used dark chocolate . Croissants are so crispy on the outside, yet flaky and moist inside. I think theyve changed ownership because I had a sample of their cake and the guava cake was definitely divine. Better than the ones at G... I will come back for cakes.

The princess cake is was nice and fluffy, but the marzipan was stale. As for the red velvet, the cream cheese frosting was supremely stale and the cake extremely dry. Difficult to eat.

Overall the bakery and cafe is good, my family and I had mochas and cappuccinos, the mochas were really good and came in good size however with the mochas the cup in which they serve them is not as good since it was not filled. With the mochas I would recommend two shots of coffee. About the cakes and pastries they were good however they could improve by having more variety.

Had an excellent surprise here while visiting San Jose! I was recommended the tiramisu by Shu, which was absolutely phenomenal! She was very helpful and I look forward to my next visit through the area.

We have bought birthday cakes 2 to 3 times from this place. Its has been good. But I was very disappointed with recent purchase of roll cake. It must have been atleast a month old with cream almost turning sour and cake stiff and old. I am not sure what happened to their quality but we wont be returning anytime soon.

Ordered a fresh apple pie, got a call a day early that it was ready, went down and got it, heated up a slice... Its fantastic! Everyone there was incredibly friendly and personable. Would absolutely order more baked goods from them, or choose from their wide selection. Great experience.

We went with friends to have espresso and pastries. We ordered a few Cafe Lattes and a couple of pastries. Lattes were absolutely atrocious. They tasted like coffee beans rather than using roasted beans. Pastries were just OK nothing special. Apparently the bakery was sold and is under new management. Never gonna go there again.

We were looking for a place for breakfast and found this gem! The ham and cheese croissant was so good. The pastry was nice and flaky and the filling was simply delicious. My favorite was the Napoleon. Their baker does an amazing job with the pastry and it is filled with a simply delightful custard cream. We will be back for more breakfasts!!!

We got my son the pineapple custard white cake for his birthday from Bijan.. it was good and I really like their customer service. Chi Kim was really helpful and knowledgeable with the selection. She was able to help me pick out the right cake for my son. We sure will coming back to this bakery

I got the well known Napoleon cakes just now and it is made with custard! No fresh cream whatsoever!! This is like cheating!!

I love this place. They have great cakes. Their mousse selection is great, so many delicious flavors to choose from. The place is clean and nice, great to sit and have a cake and a cup of coffee. I was helped by Moe in the morning, love this guy, great service, clean, and friendly positive attitude. For a young man, he was so helpful and precise, top notch service. Definitely, is a place to always come back to.

Great cafe near the hotel I was staying at. I got a lemongrass chicken banh mi, while my friend got veggie sandwich. The sweets were even better. I got a roll with frosting in the muddlel and guava cake. I ate both and did not share.

Their cakes are fantastic, definitely little expensive, i love their mango moose the most, although i am a coffee and chocolate lover. If someone is looking for having something fancy, then definitely it’s the place worth the visit.

4.5 stars. This review is for the bakery in Stevens Creek. It is a nice spot to have your morning coffee, a breakfast sandwich and a pastry, if you like one. This is a no frills place with variety of baked items including but not limited to delicious looking cakes, rolls, crisps and pastries. We ordered a large coffee and two veggie sandwiches. Cost us $14 in all. Totally worth it. The sandwich was made fresh with a French roll. There was only one veggie option in sandwiches, which was disappointing. The regular coffee was good. We didnt try their pastries but I saw many customers coming in to buy them. The parking is easy. Theres also a twenty min parking for to-go customers.

Ordered our wedding cake from the Saratoga location. The cake was delicious and our guests loved it! Great customer service as well, Kim was very nice to work with!There were a couple of minor design flaws, but they only show in the pictures. In person the cake looked lovely.

I was recommended this place by a friend of mine and ordered a cake for my boss last Friday just to be completely disappointed. The cake was nothing like the picture, it didnt taste good at all, it was very dry. The only okay thing about it was that it did look somehow presentable.It is a shame but I will not be ordering any cakes from them anymore, nor I will recommend them.

The bakery has recently been under new management and I cant say enough about the wonderful customer service...They have a wide variety of mouthwatering European pastries and desserts...plus recently they have also branched out to light lunches and meals...Try them out and youll become a regular!

The cake’s flavor was delicious. We ordered a chocolate mousse cake with a specific design sent to the decorating lady. We were expecting a cake that looked just like the photo since, the lady said she could do it exactly but, for the EXTRA 30 dollars we had to pay there was no result. The cake’s decoration was terrible but, the cake itself was great!

Great place to have dessert and coffee. Went there to try one dessert but ended up having two. I had the pistachio and the chocolate. Both were really good, but the chocolate is the best We used to go here often, but now only come here every once in awhile. The service is great, and you have to try many different desserts to figure which you like best.

Suggest the owner to fix this.The bad part is that both locations are unwilling to accept that it is their mistake and unwilling to credit back money to the card and want the customer to come to the store and take cash back.The other gem is that though they dont all have items placed in the order available they dont care to call and let you know . You would only know after visiting their store in this case the downtown location.

Im still here after finishing my generously sized sandwich, but Ill need to make myself leave before I succumb to eating one of the delicious smelling pastries which are calling me. Im especially tempted by the smell of the fruit and baked dough. We especially like the cinnamon twists, too. Very friendly service. Hazelnut Mousse cake was good. Girlfriend wasnt a big fan of the mango mousse. The almond cookie was good. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The Persian ice cream wasnt my thing, as it had strong spices. I wish they had Almond Burnt Cake by the slice. They only had it as a whole cake.

The cakes are very normal, not bad, but nothing special about them.

Their cookies are awesome. Nice place to visit with your friends if you live close by. They only have 3 tables inside with little room to move around. So it can feel little congested. But not many people visit there as in Paris baguette or Starbucks which are in the vicinity. So, its worth a try to go there, if the standard go-to cafes are crowded.

Happy to visit this place often and have the regular coffee. The wifi in the place is quite good and is a pretty good place to spend a quite evening.

I ask for a cappuccino and I got a pretty much empty cup full of foam, I asked for a proper cup of coffee and they had me waiting for 30 minutes. The staff is so rude. I am willing to pay the price, but I want a well prepared cup of cappuccino. This place is totally overrated.

Expensive but got great pastries. Birthday cakes are delicious, not unbearably sweet, light digestion and good quality. Mango mose is my favorite. The only down side is that there is more mose than actual cake, still its delicious.
