The dude that packed my cake up pushed the flaps against the cake and i didnt think much of it at the time just thought it be a little smush pace in the frosting but opened it at home and it looked like this. Sheesh lol sorry grams cake lol

As is the same with all other 85 degree bakeries, the selection and quality of pastries is excellent. Admittedly I dont go here for their drinks or anything so Im not forming my opinion around those, but I dont think I have to. Just come for the pastries and grab literally anything that tickles your fancy and you wont be disappointed.

I am not much of a coffee drinker, and salted latter sounded weird, but it was the best coffee i had in my life. I love that turtle back looking bun. Not overwhelmingly sweet, and inside is very fluffy.

Decent size place and moves fast with only a few spots to sit inside only. Place was kept up and was clean and stocked well.

Tried milk bread, cake red velvet and Black Forest and cookie. Overall decent taste. Cakes are bit dry and sweeter version.

I ordered my drink, there were no other customers at the time. There were also no one at the drink station. The cashier left the front counter. I waited for perhaps 10 mins before someone emerges from the back. A lady started to make my drink, only to find that they dont have the necessary ingredients. She asked if I would like something else I said no. I proceeded to wait another 3 minutes for them to process my refund. There were no apology for this unsuccessful transaction.To me, a few things went wrong. First they should know they dont have the ingredients for my drink, and disable the ordering; after the cashier took my order, she should have informed someone to make my drink; after they realized they dont have the ingredients, the least they can offer is a simple apology.

Mostly crowded as its famous around this area. Thats bcz its tasty for less dollars. Plenty of snacking options. Visit during eve or grab a desert after meal.Parking is not an issue but very limited seating.

I thought I give this location a second chance, but I am not exaggerating, I gave them 8 chances. I went in and look for my favorite Pineapple chicken bread and all the manager had to say to me is. call me so I can have it ready I said I don´t have time to call you, I am giving you and advice as a word of mouth, I come here at 8:30 am, that is 1.5 hours after you open and you never have this bread. Instead of calming me down and at least let me know she will do her best to have it ready next time, she tells me a bunch of excuses NO ONE wants to hear. I understand she is probably learning, but all I want is a bread.

Honestly i love this place, i really like the frozen taro boba . i try to go as often to get one cause oh lord it’s so good and also their bred is good too very soft and tasty😊

Pretty good pastry, coffee and cake shop. Its open during the pandemic and all the breads are sealed inside plastic wrap. I highly recommend the pastries, you cannot go wrong with those. The drinks are alright not mind blowing but not terrible. I do not really recommend the cakes however they are often leaves something to be desired and for the price I feel you can get a much better cake elsewhere.Come for the pastries and keep coming back for the pastries.

You just cant get enough on this bakery their bread is delicious super soft, careful you tend to binge and but more than planned once you get to choose your bread.

Its great that we finally have an Asian bakery nearby communication hill area. The store looks new and clean. Always crowded, but relatively ok comparing to the line and waiting time at Cha Cha Sushi next door. Quite a lot of choices of cakes and beverages. Taste is as good as other Asian bakery - not too sweet. I have to take two stars off for: one, they dont take Amex card which made me walk back and come again to pay the bill. And two, I made order for hot milk tea with less sugar. Neither of the two special requests fulfilled even I told the cashier three times and she confirmed with me twice. The milk tea itself is good but not the kind I ordered. Will give another try next time.

Its always a treat to go to the bakery cafe its rarely crowded it always smells good from fresh baked goods and the baker is consistent whats good today will taste just as good tomorrow

Decent pastries. A little overpriced and oily. New bakery, but handles on the bread boxes were already damaged/broken. The ham and cheese had a little piece of ham rolled up in the middle. Way too much bread and not enough ham or cheese.

My kid and I love their Chocolate cookie bread and sea salt jasmine tea, we averge come 2-3 times a week pick up whole box fresh bread and boba tea, we been customer since they open... too bad the quality is went down, and just this Capital store.... it start it from 11am outta bread, and the pearl boba is too soft(whichs over cook).... promo this grass jelly but outta jelly,so tell me what you have ? You guys open on 10am n your best seller bread is out of stock on 11am/12pm.I dont really taking my time and get online write a bad reviews.... but last week me and my kid went there on 10:30am....this is what the store looks like..... This mean: they never clean up day before after business hour.... and never cleanup before open.No one care how messy on the cashier counter, how dirty the table n floor... the bedroom (disgusting )from the sink to the floor is a giant mess.I can tell : No more manager there like used to, and the owner never come checking the store.Other 85 degree is not like this.Very disappointed n upset. ( I took a couple pictures.....walking any hour is messy like this ) I took those pictures from 2 different day.

First time here. Got 3 pastries, they were all dank(the mango, chocolate creme cheese, and honey one). Judging by these 3 and what I saw there, literally anything they make would taste dank. Highly recommend

Friendly, clean,and relax atmosphere with limited seating. I see a lot of customers order to go. You might be able to sit and eat if you were an early riser like myself. Try there cheesecake it’s yummy. Long lines but it moves pretty fast. I haven’t tried the coffee but I have tried the cold teas. It’s good enough, that I try not to be in the area because I could drink it everyday. If you love pastries there’s many varieties to choose from.

This has been my favorite bakery store! Today I was surprised to see a new sign Cash Only! I totally understand the COVID-19 has increased the cost of running business, but do you know cash is one of the biggest things that can spread virus? I would rather you adjust price than putting your customers at risk.

Velvet cake was dried but pastries are always solid...and selling cakes but No Candles?????? Really????

Been here a few times because they make very good pastries and other confection, but it is amazing to me when I arrive at 8:30 pm and they have nothing. When I asked if they would have more as they are open until 12 am I was told they got busy earlier in the day so we didnt make anymore. Why be open tell 12 am when you dont have thing to sell

Such a wide variety of pastries and beverages, you cant go wrong! Everything is freshly made. The only downside is that sometimes theyre so busy, the wait is long. And busy enough that orders get lost. But theyre genuine in their apologies and always make it right. Cant ask for more than that!

Fresh bread! Love love love the broiche bread. Fluffy sweet yumminess. The coconut cubes in the refrigerated section is good too!The coffees are always good. I really like the 85 coffee iced and hot version. Not too too sweet and still has that coffee flavor.Definitely recommend downloading their app to build up on points to get free goodies!

Interesting concept, a Taiwanese style bakery. Cakes not as sweet when compared to US style cakes, but still good. Will have to go back and try their pastries. Co-workers really like it, but I could use more sugar and more chocolate to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Best bakery in town. Great variety of pastries but inventory management can be better. Line can get long pretty fast and the team will be more interested in sharing their personal stories behind the register rather than taking care of customers who want to spend money there and go home after a long day at work. Worst, the shop is handled by unprofessional teenagers starting with the manager who daily park her white Audi along with others employees (Nissan 370Z) right in front of the shop making it difficult for customers to find a spot and spend money so the shop can meet goals and pay the employees. Several times after Ive addressed this issue with the manager, I still had to walk with my daughter under the rain just because they were still parking in front of the shop. Good bakery but employees are not business oriented.

Very unique baked goods. Lots of things i dont recognize. If you want a donut keep looking but if you want a fancy raspberry tart then this is your place. They are open late too.

I am giving them 4 stars because of the cakes . I love their cakes regardless of the flavors. .. however black forest and strawberry delight are my favorite. I took out one point because of service at this location.. theres always a line and not enough people helping at register....

Must arrive early in the day to experience any of their offerings. I showed up around 7:45pm the other day and there was barely any baked goods and literally only 3 types of sliced cake for dessert (see pic). I guess this is great for freshness but sorta disappointed that the final 2hrs before closing has almost nothing to offer.Ive shown up 30mins before closing and their drink machines were closed for cleaning; totally understandable.For the staff, theres some really hard working staff but at the same time theres need to be better supervision for the others. I had one worker ask their coworker if he was going to make any drinks for the PAYING customers first... :/

Arrived at 8:45 PM and their shelves were practically bare of breads and pastries. When asked if new baked goods would be made, they said “oh no, we got busy earlier today.”So, exactly why is this business open until Midnight when there’s hardly any selection of baked goods?Oh and it’s been like this for several weeks; the Brioche is the first to run out.

Very appetizing. Service is consistently great. Prices were good for how much you get. Food is similar to a cafe in Indianapolis I loved.

So I like this place... but not in love. The food and cakes are all delicious no doubt. Service is very lacking... stood in line to pay along with 2 people in front of me and 2 behind me... all the workers were to busy doing other things to ring any of us up... and now after spending $20 they want to charge $0.10 for a bag or box to put the assortment of goodies in... like seriously?? I guess I will go the extra quarter mile to Pairs baguette...

First time in this bakery, asked to have a cake that is overpriced 34 dollars to be cut in half. The young lady asked her manager another young lady if they could do that. She said no they cant cut a cake in half.... So I walked out. If you hire young people please train them. If thats your policy good luck...

This Cafe was pretty small. It was also dirty in the seating area. They have all the drink options but the bakery seems limited.

The first 85 Degrees C bakery I went to was in Pasadena, and I liked it a lot. That location would get five stars. There are two reasons this doesnt quite get that fifth star:1. The self-serve bread and pastry section, which is the main draw for most people, is laid out in a way where you can have just four people trying to get stuff and its a huge mess. A little reorganization would go a long way to improving that experience.2. The location itself is so-so. As in, the mall it is part of is not great but not awful either. The area can seem a bit sketchy at night, although Ive never had any problems personally over there.Its a bit on the expensive side, if you get even a little crazy at the self-serve, and the goods arent quite as delicious the next day if you try to keep them long-term, but overall its a nice place to grab snack or desert every now and again.

Im so happy this place opened closer and I dont need to go to Milpitas! Love the milk teas and the strawberry banana smoothie, I always get the milk bun, hot dog bun and brioche. The brioche is my favorite soft and fluffy! Sometimes theres barely any selection but thats fine with me because those above is what I always get and its always there when I come. If you have any recommendations Ill be glad to hear it!

Great shop for sweet and savory pastries. Nice atmosphere, consistently good food, and easy on the wallet. If youve never had food like this you should give it a try and youll probably find something that fits your taste or something youve never had before.

The food was very dry/stale, as if they had been sitting there for several days. Additionally, the quality of the food, as well as the selection is very lackluster

I walked in the ladies bathroom and there was a piece of human poop on the ground.... Obviously its not the restaurants fault. I told the workers so I someone cleaned that mess up. This place is huge - perfect for working or doing school assignments. The selection of baked are amazing. I got the almond cake and I finished the whole thing in like 3 bites. They also have a great selection of drinks such as tea, coffees, and smoothies. Ill probably go back next time just to try out the honey wheat bread.

Busy, busy, busy! Different pastries & variety sweets to choose from every day though, so its worth the trip! The quick delivery of the freshest & more warm foods over the massive crowds that pile in for their warming goodness becomes a wonder- what they do here definitely brings joy!

This is a small 85C. Bakery goods and drinks have the same quality as other 85Cs that I enjoy. It is also busy like the other 85Cs.The past 2 times I went they didnt have a lot of breads in stock, so thats why only 4 stars.I will be coming back for sure!

This is the worst 85C bakery Ive been to. The drinks had a weird after taste, and the staff werent very attentive. They didnt call out all of the drink orders when they placed it on the counter, hence another customer took my drinks my mistake. The staff didnt even correct the mistake or situation. Service and drinks were terrible. Aside from that, when they brought out fresh bread it was cold.Hopefully this is not a trend that their other locations will be following.

The 85 degrees have lots of options for the customers. Ill definitely go there again and get more pastries.The customer service is great too.
