I received such a great spread from this place! A little something sweet near the holidays was needed in our house and boy did they deliver. Get the peppermint bark if you can and the black truffle popcorn decadent savory perfection!

It was a great experience at the candy kitchen. The chocolate covered strawberries and the caramel apples were really good. The prices were quite reasonable.

Nice shop but parking is not convenient. Nearest lot charges $6 per hour in the evenings. I was there maybe 10 minutes & still had to pay $6. Needless to say, my trip cost me $18 for 2 regular carmel apples. Tasty but not worth the trip counting the gas plus parking. Amusement parks still the BEST!

Lots of great treats available in a convenient location for when you are exploring downtown and ceasar Chavez park. They have ice cream, candy, chocolate, fudge, popcorn, and Carmel apples.

I love candy especially candy apples and that old pink popcorn brick. I was let down by the choices available for the popcorn advertised only a couple to choose from. Also I think the fudge was a little stale for my taste I know fudge lasted for a long time so it only makes me think how long was the fudge sitting in that display case. Parking for this ship was also a hassle you have to pay for parking just a 5 minute shipping exodus cost me $6 in just parking fee. I think for the location and the advertising they do they should have more choices and fresher product.

One might think if a local ice cream place was named Cream, that in that area U would find the bigger scoops and fancier cones, while Cream does have fancy cones, their portions are lacking, at the Candy Kitchen their scoops are what one expects 2 get in a fancy ice cream place, large & well balanced upon the cone of Ur choosing, for 7$ I got a yummy double scoop cone there & a few $s more got me a container of cinnamon bears, have also gotten spice drops, wine gums & a hard 2 find English favourite, the licorice all sorts, they also sell yummy caramel popcorn & though I havent yet gotten one, fancy caramel apples & chocolate covered strawberries, so if Ur downtown San Jose & on first street, pass up the place called Cream & try the Candy Kitchen instead, Ull get a bigger scoop 4 less money

This is where the big kids go to feel like theyre in a real candy store. Color organized candy warehouse perfect for the latest trends of candy bars in weddings and party events. Perfect to grab all your favorite sweets into one stop!

I bought a Valentine box but it looks nothing like the picture -.- and the chocolate tasted really bad, my partner did not like the gift at all, so thats $40 wasted and went straight to the trash can. yikes.

Great family run business. I had the cookies and cream milkshake and my wife had a sundae with pralines ice cream. We loved them both. Also purchased some chocolate dipped strawberrys and chocolate chip cookies. They have just about everything for your sweet tooth including Hawaiian Shave Ice which we will definitely be back for next time!

First of all, the owners/managers of this place are incredibly sweet, which really helped my impression of this place. The ice cream and shakes are both pretty good. My favorite reason for coming here though is actually their large selection of flavored popcorn. I brought the garlic parmesean popcorn home, and was hooked. Went back and got the pizza flavored popcorn, and Im probably going to keep going back till Ive had all of the flavors.Some ideas that can make the experience even better:- I saw some candy selection on a shelf, but it would be great to get some popular overseas candies. Maybe some novelty candies too, just to keep the window shopping interesting- I would love to see the fridge stocked with non-standard drinks as wellDefinitely recommend stopping by and supporting this local shop!

Delicious treats everywhere as soon as you walk in. The extreme milkshakes are out of this world and with every penny. The fudge is soft and gooey melts in your mouth, not badly priced either. The owners are extremely nice and helpful even take recommendation on fudge flavors in the future.

Great customer service, very friendly owners, and the place is teeming with delicious treats. Just recently opened and highly recommend checking it out. Im sure the kids will love it while the adults will keep checking their waist lines because once you taste the sweetness, its so hard to lay off. Great atmosphere and located in the heart of downtown San Jose.

Take your family here for sweet treats! We met the owners when they were over at Goodies and always took our nephews and nieces for ice cream and home made chocolates. We are so glad they are relocated on the Paseo so we can enjoy their business and kind company! The new location is bright and the treats are still made with love ❤️

We loved the icecream here, so many options available. The flavors are different and unqiye than available in other parlors. Varities of chocolates and candies too. Price wise I think everything is reasonable and not expensive. Decent place in San Jose downtown. Will be trying again other flavors of ice creams soon.

I was on my way to Johnny Rockets Friday and noticed 3 female Po-Pos entering the Candy Kitchen. Decided to stop by to see what attracted SJs finest - as we all know they are experts at fighting crime and eating doughnuts. LolThat said, I decided to ordered a Strawberry Milkshake..I was asked to pay before they made my shake which took me aback, but I must admit the shake was screaming. Ranking as one of the best shakes Ive ever had.Had they not asked me to pay before they made my order, I would have given them 4 stars.

Nice joint with their variety of popcorn, ice cream flavors, chocolate bark, caramelized apples, etc. (They make the chocolate themselves) You can get frozen bananas, frozen cheesecake, and other different kinds of desserts like an ice cream panini.
