The customer service was really good. Even after dealing with a crazy couple that was fighting amongst themselves and then trying to take it out on the guys behind the counter. They handled themselves with class. Its not hard to be kind!

I called ahead about balloons to check the wait. It was a Saturday morning in summer and I was doing some last minute birthday things. They were able to give me an accurate read on their flow for the day and said to come in soon to avoid any rush and they could do it right away. I drove over and they indeed were ready to help me right away. They put me first in line as a walk in and made the bouquet right in front of me. They pulled extra help from the back to handle the orders and 100% of the staff was helpful and courteous. Its not expected anymore that retail is a pleasant experience and the light conversation with the staff was a surprisingly refreshing moment. Thank you Party City San Jose!!!!!

All in all they had good customer service, and I was able to purchase and have balloons filled fairly quickly. My only complaint is that they were out of a lot of the specialty balloons I was hoping to buy.

Not properly stocked. Very less collection for girl baby shower items. Helium Balloons very expensive at $3.49 compared to same at dollar tree.

3 Stars only for prices. Lots of variety and probably 1 of the best party items store however prices are but high.. dollar tree and Walmart has lot of cheap options. I like the options available here however prices are not great.

Stopped here for some party supplies for an upcoming birthday. Out front they had these bins of hats and they were marked $5 (no other wording just $5). We look through the hats and pick one or two out, go in and find the stuff we needed, and go to check out. The staff was friendly. The first person checked out with party supplies and a hat, no problem but when our second person tried to check out there wasn’t a tag on the hat so the guy has to call someone to help. They go out looking for a hat in the bin that matches to find a tag and as we are about to leave the stuff and walk out they come back in with one. Then they say the hats are 2 for $5 and so we grab one to get for free. It would have been nice if they knew the pricing and told the first person in our group about the 2 for $5 or labeled their bin correctly. By this time we were pressed for time and just left. It was a frustrating experience.

This place is horrible. I ordered a Halloween costume and the online experience was quite good. I used the text message link to notify when I was on my way as well as when I arrived there. I waited for 10 minutes and nobody came out for curb pickup. I then called and the person had no idea whether they even have the costume. Then, after 15 minutes, she brought the costume to the car. When I was in the way back, I realized that it was completely wrong size. I went back and called again and talked to exactly same person and she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about when she herself had delivered the costume to me less than 2 minutes ago. Then, she supposedly tried to find the costume of correct size and after 20 minutes, told me that first, it was no her fault because supposedly, the ticket had wrong size even though my order had correct size. And then, also that she had no costume of correct size even though not only the website said that they did, they also send me an email and text saying that it was ready.It wasted 1 hour of my time and ended up going home with no costume.This place is obviously being run under horrible management.Did I also mention that one of the store clerks had her mask under her nose spreading out her germs?

Seemed like they had a lot of extra help but only a couple associates who could actually help me. The cashier seemed very laid back. When I asked him if he could call another store to check on a costume, he told me I could call or check online myself.

Service means everything to me. I ordered my balloons online, and when they were delivered by Shipt, one of them was complete deflated, while others appeared to be damaged.I called the store and they helped me right away. The manager (Mary) talked to me and texted me to let me know she was delivering me more balloons as soon as possible. I felt bad to have had to ask for more delivered, but I’m a teacher and I couldn’t leave my house due to online teaching all day.Mary brought me 10 more balloons right to my door, and she did so with a smile and an apology. I’m so grateful that this type of service was rendered to me especially during a pandemic. I will be ordering from Party City-Blossom Hill again soon.

Another retail store that is a candidate for bankruptcy. I made a large purchase and received a 20% coupon in my email on my way from the store and they wouldnt apply my discount because I needed the items which I consumed as a bunch of candy at a very large kids camp.

Out of all the times Ive visited this place Ive only had ONE good experience. All the other times the staff seems busy or just unwilling to help. And when they do theyre not really likable. I understand some stores are going out of business but thats no excuse. One reason why online shopping is somewhat better!

The place was a mess, There was no light on to tell us where to go for check out, The person putting air in the belongs didnt know how to do it nor did he know how to curl ribbon. I could go on but you get the idea.

As a visitor from England, I was amazed as scale of Halloween costumes and props available. We do celebrate Halloween but no where near to the level of America. This shop had everything you could ever possibly imagine to create the perfect night!

My curbside was lost and my ice cream cake melted while I waited again.

Organized and friendly staff. Edited: went here again last night for balloons so my son could wake up on his birthday with them throughout the house. Two popped on the way to the car and I paid an extra 12¢ per balloon to make them stay floating for 24hrs instead of 6-8... Well they didnt even last 12 before they were deflated. Very disappointing that only one was floating when he woke up out of the 7 that I bought (5 brought home due to 2 popping).

I got balloons here because I needed a specific occasion balloon that wouldnt be sold in grocery stores. They have special deals with packs of balloons that you can buy. They have anything for any occasion throughout the year.

They have whatd you expect a PC to have. Understocked shelves are what you see most of the time. Helpful staff though.

The worst store. Customer service is the worst in ever had to experience in my entire life. Especially a manager named Sandra, I do not know how they still ouhave her working there when she is the worst manager with the worst customer service. She needs extra training on how to communicate with her peers and people in general. She talks to people like animals and does not know how to appreciate peoples,work. Every time I go in shes never on the floor working until shes called to the front for a customer and she still complains and yells,at whoever is the one who called her for assistance. They need to get rid of her and bring that other Mexican girl who was a supervisor also back because she has more class and respect and is very polite with great customer service experience.

We had a blast here, picking out stuff for my daughters 1 year birthdayI just let my daughter point to whatever balloons and such she wantedand the staff put it all together just the way she wanted.
