Helpful design staff who helped me wade through an overwhelming number of options to narrow down to a reasonable few. Delivery staff was great, being very careful with my walls and patiently rearranging a rug multiple times when I couldnt decide how I wanted it (under the furniture? next to the furniture? this way? that way?).

The Ethan Allen dining room table we purchased has developed scratches, dents and shading in various areas. We rarely use the set. Even with the purchase of their 1 year additional furniture warranty (very expensive), they denied our claim. Very poor quality and even poorer excuse as to why it wasn’t covered. Now I have to look for a furniture refinisher. I was also disappointed with the sofa sectional I purchased at the same time. Never again.

We had a great experience from purchase to delivery. It came in the estimated time, the pieces were excellent quality and the delivery team was top notch.

Our order of furniture taken forever to deliver, and there are no customer service (the sales person did not contact us for any delay in delivery as well), none of their estimated time were met, and the longest pieces took more than 8 months, it is quite frustrating experience. I would think twice next time when we buy furniture from them.

I am responding to the reply by Ethan Allen. All my purchases with all other furniture stores, they were always able to properly load the furnitures to my car when the purchase was customer pickup. If I knew at the time I made the purchase of this chair at this Ethan Allen store that the loading service was not available, I definitely would make different decision about this purchase. But I was not informed at the time of my purchase. 4-29I purchased an arm chair at this store several weeks ago, and decided to pickup the chair myself the next day. When I arrived at the store, a lady pushed the chair through the front door to my SUV, and said I needed to load the chair to my SUV. I asked if she could get some help from the store personnel, but she said there’s no one to help. Ethan Allen really disappointed me.

Ethan Allen designer Nasrin Hosainy was very helpful. She was prepared for our scheduled visit with ideas that matched what we had told her we were looking for.The delivery went smoothly and we are happy with the items we purchased - a new couch and a matching swivel chair.

Ethan Allen always have stylish and quality furnitures. Their prices are not cheap but considering the quality and style, they are worth it because their pieces can last a long time. Their sales are helpful. The delivery can be improved with better communications. But most importantly for the prices, you cannot get better quality and stylish furnitures than Ethan Allan!

I ordered hunter douglas blinds from Ethan Allen for my entire house and was very disappointed with the experience. Ethan Allen staff came to my house to take measurements twice because they said the first time was not done appropriately. The installation takes at least three times, the first time they did some of the windows wrong with one of the blinds two inches shorter than the window itself. We requested for some of the blinds to not block the top of the windows when it is rolled up, but after installation the top of the windows were blocked slightly. For some windows the wands to control the blind was put in the wrong side. In the second installation, they were supposed to come back with the corrected blind to fix the blind that was two inches short but they didn’t. It appears that the communication within Ethan Allen staff and with their third party installer is very poor. Much of our requests when we placed the order were not met by the time they installed the blinds. The second installation was also full of errors, with one of the large windows which has a wand stick that is shorter than the height I requested, so I can not reach the wand at all and it is not operable. I have been promised by Ethan Allen that they will fix these issues when they come back again for the third time. So in sum, our experience included lots of lack of communication in between representatives that assisted us during this process and lots of communication issues with their third party installer. The customer service was great from each of the staff, but they just didn’t get the job done right. I would not work with them again or recommend them.

Always a great experience with Ethan Allen. shopping, selecting, discussing custom options, all the way through to delivery. many more than five stars.

Ordered a headboard over six months ago - it keeps getting delayed. If I wanted sub par manufacturing, I would have had someone that does not charge high prices. Supremely disappointed.
