Besides prices going up they still have what I need and for majority cheaper than a lot of the beauty stores that close hella early!

Everything I had in my hand that I was going to purchase; I just left it all there and went home. This place is an absolute joke and so is the owner, He is so noticeable while he follows me around. I come in here maybe once every 2 months due to the fact my mom is constantly doing hair styles on me. I walk around looking and the owner just makes you feel like a criminal; We have spent a lot of money in the past here so it was making me real uncomfortable that he was just standing right next to me watching; this is like 3/4 time he made me feel this way, today had to be the worse experience for me. I work hard everyday for my money & I just want to come in look around buy my products and dip. The owner Never once asked if I needed help He was just watching me, acting like he was doing other things but it’s so obvious he is just not taking his eyes off me. I will not come back here ever again, I will be more than happy to go over to Nefertiti’s and spend my money there. This man clearly has no respect especially to the race that is making him the most money.

I used to enjoy visiting this store until I began to notice the guy that works there would literally follow and watch my every move. While I understand the need to protect your merchandise, it became clear to me that it was nothing more than racial profiling as I watched others walk in the store but he made it a point to watch me and needless to say I no longer patronize this business. I, am not a thief!!! 😣

Has some product selection. However, lacks customer service. “N” word and other inappropriate language played constantly in their music played loudly throughout store. Employees typically aren’t helpful & can be disrespectful. Obviously their management needs to be replaced! The entire staff needs to be replaced with people who are trained in proper customer service and interpersonal communication!

My go to store for hair, its the best and the only one around worth going to.

Moving to a new city, I always look for the beauty supply store to meet the needs of my ever-changing haistyles. I cannot say enough goods things about New Star Beauty. Short version... There are 2 things I look for: inventory variety, quality and great customer service, thats three...lol. From day one til now this beauty supply has it all. I will continue to travel the distance to spend my $ at New Star Beauty because I usually get what I want and more. Check em out and see for yourself.

I dont lie the way the owner constantly follows you around.there is an employee that is so rude every time I shop this store at the Eastridge mall location.some wigs ate over priced and the hair continues to fall off the wig on a constant.
