I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich and noticed it was a bit hard to eat ... turns out they didn’t bother to make the lettuce smaller and instead gave it to me in a big bulk 🙂🙃.

Tasty bagels! Crunchy on the outside and cloudy-soft inside. Great pairing with sundried tomatoes cream cheese.

Fast, friendly service. Bagels made the traditional New York style way: boiled in water, then baked. Delicious! Lots of bagels, drinks, and choices. I have been coming here for over 15 years. I love my custom-made bagel sandwich: lox, avocado, tomato on a poppy-seed bagel!

They’re ok, although I’ve noticed that they make up charges on the fly and you won’t pay the same price (for the same order) twice. A very poor business practice, especially when you make it noticeable.

Making their bagels from scratch on the premises! Their Crunch style bagels are unique. The Blueberry Crunch is to die for. They sell out so get in early or be sad.

Their food is always the best - their smoothing are AMAZING. PLUS anytime I make a special request for an item they always get it right. I went in for a pickup order and the service was fast and friendly despite them being super busy. Hard working bagel store with great food to prove it. They also have the absolute BEST tasting croissants my mouth dropped when I ordered the hot ham and cheese croissant.

Always check your receipt at this place, they keep over charging for something that you didnt order. :(

I love this begals BUT the employees DONT CHANGE THEIR GLOVES when they already touched the register or the credit card from the person before you, then is your turn to order and they go and take YOUR BEGAL with the same dirty gloves,, this is the 3th time that I ask them to change their gloves and get a new begal for me, Ive talked to the owner already but they keep doing the same.I think the last step is call the health department, because I pay and I deserve to get clean and safe food specially during this pandemic, Covid-19 COULD BE ANYWHERE!!

We came at about 9:30 on a busy Saturday morning. We both ordered the open face lox sandwich (our favorite). The wait wasnt too bad considering how busy they were.So I was a bit disappointed when I got the sandwiches. The lox -- the star of the show -- was very skimpy; just a few slivers of a single slice. There was perhaps and once on each sandwich, thats it. The produce and bagel were fresh, but the skimpy portions of the main ingredient left me unimpressed to say the least. Im undecided if well be back.

Love going here. Always fast and friendly service. Lots of fresh bagel options, also fresh croissants. They also have a few hot coffee brews, as well as some cold blended coffees.

Some of the best bagels Ive ever had. Quick service, great food, good prices; what more can you ask for?Note: when I say quick service, I mean that the staff gets through orders quickly. However! The lines here get insanely long. This place is extremely popular and you can usually expect a wait unless you just want bagels in a bag to go, no toasting, toppings, etc.

Excellent bagels, sandwiches are very tasty with plentiful condiments. Coffee is excellent but the variety is often restricted. The prices are reasonable and the shop is always busy. Very friendly staff which adds to the already pleasant visit.

Main St Bagels is simply delicious. They were right down the block from me and allowed me to enjoy their Vegetarian and Vegan options on the fly. Love it. Next time Im in that area. Im definitely grabbing two bagels to go.

Usually a 5-10 minute wait, but everything on the menu is worth the price. They sell sandwiches, savory bagels, sweet bagels, and a very large selection of drinks. If you find yourself in the area, you absolutely have to stop by and try their blueberry crunch bagel. With crispy, crystallized sugar on the outside and fresh baked blueberries on the inside, its like the breakfast version of candy. I highly recommend it plain and toasted.

First time purchasing food at main street bagels on Blossom Hill road in San Jose, CA. I had a #6 bagel sandwich and I ordered a # 4 sandwich on croissant bread and hubby enjoyed it. 2 thumbs up. Service is quick and efficient.

Love to walk here for fresh bagels. A little tougher than posh bagels but delicious and convenient. It is always packed on the weekends!

Bagels are good. Customer service is a nightmare. People who work there seem to have an impression that Customers come there to take $ from them and they have to scream, yell and shout at them to protect their $. A little bit of integration into the American customer service ethos would do them good.

Very good bagels and already. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff, but sometimes there is a language barrier. Coffee is average at best. Breakfast sandwiches are very good. Plenty of parking and some inside seating. Bet the blueberry crunch bagel and strawberry spread for a sweet breakfast treat.

I ordered online and when I went into the store I waited for 30 min to find out they didn’t even start my order. I stood there watching the line go by as my order which I had placed before any of them was left unattended. This lack of organization and customer service is unacceptable. I have been a long time customer but I guarantee you I will NEVER come here again.

Great little shop, I stop here every Saturday morning to get a couple bagels and coffees. If youve never tried Main St Bagels I suggest giving them a try, the jalapeno cheese bagels are amazing

I have been going to this place the last 2 years. I work near this place. The service is fast and efficient. They are very professional and know your time is important. What is awesome is that they remembered my orders and gets me in/out quicky. The food is great and of course fresh. One time I came in the afternoon and they gave me several bagels because they did not want to sale the older bagels (aka half day old) to their customers.

Bad service, no smiles and rude. To much cream cheese on the bagel. The brewed coffee was horrible

It took 4 times repeating my order until the cashier understood it (bagel with cream cheese on the side). Order with drinks came out in four pieces (2 bagels, 2 drinks). 21 MINUTES to complete an order with 2 bagel, 1 coffee, 1 orange juice. If this place existed in NYC, it would have been out of business in less than three days. Oh, and the food is good awful, plus the employees couldnt care less about trying to help a customer.

Good bagels, mediocre coffee. I was disappointed in bagels in the Bay Area after moving from New York, but then I came across Main St Bagels and they have been my best bagel in Santa Clara county.

I dont get bagels often but when I do this is where I go. Their bagels are always fresh with the perfect amount of texture and flavor.

It wasnt what I though it was cracked up to be. Bagel was stale and they charged me $9 for a bagel with lox and cream cheese and a cup of tea. Water for tea wasnt even hot.

Fair. Cream cheese tasted and looked like sour cream and less like cheese. Customer service was average and very pushy. And hazelnut coffee tasted more like watered down coffee. Maybe i came on a bad day? Ill change my review if next time is better.
