Excellent service!!!!!! Highly Recommend It!! Professional Staff!It took me a few months to find the car I wanted since this is my first mercedes. Whenever I went to a car dealership to just look for a car I always felt pressured by the salesman to just buy the car and that is the reason it took me this long.I decided to try this location since my cousin recommended it to me too, he always had an amazing experience there and I am so glad I took his word for it. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed and asked if I needed anything to drink, and I was asked about what exactly I am looking for. The salesman didn’t just rush and try to get me hooked in a car, we walked around and showed me all the options I have. Most importantly also they heard me out, they were listening carefully to what I want and my budget. They were super busy and had so many customers inside and that didn’t affect the quality of the customer service I received and they didn’t rush me into buying (I feel like that is the most important part when car shopping). Qais and Teddy were super helpful, and I ended up getting the car I wanted. Its been a few weeks already and I am so happy with my purchase. Both Qais and Teddy followed up with me a few days after to make sure everything is good and I am happy with the car + I got a generous gift with my car too!For any service in the future for my car I would also go to them even though it’s 45mins away from my home, WORTH it!!

Service for my 2007 E350Received the best treatment at MBSJ. I took my car for oil change service and engine light check. Since my car is old, I expected to get a large bill, but instead I only paid for the oil change and battery replacement. My car was cleaned from top to bottom and runs great.The team running the service department are the nicest and most courteous people, specially Victoria.I will bring my car back again when I need to have my car serviced again.

Anthony Lorenzo was my service consultant. He was very informative and encouraging when they had to keep my car much longer then expected. He was able to get me loaner car without hesitation; very much appreciated. When I needed an update, he promptly provided upon my request in a more than reasonable time. All other employees (don’t have their names), from from the time I dropped off my vehicle til’ I picked it up (bout’ 3-4 weeks later due to part delay/authorization from Germany), were all very helpful, professional and courteous. Thanks again Mercedes on Capital Expressway for the great service!

Tl;DR - Albert Paradorn Sumner and the whole dealership cannot be trusted under any circumstances. They will harass you, lie to you, bully you, con you, agree to deals then refuse to honor those deals, all while being very creepy. Go to literally any other Mercedes dealership if you must have a Mercedes. I have filed a formal complaint with Autonation and the Better business bureau of Santa Clara County due to all the above and more practices.Truly the worst experience dealing with any business ever. Do not I repeat do not trust this dealership under any circumstances. Paradorn Albert Sumner is truly the most despicable salesmen to ever sell cars and yes I am aware its not the most honorable profession in general.

Bought a GLE this year. Terrible service after buying the car. More than 10 minutes waiting for a person picking up my phone. More than 50% time the person directly transferred me to voice mail. Even a person picked up and asked me about my situation, no real action is taken!!! DO NOT BUY HERE, if you wanna some real service

I went to this dealership to look and see, but decided to stay because of Albert Sumner. His excellent service was the reason I had business at this place (I have been working with another Mercedes Benz dealership for almost 10 years). Albert was nice and professional, but even more important is that he really put a lot of effort to help me solving my problem as if he were my close friend, even though I just met him that day. I was feeling lucky that the first person I met was Albert when walking into this dealership. I will definitely refer all my friends to here for their car needs.

Worst MB dealer. You can buy a car for 80 thousand dollars, 100 or 150, but the quality of services will be at the lowest level. You will have to wait for hours and days, you will fill out a lot of paperwork, in which the dealer will make a huge number of mistakes and errors (hello Antonio 😬).After such errors, I have been unable to get my license plate for almost a year. And the sellers simply do not answer your cAlls. They are busy with new clients. I hope that after such feedback they will answer us.

The advisor had seen similar problem before but we ended up fixing it in two trips because of SOP set by Mercedes. If they allow the advisor to take actions based on the experience then likely one less trip.The advisor was very nice with me and explained things in full detail.

I went in (5/21/2021) for a recall check of the sunroof but despite the fact that my car was not one of those in question! The dealership ran a health check on my vehicle and did a very thorough (complimentary) car wash before releasing it back to me! I almost failed to recognize my car because it was sparkling clean especially they did a good job on my tires and they all came back with tire shine! ( A round of applause for the guy who did it.)My original assigned service advisor was on leave that day and Antony Lorenzo took good care of my vehicle and he personally released it back to me! (which saves me the wait!)Again a round of applause to Tony!!(He meticulously went through every details of the health checks report which will be taking care of later)!Highly recommend this dealership to anyone who needs his/her vehicle taking care of!Forgot to mention in my earlier post they serve very nice Peet’s coffee in the waiting room which is clean and quiet!A big round of applause to the dealership!Keep up with the good work!!

He would give us an update from time to time regarding the status of our car due to we have faulty sensors and our car wont run! He took care of our car and did it on timely manner! Had a great experience until recently. One year after buying my new Mercedes and trading in my old car I’m being charged for towing services for the car I traded in a year ago. I was sent to collections and was told this will affect my credit. Either the dealership didn’t submit all the proper paperwork to dmv or there is some fraud happening. I spoke to the manager of the dealership and they have failed to follow up with me, however they did make copies of my paperwork. I’m very disappointed and if there is no follow up within the next day or so I will be taking further action.

Anthony, who was my service advisor helped from start to finish. He was able to make the experience much better than it could have been. Great interpersonal communication skills and really kept up with Covid safety protocol. The service department was in very clean order and everyone is really friendly. These guys are sketchy. I went to check out a car that was listed on their website at $14k. I liked the car and wanted to buy it, so they had me sign a quote for that price and they told me the car needed some work, so they’d call me when it’s ready. They called me a week later to tell me they changed their minds and wouldn’t do a deal with me for less than $15.5k. Completely wasted my time. Definitely not to be trusted. P.S. Two days later, as of this writing the car is still being advertised on their site for $14k….

Joseph Sanfilippo did a great job!I dont write many reviews, but this is well warranted. I was first impressed with Joeys communication. Email, phone, and text, he was there for me even on his days off. I really knew what I wanted and he did not try to upsell me at all. He was able to get me a vehicle from another dealership in a day. I bought the car in less than 4 hours.Joseph and Finance Manager Dusan were both fantastic. Joseph has even been keeping great communication with me on the car weeks after I bought it. I didnt even spend $50k, but they treated me as if I bought an S Class. Im very happy choosing Mercedes and very happy with Mercedes-Benz of San Jose.

I used Mercedes of San Jose to replace my cracked windshield with an OEM part and to have my key FOB checked since it was not working correctly.First about the windshield, I did place the order with the parts department and I did not hear from them after about a week and a half. I called back and talked to someone in the department and he had to do some investigating to see what happened. No return phone call (not good)! I called back again and talked to Cathy, she looked into it and found the windshield was ordered, received, but it was damaged so, they had to reorder. Cathy promised me that she would call me back when she received an ETA and/or received it. She did come through on her promise and called when the windshield came in and confirmed it was there.When I came in for my appointment, I showed up at 7:20am and the person who was supposed to meet me was not there. Another service person met me. I told him I was there for the windshield replacement and I wanted them to look into the key FOB. I stated that i had to use the manual key to open it and when I run it for a bit, the key FOB works but if I let the car sit overnight, it longer functions. I waited while he checked me in and when he returned, I was told the windshield had to be ordered. I told him it was physically at MBZ of San Jose and he had no record of it. He did some more investigating and finally found it, the windshield was under a new part number.I finally got the windshield fixed and went to pick it up and was told everything was done. I paid for the services and they went to retrieve my car. I heard the attendant yell that the key FOB was not working and he could not open it with the manual key. I had to get the key from him and opened the door. I talked to the service person who told me they did a function test and everything worked. I did the same thing but they did not do anything other than hitting the buttons. I was told that I had to make another appointment so they could do diagnostics on the system. If they just would have taken a proactive approach, they could have rectified the problem. Disappointing!To fix the key FOB issue, I took it to another place. I am just not impressed with the service I receive from Mercedes of San Jose!The windshield seems to be fixed but, I was also alerted that the installation was done my an outside source. When I called earlier, I was told they did it.I am not likely to use them in the future. I would have given them one star but, they did have it installed correctly and Cathy (parts department) did follow through on her communication.

Came in from traveling cross country on my Sprinter RV. Had issues with warning lights coming on. Came into the Sprinter Service Department, which was very busy, and described my problem to them. They were able to resolve my issue with a sensor problem that day. Very happy with the service and ability to take my issue that day and resolve it.

I bought a beautiful 2015 E400 Cabriolet in early December of last year. Paid cash, and extra to ship it cross country. That all went well. As of today, 7 months later, I am still waiting for the title. I cannot register the car, and it is not legal to drive. Ive had conversations with my salesperson, who has been trying to help, but absolutely no communication whatsoever from the dealership or management to even acknowledge the issue. Ive left many messages for the GM and their DMV people, yet no one has even attempted to explain what the problem might be. Auto Nation owns this dealership. I contacted their Customer Concierge service, was promised a call back and resolution within 48 hours. That was 3 weeks ago, they still have not called back.

Cannot rave enough about the great experience and customer service I had here at the San Jose Mercedes-Benz dealership. I bought an Extended Warranty from MB San Jose on a Pre-Owned Purchase. The car had 1 year left on the Factory Warranty plus came with the Extra Pre-Owned Warranty, i.e. it 2 years left per the deal. I bought the 7 Year Plan on the basis of the attached extract from my agreement Coverage begins when the factory warranty ends. Essentially I paid to extend the warranty for an extra 6 years( i.e. 7 years from the Factory Warranty less the 1 year Pre-Owned Warranty they were already throwing in). Now their system shows that the Plan has already ended at 3 years from the end of the Factor Warranty not 7 years. They have essentially started the 7 years from the initial sale not the end of the Factory Warranty per the agreement. Where are my extra 4 years? I didnt/and wouldnt have paid $3,500 for just 2 year extension on a 11k mileage car that I expected to add minimal mileage to! No one in finance has returned my call to remedy this and fix what looks like an inputting error. Beware!

We came in after an unsatisfactory experience at the Stevens Creek Mercedes dealership. We fell in love with a special edition showroom new model which was behind another car. Joey happily pulled out both cars immediately and it was a completely efficient positive experience. The two test drives were really comfortable. Not completely planning to buy a car we ended up driving out with one ultimately due to the experience. We really enjoyed the sales manager as well when discussing terms.

Great service! Excellent communication from service writer David Troung, When I pulled in to the driveway to drop off my vehicle, to when I arrived to pick it up. The lady behind the counter was kind and quick, asked if there was anything else they could do for me. This is what it is supposed to be like when taking your car in. My vehicle is 20k miles and still under warranty. The AC is not getting, I called this place to schedule a service, they told me to pay $250 to run diagnostic beforehand even though I said my vehicle was still under warranty and I just bought not even a year yet.I called Staven Creek location, they didn’t say anything and the car was fixed free.

Bill was the service advisor for our 2018 sprinter (RV) which had the check engine light turn on the day before the appointment.He set clear expectations, indicating that it could take 3-4 hours, but he understood that we needed the van since we were sleeping in it. He prioritized having it checked out, and they got it resolved within two hours, getting us back on the road quickly.As a bonus, they checked tires, topped off levels, and it was all at no charge.We will definitely go there again for service.

I ordered a new 2021 E53 Coupe from Mercedes of San Jose in August of 2020. Due to parts being unavailable and other COVID related problems, the build took several months longer than expected. When the car finally arrived, the factory had not installed one of the packages I had ordered. My sales contacts at Mercedes of San Jose, Tedi and Antonio, had the error corrected and the package installed to my satisfaction. I took delivery and am very satisfied with their service and the vehicle.

I took my 2021 GLS 580 for low tires pressure, without any appointment. Ramsin along with support team greeted me. After visual inspection they saw a nail in the rear tire, that could not be fixed due to the nail being to close to the outside wall.Ramsin took time to see if they had tire available but it was out of stock so I need to leave my GLS at so they could order tire and file claim on my tire warranty. But I need the car and they did not have any loaner car available.Ramsin told me to take my car and he will try to get me a loaner if one becomes available. To my surprise he called me in 2 hours with good new that he was able to arrange a loaner for me.Long story short.. Ramsin went above and beyond to accommodate me and answer all my questions. And ended up replacing two tires due to nails.🙃🙄😩I will highly recommend Ramsin and MB San Jose for your service needs.

They just said okay, go to your other dealership. So, thats the worst Mercedes Benz representative in the ares. Stay away from this place.

I brought my Winnebago RV/Sprinter van in for a recall. The recall was addressed and no other service was required at this time. This was the second time that I have brought my RV there for servicing. The facility is attractive, easy to locate and has comfortable waiting areas. The staff seems competent.My only slight complaint is that both times I made an appointment to bring in my vehicle and both times I have had to wait quite a while (45 minutes) before even meeting with my service rep. I drive from the Monterey area and we hurry to make our appointment time. It would be nice to receive the same courtesy.

My husband and I went a few days ago to look at a used GLC 350E, that we were ready to buy. After spending some time in the parking lot looking at cars, with no one approaching to offer help, we went inside the office where there were about 4 staff members standing around the desk. It took them 5 minutes to notice us and grudgingly ask if we need help. I was very tired after working all week and having a chronic medical condition. Nobody offered us a seat, or water. I guess we were not dressed up to par for this dealership!Finally, a sales person was presented to us, he did not know the car inventory. During the test drive we asked about the mileage/gallon being a hybrid car, and he told us that the car gets 56-59 mi/gallon! Since we currently own 2 hybrids already, we knew this was not a realistic number.We still decided to buy the car and negotiate, but they informed us they won’t negotiate the car at all, even though we had proof of similar cars at other local dealerships. They said it was against their company policy to negotiate. We wanted to trade in our car.Although we had a print out from Kelly Blue Book evaluation for the trade in value, and they claimed they give fair trade values; they came back with $6000 less than the Blue Book said our car was worth. Our car is in excellent shape.We were prepared to put a good amount of money down, besides the equity that we have in our car. The salesperson even stated that “you are not buying a car tonight because “she” meaning me, the wife, “is tired”. Not knowing that I have a chronic medical condition and never showing any consideration. It felt more like we were pushed out of the door so they would not have to stay a bit later.We left and will never go back there. We felt that we were made fun of and wasted our time. Those young salespersons and “managers” need customer training, need to learn respect, and make that work place be like the luxury place that is supposed to be. Very Poor customer service, disregard for clients, lack of motivation.

Arrived 8:10 for 8:00 service appointment only for recall checks. Multiple vehicles in line & no service writer was available, so I was advised to wait in the customer lounge.He arrives @ 8:35 and says the work will take 2 hours. The actual work order was time stamped 8:58.Only thing I requested was repair to seatbelt retractor - which did not happen!No contact by 11:20 - so I went looking and found my C300 parked in the finished area, where I was told it had been for awhile.Then I had to wait for them to find the paperwork, another 20 minutes. Did not see David! Or anyone from the service team.Picked up my car with the drivers seat belt extended and laying on the floor?!?Next car will be a Lexus

I recently brought my van in for an emissions modification. I will think twice about ever going back, even though Ive had the van serviced there for years. I booked the appointment more than a month in advance knowing I would be on a tight schedule and needed to catch a flight out of SJC that night. What I did not know is that the scheduling service is no longer on site - In fact it is hundreds of miles away in another state. In the week preceding the appointment I called at least 4 times to try and confirm everything, including my need for same day service. Each time I was told that the service advisor was out on the floor or busy with a customer but would call me back. I never received a call back. Turns out none of my call back messages was conveyed to the on site service advisor. When I showed for the appointment, I was told for the first time that they would need the vehicle for at least 2 days, creating a major headache for me. Kudos to the service advisor, Bill, for arranging to store the vehicle until I got back from my trip. But really, the call center just straight up lied to me. The whole set up is not to be trusted. Why do business with a place you cant trust?

Worked with Antonio at the Capitol location. My lease was up and I had actually moved to so cal. We did most of the searching and work over the phone and using email. Antonio was super helpful and resourceful the entire process. Even overcame a hurdle when another dealership accidentally sold the car we chose, and he found the same one newer model that same week! Definitely will work with Antonio again and highly recommend his services.

I love Mercedes but the quality of service has gone way down. Upon arrival nobody helped me check in. I was standing there for 10 min and I see the service advisors just standing in one of the offices “chatting”. As my service advisors came, he didn’t even apologize for the wait and he was less than friendly. Same thing happened when I picked up my car...I was there for a good 30 min. Nobody approached me. I had to go in for help to pick up my car. And again, my service advisor was just standing there until he realized I was one of his clients. He got the car and drove it up but again, no apology, no explanation and just said here you go, handed me the key and walked away. He never talked to me about the service or anything. As I drove off and got home, I realized that my right vent wasn’t working right when it was in excellent condition when I dropped it off. Now, I have to bring it back and deal with them again. I suggest, you go to another Mercedes dealership to have your car serviced and be treated like a VIP. My experience with this one was horrible. :(

This was my first service experience at Mercedes-Benz of San Jose.I had one previous experience with the other big Mercedes dealer in town who shall remain nameless, but you can guess. I was treated rudely there and repeatedly lied to by the service manager.On the other hand, Bill at Mercedes-Benz of San Jose treated me with dignity and was diligent in helping to identify and fix a warranty issue. This is how I would expect to be treated my a Mercedes dealer. Theyve earned my future business. Two thumbs up.

Service needs to improve big time.. the detailing and cleaning for the vehicle was not good and I had to take the car the second time for follow-up. There are other issues that came up just after the service and the vehicle is now being diagnosed for issues. It’s been 3 days now but hopefully the issue is resolved now when the car is handed over. I just popped into MB of San Jose on a Sunday afternoon. I had some idea what to get. Paradorn Albert Sumner came out to greet me and help. Albert was very knowledgeable of the product and competitors.. We looked at a few cars and sat down with him explaining what we were looking for and where (other places). He brought up the other cars on the computer at other places and compared them in detail for us. Sort of, one stop shopping. We ultimately bought a car from him. Simple.But, that not the best part. My experience when buying a car...once you leave, your on your own... Well.... I had a few questions a 6 weeks latter and he got right on it, answered, connected back with me, helped and left his personal phone number and checked back to see if everything was OK.Folks, this is customer services after the sale!!!!. Unheard of in the car business. In my book Albert just reset the bar for auto sales persons.

The entire service experience was terrible. I had a confirmed appointment with confirmation email and they could not find it in the ‘System’.The entire maintenance history of the car is on Carfax but Mercedes of San Jose could not find it in the ‘System’. They will reply back to the review with dead end voicemail number.Don’t know what kind of system was running on their computers. No loaner cars or any kind of courtesy in general. Have seen better Chevy dealerships.Will write a detailed email to Mercedes corporate also. Please go to other Bay Area dealerships.

I purchased my car in the time of COVID 19. This was a distance purchase as I live about 275 miles from the dealership. So there were challenges to getting this done and be comfortable doing so.The challenges: A. I was not comfortable flying to SJ - concern about contracting COVID, B. the drive down would cause the Autonation warranty to expire (due to distance), and C. I couldnt see the car in detail.Why it was worth the risk: the car is well priced, truly stunning in an uncommon color combo (steel grey over dark red leather), and a Mercedes-Benz dealer would generally not sell this aged care if it werent in way better than expected condition for its age.In the end the MB or San Jose bent over backwards to make sure I was happy, the car was indeed in great shape, and they extended the Autonation warranty until I could get the car checked out by a local technician to make sure Id love the car.

I made an appointment to get a smog test for my 96 SL. I showed up early and was met by a service advisor who offered coffee and the waiting lounge while the test was run. After my car sat in the service drive for about an hour, I went into the service managers office to find out how soon the test would be completed because I had an upcoming appointment. He apologized profusely and immediately took the car in to have the smog test run. A few minutes later the car came out and I was told that they couldnt run a smog test on the car because it had to be done on a dyno which they dont have. They did give me the name and number of a place down the street that does the tests. It was a busy day for me and I wish that I had been told about their inability to run a smog test when I made the reservation.

Team was nice but communication and service was horrible. I understand it takes time to get parts and do the job (I just wanted it to be done correctly). Had a hinge replaced because it was faulty when we bought it. It rubbed off the paint on my fender when it opened wrong. They send out the hinge to get painted and put it on great but didn’t paint the spot the faulty hinge rubbed off. Why not just get the smallest touch up paint tube for me when they mixed the paint for the hinge. Just overall poor foresight. When I told them they said they would get in touch with their warranty department and get back to me. No one has gotten back to me and it’s been three weeks. I would never go there again for a repair.UPDATE:Contacted by Manager Scott by email to call him to make it right. Called him twice and left message. Its been over a week and he’s not gotten back to me. Frustrated by this whole experience. Avoid getting your car serviced here. You’ll just spin wheels.....

Bill Beller was very helpful and they completed the work pretty quickly. We did not like sitting in the waiting room with masks, but all the staff were masked up and it felt pretty safe. They do have outdoor seating but nothing covered or warm for the rainy weather that day.

My moms car had a recall and needed to make an Appt. The lady I spoke with was nice and helpful in accommodating my drop off time. The day of service I arrive and was immediately greeted and met with my service rep shortly after. He explained the service and approx how it would take and why would be performed if needed. Few hours later, I called and text that the car was complete and ready for pickup.The service team made the whole process effortless and didn’t go trying to sell me all these services. They asked if I wanted anything else for the car and that was that. Overall good experience and good people.
