Clean and very organized. Makes us want to come back when we go south. There are also mini restaurants where you can dine in. Korean or Japanese fusion. They all taste yummy.
Food quality is good. Some things can be a bit expensive compared to other good quality farmers market. The specialty items is where its at! I come here for the fresh sushi and other specialty foods! I recommend to purchase regular veggies/fruits else where.
Love this H mart. Better quality food than ranch 99. Especially their seafood
Very clean and a lot of Chinese and Korean produces and products. We usually load up marinated meat or special cut meat before having Chinese hot pot or Korean BBQ.
Wow. What a beautiful store. This is the cleanest & most well stocked & organized store I’ve ever seen. Gustavo, Mauricio & Maria helped me fill an Instacart order today. So POLITE. I’ve never seen such an impressive fish selection of biblical proportions. I love this market. I can’t wait to be back to shop for myself.
Nice and big Korean grocery store conveniently located in Cupertino right off of Hwy 85 and De Anza Blvd. The plaza is blessed with a large parking lot, and you can also find awesome Taiwanese bakery (85c), Taiwanese fruit tea (Yifang), and many others.H Mart is the new grocery store here, and they sell the crowd favorites like BBQ meats, deli goods, and Kimchee if that floats your boat. Everything else is similar to a Safeway with produce sections, and snack aisles.
Great variety of Korean grocery items as well as several in-store dine-in restaurants with really good food. Also - youll find some not-easy-to-come-by Kimchi dishes and imported fresh and frozen Korean produce. Great store!
Very good supermarket with wide range of Asian groceries and Live sea creatures
Great place to buy groceries! I go here to get the meats for butter pan dinners! It does get crowded and people really dont see where theyre going sometimes. The seafood is well priced. Same with some of the nicer cuts of beef. Veggies are way cheaper than a Safeway or Luckys so thats a plus.
Not a lot of people which was good since the san francisco one is packed, lots to choose from and pretty fresh for the raw food.
One of the best seafood department in this area produces are fresh but not locally grown. Items not on sale are a little pricey. Organized and clean. Customer service is good. I do not suggest anyone go there on weekends, you will be caught in the parking lot for a while. Some crazy drivers act crazier.
Clean and well organized Korean market with a large fresh food and seafood section.
Every other H Mart Ive been to has been ratty but this one was very nice. I feasted on all of the freshly cut fish with my eyes. Great selection but slightly confusing kimchi aisle.
Great store! I love the variety of snacks, meats, and just plain delicious Korean food. Parking isn’t the greatest, it’s gets pretty packed. Overall good experience!
Cheap asian food. Love this place. Good prices and variety
Great selection of fresh seafood and ingredients. Only knocking off points for the employee who hit me with a cart and just looked at me while walking away.Accidents happen but even a simple “sorry” would’ve been courteous.
Good stuff.... Unique Asian items
Parking can be tough here. Shared with 85C, yifang. This is the smaller of the two San Jose H Marts. Some items like the salmon sashimi are cheaper here than the SF H Mart. Clean. Has security. 99 ranch close by if you want more chinese options. H Mart is a Korean supermarket.
Have many interesting oriental stuff, but not staffed well. Cannot find any help other than the billing counters who are super busy.
I love H mart, and the selection of items. We love over an hour away so ot was a treat visiting this location. The fruits and vegetables look incredible.
The market had a wide variety of Asian and American products but they day we went (Monday around 1 pm) the shelves were somewhat empty. The food court offered 2 Korean and 1 Japanese fusion options. Seating felt limited and the whole store felt a little cramped. The seafood looked really good as well as the marinated and sliced meats. The shabu also looked very good.
Very organized and clean! The selection of food was great. I liked how the checkout lines were handled.
Had all the Chinese vegetables that I wanted. Didnt have to go so far to get them.
Good. But little narrow parking area.
Great place to find Asian food. Parking lot is crowded on weekends.
This Korean supermarket is here for the third time. There are many things in it, whether it is for Koreans or for Chinese people. For Chinese people, most of the products are relatively expensive. The others are very good!
Love the precut meats here so delicious making knbq
This place is awesome!!!They have a lot of items from produce to grocery to meat, seafood they even have housewares and personal items!. Its like a place that they got everything. They have a lot of alcohol from the east and west, a nice pair for their sashimi that looks so fresh. As an Asian market, they do have a LOT of rices to choose from! They have Kimchi, and Korean foods inside as well. And If you get hungry from all those shopping, they do have a food court inside with delicious food!Check their Seafood section as well they have a lot of fresh fish, live abalones, and live Dungeness crabs!.This asian store has Western groceries as well. And finally the Produce section, they have a lot of Veggies and fruits that looks so good.My experience on this place is very good, the employees are friendly, the market is located at a plaza where youll find almost anything.Would come again for sure5/5 would recommend for your grocery needs
Great selection of premade Korean food options.
Great store, aisles are pretty tight though.
Ready made food were not good and expensive for what you get
Lots of good looking food, but just be sure you know what you want and where to find it. I went there with a photo of a food package that I wanted to buy. I asked two employees if they carried it and where to find it, but one spoke Korean and the other did not know. I ended up searching every aisle, but I could not find it.
Great place for good meat and seafood and reasonable prices. Excellent for also getting fruit and vegetables as well. Very clean and well kept, one of my familys preferred Korean grocery stores, we loved the chain when we lived in Vancouver, just wish they would bring one to the East Bay.
In A Nutshell:-East Coast Korean grocery store H Mart (not to be confused w/ South Koreas infamous e-mart) finally graces the Bay Area w/ its hangul presence.-I do wish the location was more central (its on the border of Cupertino, Saratoga, West San Jose).-Tons of fellow Koreans in attendance for the Grand Opening (4/5/17).-I dont see much inside to really point-out.-Small to mid-sized grocery store.-Small food court w/ three options: Korean, Japanese & Chinese food.-Checkout was surprisingly speedy, however, I would wait to judge this after the Grand Opening.Overall, for now I think I will continue to support local & shop at Super Kyopo!
Double charged and they refuse to refund.Poorly trained cashier ruined the reputation. The cashier’s checkout machine was broken down after the payment was made, and no receipt came out. Tho my bank told me that transaction went thru, the cashier and her manager said no, and said I cannot leave with the purchased items. They asked for proof of bank charge, and I ran to my car to get them my phone, during which time they demand the items to be kept in store, in case I ran away while fetching my phone from my car. After seeing the bank approval text and transaction history, they were not convinced. They decided to give me two options, to wait on-site to see if the machine could be restored, or rescan everything and make another payment. It was 8:30 PM, I have been standing at the checkout point for 20 minutes, I was forced to make the second payment. And the funniest thing is that they promised to refund ASAP if I got double charged, and even gave a hand-written note, which says, if double charged, refund immediately. But now they denied the double charging facts when the first payment is posted on my last months bank statement.I provided every document that they asked for. Then the cashier said, “it is my manager’s final decision whether or not to refund you.” OK, once the money goes into their pocket, don’t ever assume they would give it back.I have never seen any merchandise with such a terrible attitude and use such unwise ways to deal with their own mistakes. They chose to run away from their own problems, all they know is that keeping money in their hands feels sweet. Btw, they never truly feel sorry for all that happened or show any intention to think about the whole thing standing in the customers shoes.Unprofessional. Dishonest. Careless. Rude.Mar 24, $244.22, how long do you plan to keep it?
Very nice, bright, big and clean. Good selection of products, found most of what I was looking for. A pleasant shopping experience all around.
Staff is not so helpful, specially the male asian workers get upset for having to show you were to find one thing👎👎👎👎
Will not come to this store any more. The cashiers attitude is very bad and shows a contemptuous look when we are asking her questions.
Clean. Well maintained. Sea food.
This place is great for getting meats for grilling and Korean BBQ. Also has a lot of Asian ingredients. The parking lot is kinda small though, so best to come early.
Recently renovated. They have a huge selection of fresh meat and produce plus all of the brands youd expect at H Mart
Clean and very nicely organized. They do have a nice selection of meats, seafood, vegetables...but they were low on stock on a few items. Its very fresh and inviting.
Nice clean upscale feeling Asian grocery market. Place can feel a little bit crammed, and you have to shop in one direction.Produce: fresh and clean, but expensive. Variety is decent but not huge.Meat: love being able to get marinated and sliced meat here. But its quite pricey, though good quality.Seafood: good selection of fresh and frozen options.Snacks and desserts: lots but I havent tried that many yet :) the frozen snacks are in the last aisleThere are a couple of food stalls here too so thats always convenient.
This store is very neatly organized and has all the Asian grocery and other essentials! It is very spacious too and they handle crowds very diligently. Though the prices are a little more expensive than other asian markets, it is still worth it. Totally reccommend you to go here!
Good selection of fruits & veggies, they have nice icecream too
Great price for korean and asian products.Well trained employees working here.
Lots of selections. Great Japanese food as well
Go to for yummy snacks and desserts. Could easily spend an entire paycheck here, even with good prices.
Clean, well stocked grocery store with many interesting Korean products to tempt your stomach and eyes.
My first visit, and I cant wait until the one opens in SF.
Good price family size frozen meet pack
Clean, fresh produce, even has wagyu if youre interested
Great place to get oriental groceries and things. Friendly people. Lots of fresh and marinated meats for Korean BBQ. Fresh seafood. Also have small restaurants inside. Takeout only due to COVID-19 situation
Nice and clean but not my go to place but they have very good marinated meat.
Recommend the freshly made Kim bap
Good clean asian foods with good prices
Awesome grocery store that has almost any Korean stuff you can imagine. Has a large selection of Chinese groceries as well. Clean and well kept. Will definitely come again!
Good quality produce. Delicious seafoods!! 5 stars
This location is alright. Kinda average compared to other H Mart Ive visited else where. But overall very pleased environment. Comfortable place to do grocery.
As a non Korean, this store is always a blast for me because i try something new everytime. Their seafood selection is awesome, tons of live and fresh items, along with asortments of fish balls and dried goods. The butcher is equally impressive with pre packaged cuts for bbq and hotpot. Tbe prices on the veggies are quite good as well, the frozen section is very expansive as well.. the ramen aisle takes up literally a whole aisle!
Very organized and clean with plentiful produce
Korean supermarket. Very clean, but nothing very special about it.
Great Asian market. Im used to 99 ranch, but this one blows those away! The seafood selection is very diverse. There are 3 restaurants inside, serving Japanese and Korean cuisines. Overall, Im very impressed.
(Renewed) So warm feedback from the owner here. I hope they improve in better product selection. I’ll visit again. Thank you.-Poor product line.. Almost empty
We bought this watermelon from HMart yesterday
Korean inspired market great selection of sliced meats and side dishes to do your own Korean Bbq fresh veggies you wont find in American markets
Even though I live so far in the city, I would always pop in if Im in the South Bay. They have a large selection of fine quality produce, snacks, seafood, meats....I could go on. Prices are pretty reasonable and the place is so clean. Enjoy shopping there every time.
Can get busy during the day, more mellow in the evening. I love the products here, so unique and very high quality! One of my favorite places to shop for delicious food.
Nice deals and good selections. Its extremely good for Asian BBQ meat and seafood. The parking lots is busy and narrow.
Iam a first time visitor. Was able to find ingredients for Korean taekkbokki for vegetarian version.
I love this korean market.
Near closing time on New Years Eve Eve a lot of shelves are empty but whats there looks Great
Supermarket was very crowded. Parking was difficult to find - best chance is to follow someone leaving and wait for their spot. Food court was small and only three restaurants - Japanese, Chinese, and Korea. Food court seating also very crowded.
Korean and some japanese groceries. The fish section looks well served
My new favorite market for fresh fish and veggies. Very tidy and clean. Great for all those wonderful Asian recipes...dont forget the kimchee!
I LOVE THE PRICE OF MEATS
Super clean, well stocked. Friendly and helpful staff, when I was looking for certain items and couldnt locate them on my own. That was my first time inside H Mart, but it wont be the last. I wish there was an H Mart closer to my house.
Amazing selection of Asian grocery (korean, Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Indonesian, Thai, malaysian, vietnamese, etc.)
So many options! Love how they have so many cuts of meat both marinated and plain, perfect for korean bbq and hot pot/shabu shabu. My go-to supermarket everytime.
