Great location with variety of selections to choose from.Been going to H mart as one of my favorite grocery stores, H mart has been my first priority to go to.Clean, fresh food, and friendly staffs.Will a come back to shop as usual.

Upscale Korean supermarket. Nice selection of fresh produce. Instant ramen and Korean snack aisles are amazing, so many products Ive never seen before. 😍Found something called Hardtack... vaguely remember reading about it in history books as a kid...but today its a snack food? Grabbed a bag to see how Naval sea rations were in the 1700s. 🤣Theres also a corner of the store that sells hot food for takeout. I wanted to try it, but the line looked long and I was short on time today. Will have to go back and revisit.One curious thing was the armed security guard. The area looks fairly safe, not sure why he is there.

One word. Amazing! Ive been to several H Marts over the years in LA. This one is a cut above. If youve never been to Asia and wondered what the economy is like, the enormous selection of food gives you a hint of how different the cultures are.The meat alone, the marbling, the different cuts, the different organ meats, it feels a world away.Even if you dont cook, this place is worth a visit.

It is a wonderful store with a great, vast selection of Korean food, drink, and housewares. So happy I took the time to go shop there today! The store was busy on a Saturday, but they had plenty of registers and a very efficient system of getting people to the next available register. The food cafe in there was really good as well, grabbed lunch to go! Highly recommend.

Lots of varieties, almost anything asian that’s available in the states. Some items can be pricy. Very good environment. Very tight parking.

First time here, walked around browsing all the different asian snacks and sauces. Ended up spending a whole hour there haha I only took pics of the veggies with the mist and a random pic of their freezer section. :P

I had a quick request to pickup some condiments from here. I was not familiar with the store layout so i asked for help and the gentleman was very accommodating in helping me find what i was looking for. Great customer service. However, parking is hard to find during peak hours shopping. Their parking space is not so big when its shared among other business in the same plaza.

Although Ive only visited a few of times, I loved it. There are many items to look at and consider. I would say if youre not very familiar with Korean cuisine or ingredients to do a little research before going. It makes shopping easier.

An overall clean and nice Asian grocery store to visit. It’s situated in a plaza with plenty of parking. They have a nice selection of different products at affordable prices. This is my go-to-spot for Asian groceries in the South Bay.

There is a good variety of korean cuisine here. I dont have pictures since they dont allow photos indoors. I went to the frozen food area and they have a large selection of frozen dumplings. There is also some ready to heat food available in their food court area. It is a good place to check-out if you are looking for something quick to prep.

The meat and seafood is always excellent, with one exception. On Monday 8/2 I bought a dozen of frozen large Argentinian pink shrimp from the shellfish island at the Oakland Rd store. When I cleaned it I thought it felt a little soft. I decided to use it anyway and although the taste was not objectionable the texture felt like it was rotten! It just seemed to fall apart. Had to leave it outside for the wild animals to eat. I just thought Id tell them because their quality has been good on everything until now.

Went there at around 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon. Parking lot was almost full but no problem to find a parking space. This is a very clean Korean supermarket. It has a kinds of Asian food. I also wanted to get some hot food but the line was very long. Even though the store was full the check out was quick since there were plenty of cashiers.

I love the selection. They have all the East Asian snacks and food. I just wish more employees spoke english. No one was able to help me. So, i had to talk to the cashiers and then go back into the aisles.

Really love having this so near our home now. Has a great selection of Asian vegetables and food stuffs. Its always super clean, very well stocked even early in the morning at 8:00 a.m. when they open. People are always friendly and helpful.

A great place to get Korean and other Asian grocery product. Large clean design and layout. Has a bakery, cafe, and seafood section. The check out counters are a little smaller than usual supermarkets. Could use more parking spaces. On busy days, they compete with the surrounding shops, like Starbucks, McDonalds, Jamba Juice, and Panda Express.

Recently weve been going to the H Mart on De Anza. We had no idea that this location existed until recently when we selected the wrong location on our GPS. Im glad that we picked this location on accident. This H Mart is huge compared to the other one!!Theres a bakery and a four court area in this location. Of course due to COVID, everything is to go only.This location seems newer than the De Anza one and looks like it carries way more items and variety. I grabbed a few snack items here including some I havent seen in any other stores.Parking lot can get pretty packed as its shared with many busy stores.

Found this place because of a youtuber shopping at this company. My family thought we didnt have one in CA and found one near us in the Bay Area. We travel from Pittsburg to Milpitas just to get some great meats.

I didnt realize this is a Korean grocery store . I would grab a breakfast bagel around the corner on occasion.I was looking for Gochujang to make Korean spicy fried chicken wings and noodles for Japchae.Although, I didnt visit every aisle and browse, I was focused on finding those items. They have a large selection of assorted fresh seafood and meat.This grocery store is very clean and organized. It sort of reminds me of Whole Paycheck 🤣Highly recommend visiting this store.

Very clean Asian grocery. Everything was well stocked and neat. Quite the selection of products, but not much in the way of cleaning products, pharmacy items. The food sections were impressive tho. Checkout wad a little slow because of a computer freeze and checkers were yelling at other checkers, kinda not cool. But a real nice, clean, store. Had a little food court inside!

H Mart has every Korean/Asian food you can imagine. They even have Alove yogurt which is really hard to find anywhere! The prices are reasonable. The place looked clean and tidy. They give out delicious free samples that makes me want to buy everything. I like how they enforce their employees to wear face masks and gloves when serving food.

I was surprised how good the quality of the food is at that low price in this market. I can get the best quality of fruit, meat, and cookware from this market. I recently purchased a Korean BBQ grill plate for making Korean BBQ at home while every restaurant was shut down. The grill never got burnt out and easy to clean, and I can just purchase the marinated meat in big variety from this market without any preparation and cook right away

I purchased a jar of Citron with honey but can’t find my receipt for price purposes but can someone please tell me the price of a jar of Citron and honey tea and your Ginger and honey tea!I would love to purchase some as gifts for friends whom never tried it. Fresh farm produce and so-well packaged

Super clean fresh produce, yummy samples like Korean BBQ, fresh meat and seafood. Sometimes long lines on weekends. Parking is difficult on weekends. Overall exciting shopping trip and in the end you get free items when you show your receipt! There is also a small restaurant in store. Expect to see alot of new items, can see this place doing good for years to come.

Incredibly rad Korean grocery store. Theyve got it all. A great selection of seafood, including fresh sushi. The meat section has so many options, and theyve got prepackaged thinly sliced meats for hotpots or soups. Absolute time saver. Produce section is on point. From bok choy to mushrooms, pre-sliced jackfruit and so much more. Its all so fresh and clean. You can lose track of time in the noodle aisle, sifting through the shocking variety of noods. I love it. The parking lot is the only downside, as it can get a bit hectic, so be patient. Other than that, have fun exploring my dudes, and dont be afraid to grab some banchan for later.

Had variety of Asian products which is why one would go there. Love the “hot deli” section. Only gave it a four star because parking is pretty bad. Maybe some day they’ll built a 2-story parking.

I am in love with their meat selection. There are wagu beef with different cuts, lamp, pork and seafood. However, their vegetables go bad really quick after 2 days :(( And PLEASE PLEASE bring a jacket when you shop here, the store is ALWAYS COLD.

Korean groceries galore! Snacks, apps, meats, sides, everything your heart desires and your mouth waters for here. Cashiers and workers are always helpful, especially for those of us who cant read Korean.

Best asian market in san Jose

BBQ Town restaurant is inside H Mart International Market. There is a market eatery area with 2 fast served restaurants in it. One is Korean and the other is Chinese. We ate at the Korean place called BBQ Town. They serve meats and vegetarian entrees. We ordered the seafood pancake and pork katsu with kimchi fried rice with an egg. It was all delicious. Their pancake is huge and thick. If you dont walk past the first restaurant, then you will not see the Chinese restaurant. H Mart market is clean and has a lot of produce, seafood, meets, and Asian products. We are definitely coming back to shop.

The store has a great selection of Asian products (especially Korean products). However, their customer service is extremely bad! Since there was no one at the meat counter, I try to requested one of their staff to assist or to notify a butcher to assist. I came across three staff members and each point me to go ask someone else or just wait until someone return from break. I was already at the counter for over 5 minutes before I came across the first of three staff members. I will never return to this store.

WOW....this place is Whole Foods on Mega Steriods - like the Rock and just really blows every super market even HEB central market right out of the water .....Its more like Disneyland for all Asian Foods ....Im really blown away this is on Brokaw & Old Oakland Rd as this is not the Meca of Asian life like Cupertino or Sunnyvale.

A high quality Korean supermarket. The interior is quite fancy for an Asian supermarket in California, with intricately designed displays. There are no weird smells and the floors are clean. The produce is fresh and there are other various Asian food products that you might have never seen before. If youre looking to find ingredients for a Korean style meal, this is the place to be.

The Korean corndogs are so good. So crispy on the outside and the breading is perfect.

Really good fish section and fishmongers are friendly and professional. Fresh fruits and vegetable are good value for money and good selection. However service desk is below standard, bought an expired pack of meat once and they refused to offer a refund...

Weve been consuming a lot of Korean produced content lately (music, TV shows, YouTube). As a result, weve had a hankering for Korean / Asian groceries. H Mart filled the need!We love the selection of Asian vegetables here. Everything looks fresh! The pre-packaged Korean style ban chan is awesome too. You can pick up nearly everything you see at the Korean restaurants.The selection of meats even more impressive. Beef? Pork? Chicken? Seafood? Yes. Yes. Yes. And yes! They also pre-packaged marinated meats and ready cut meats for grilling or for your soups. The seafood department is great as well. They have whole fish, live or already processed, and sashimi options.Frozen food from Asia? They got it. Hella options for... it seemed like everything. And even things I hadnt considered.Snacks? Yes. Soju? Yes. Just take my money already!Lastly, the place is clean. Immaculate. I grew up going to Asian markets and theres a night and day difference between H Mart and the places Ive been going to. Ill still go to my locals if I NEED to but Ill go the extra miles to H Mart.I hope theyre able to sustain.

Went during the holiday season, so as expected a little crowded. It has a good variety of asian products ranging from produce to household goods. It even has an indoor marketplace where you can order food and a bakery as well. Happy shopping!

Had many options but definitely one of the most expensive asian super markets Ive been to. Your local store would be a better choice unless you want some obscure Korean product.

Why cant an H mart be closer to Alameda/San Leandro area?! It was my 1st visit here and I must say the organization is above all. And their frozen dumpling section definitely had me there for awhile. Ive always had a thing for Asian supermarkets especially those that offer Japanese and Korean goodies. If only this was closer to home.

It has good sign products especially the snack aisle. Very clean in and outside the establishment.

Make sure you check the expiry dates on the products you buy from this store. A tremendous portion of what this store sells are expired for months yet they still keep them on the shelves- including dairy products. I bought yogurt without checking - expired a month ago. See how much this instant ramen has blown up - just bought a box of this last weekend and it expired three months ago.
