Well a little over priced. I love to support, but I have to be a wise shopper. They got goods for free.... why do they want more than retail for the goods????? A sale only a sale when you sell it. Moving the product is finding that sweet spot were it does sell. An we all gain. When they had the other store in SANTA CLARA. They found that spot.

I found exactly what I was looking, semicircle wood shutters, on my first visit. And it turn out to be so cheap, $30, and appears to be brand new. If custom order it would be in the $500 range. All smiles!Lots of furnitures and old doors and windows. Some stuff are brand new. Ill be sure to visit often from now on for treasures.

Due to an emergency, I was only there for a short period of time, so didnt get a chance too purchase anything or peruse around as much as I would have liked. But, from what I did see, they had a great selection of everything from furniture, appliances and home repair. Which were priced more than fairly. I definitely plan on returning As soon as I can.

This place will do you the favor of letting you donate. They will treat you like you owe them for donating things. They snatched some brand new items in original packaging from our car and then were very rude when we asked for a donation receipt. Although I didnt even know which items he ran off with because it happened so fast, I needed to list them and provide all personal info to get a receipt including name address email. The irs doesnt require any of this information is required for an donation.I would suggest going anywhere else if your goal is donating to help the community and the environment.

Restore is a community shop that specializes in selling second hand furniture. I appreciate the idea and that some of the furniture they sell is restored. You can find some good antique cabinets, tables etc here at reasonable prices, but at least in my opinion there is also a lot of uninteresting used, but not unique or antique, just second hand furniture that while offering nothing interesting is overpriced

What a fantastic place to shop for furniture! Everything was affordably priced (think $35 for a nice wood nightstand, $50-65 for bookshelves or desks, $150-300 for couches) and the staff was super friendly and helpful, even tetris-ing the furniture we bought into our small car. This was easily my favorite place to shop for furniture Ive found so far in the Bay. Ill be back soon!

My husband was formerly a contractor and we had a bunch of building materials, unused, we wanted to donate. This Habitat would not take them. We had a 10 lb. Box of new nails and the guy literally told me nobody uses nails anymore. News to me! We were moving and ended up taking some pretty good stuff to the landfill. Very disappointingly.

I love this place. Never really cared for thrift stores prior to moving to Silicon Valley but now one of my favorite places to find some amazing stuff such as designer jeans, blouses, & dresses. You can also sign up for their text alerts which will give you a heads up when their having a sale. Just make sure you have plenty of time before you go in. Theres a lot of merchandise and everything is mixed together for the most part size wise.

I donated some nice things, they emptied out my truck super fast. I mentioned to the young men that helped me that there is some hardware that needs to be kept with my donated things. They left the hardware behind in the truck,so I took the small pieces inside to be with my donated stuff. I was met by rude senior staff inside. I hope everything works out well for my donated things.

I came to donate a desk but I couldnt help to go inside and check the stuff. What a surprise! So many good things, good quality. Go there before you purchase a large item.....I was surprised they had washers, furniture, dryers, refrigerators and many more things. Much better than the one in Roseville....

This store is a goldmine. I almost dont want people to know about it because the finds are THAT good. The deals you find here are garage sale prices at retail store quality. The Re-Store in San Jose has pricing problems in items for sale. Their volunteers dont price items accurately and when a customer goes to pay the cashiers wants to charge higher price than the price tag on the item. I demanded to speak to manager and he refused to honor the price tag on the item claiming Non-Profit status for the store and that it was a volunteer mistake. This store is not compliant with standard business practices for retail. The manager should hsve honor the posted price tag on the item and fix the rest of the inventory price tags.

Purchased a great loveseat recliner on Saturday in mid-December 2018 but could not take home that day, as we were not expecting to buy furniture. We had 7 days to pick up with no penalty. They put a sale tag on it and moved it to a sold item section. We returned 5 days later, on Friday - went to work super early and battled rush hour traffic to get there before they closed. The ReStore could not find my loveseat! They think someone took the sale tag off of it and pretended it had no price in order to buy it a few days earlier - And they sold it to them even though it was in the sold section of the store!! So frustrating! The ReStore employee even commented, I guess we need a better system. They offered us any other sofa they had, even if it was more expensive, but did not have anything that would work size wise. They eventually refunded our money, but we were of course out the time and gas. Today (Jan 5) I got a call from the ReStore right when they were closing telling me we are overdue to pick up our loveseat and we MUST pick up by Sunday, Jan 6 (they are closed Sun-Mon) or it will be returned to stock. They really need to get their records straight.

I bought stuffs here about three times. Usually its ok but the recent experience is REALLY BAD. I bought a shovel here and decide to return it without using it since I found one in my garage. I know they have a short return preiod (12 or 14 days) so I came here to return within the period. However, I was told that the manager is not here so I cannot return. They asked me to came back Tuesday to Saturday so the manager would be here. I told them that the next time I can come here is next Saturday because I need to work Mon-Fri, and next Saturday is out of the period. That said it’s OK, you can tell them that you have come within the return period but fail to return manager is not here.Sadly, I came here today on Saturday as they told me, and they tell me there is no way I can return it since it’s out of the return period!
