Great Dim Sum to Go Place.I went to Monterey Park Location, it was Closed, I did Yelp Search and this San Gabriel Location Popped up, so I decided to give it a try, Glad I Did, I Ordered Siu Mai, most places come, 3-pcs in an order, you get 4 here, so I ordered 2-orders, and they tasted Great.I also ordered 3 orders, Beef Rice Noodle Rolls.

A big market in a big mall. Stop by the food court for some great deals.

I only would go there every once in a while. I have some friends in the San Gabriel Valley area. The SGS is like I indoor mall. People there are enjoying having a place they can shop at and make a living.

You can buy most of the Asian food here. Very convenient.

I go to the superstore to buy Chinese groceries as needed.They have a small stand in the back called Yum Chia that sells good dim sum.The sesame balls, sugar rice cakes, bean cure meat wraps, shirmp balls and siu mi are outstanding.The prices are better than those of traditional dim sum restaurants.The won ton noodle and porridge stand next door sells traditional Hong Kong dishes at reasonable prices.I go there often when I return to the LA area to visit family.

It was crowded when I went but I found what I needed to buy. The checkout was a bit slow but thats okay. Overall its pretty good.

Need to know chinese to navigate the store, or have an idea of what you want! Products are old and pricey. Exotic fruits and vegetables. Live seafood, and other exotic asian products. Other than that, a good experience.Within the building there are different businesses where they have everything from food, gadgets furniture, drinks, watch repair, beauty and health.

EBT is accepted. This place is huge. There are so many things to buy, ranging from clothes and shoes to durian and fish. Make sure you come out the same door you entered, I lost my car in the parking lot here.

Many varieties are in this supermarket. You can get Korean cosmetic, woman’s wear, dim sum, beef jerky, Boba tea, and also shopping for groceries at the same time. it’s really nice place to be.

Whoever owns this building hasnt cleaned their sidewalks since 1982. Love Mamas Dumpling house, hate that I have to step in filth to get my order. Its like a strip mall in a third-world country. Have some pride of ownership, people.

I call this the PopPan wonderland because I can only find Pop Pan in this supermarket. And I consume a box a month, thats how much I like Pop Pan.

I have been going here every month or so for delicious produce. Today I looked around in some of newer stores and was pleasantly surprised at the high quality. From antiques to contemporary Chinese fashion: this place has you covered. I saw many new places getting ready to open so I am excited to see whats next.

Im biased because I grew up in this kind of environment but for those who werent. Parking is weird, and they will not offer the kind of customer service youd find at a whole foods. Keep your expectations low.

Pretty big supermarket. We walked into to the building thinking we were actually in a flea market. It was then became clear that the actual supermarket was in the back, not visible until i turned the corner.One issue, there werent enough shopping carts for customers. As soon as entering the supermarket, I started looking for a shopping cart. No luck. Every cart was used by someone, and no other carts available! It makes me wonder, how is this supermarket accommodate all the shoppers on weekend?

This is a market with lots and lots of things. There is a full fresh meat department and live and frozen sea food, and everything you would expect to find in an Oriental grocery store. Also under the same roof are a host of small stores selling, clothes, makeup, cellphones, small electrics and more.

Even though there are many stores and products for sale in this shopping plaza; however, I still dont like it too much because it seemed chaotic and cluttered, too much like a typical Asian/Chinese shopping center. The stuff inside the market are not well organized, the seafood and meat sections smelt. The space for lining up around cashiers register stands are very cramping, no room to stand in lines because there are shoppers trying to pass you with their shopping carts, very dangerous. The shoppers are rude and they push the carts wrecklessly. Be careful and watch out for those wreckless shoppers. The small stores on the sides outside of the markets are selling stuff gearing towards Asian shoppers, the clothes and shoes are too small in sizes for regular Americans. Most of times, the plaza is not too busy but crowded over the weekends full of Chinese shoppers. The battery center is very good and handy but the rest of the stores are not selling staff of my interests. The lock smith at the corner is very reasonable and handy, but shoppers often miss it because it is hidden in the corner. I never buy any food, drinks and cosmetic products in the plaza so I dont know how they are. In conclusion, this is a typical Asian/Chinese shopping plaza.

When I go to anywhere food is sold, I always check out their restrooms and anywhere food is prepared in the store. These restroom conditions tell a story about how clean the rest of the store is and how sanitation factors into everything you touch or purchase in that store.

Large variety. Friendly people.

This supermarket offers fresh seafood, pork, beef, poultry, fruits and vegetables. They also offer authentic Asian products. In addition they have additional small shops inside the store and offer many other options. There are restaurants along the store front and at a neighboring extension of the building. There is plenty of parking surrounding the building.

Big market is good for this COVID19 time because you dont need to wait in line for a long time in order to get into the market. Also, compairing to market around here - the price is cheaper in big picture.

Very good and very friendly store. Everything there is usually stocked. Once in a while they are backed up on the stocking on several items but its usually ok.

There is a Dim Sum stand in the corner of this store. Food is good, the prices are great. You can feed a family of 4 and have leftovers for the same price as 2 in a sit down restaurant. All options are on display and easy to order. Casual tables and chairs are available if you want to eat there.

Not a superstore but ok

Ive been going to this supermarket on and off since its been open, and lately, the place has going in a downhill spiral. Recently, it seems that the cashiers job is only to ring people up, meaning youre on your own when bagging. I totally understand if youre short-staffed or if its one of the supermarkets that are trying to cut cost and pass the savings to the consumer, but this branch of Shun Fat doesnt fall in one of those categories.As the produce itself, its always hit and miss. Sometimes youll find great produts, and somethings youre left with the option to go to a different market.

Loved this supermarket. Ive been coming here since they opened. The staffs are helpful, meat & seafood are clean and tidy. Wide selection of produce. Just loved this place.

This is the Shun Fat market in San Gabriel. It is the best Asian market for produce and sundries. Period. In addition, their meat and poultry is good, the butchers are helpful and knowledgeable. This is a very large market with a large shopping area in front with kiosks and a food court. Prices are very good.

Everything you need for Chinese food, veggies, meat, tofu, and all kinds of snacks!

Big store. It has all the Asian groceries that one needs. No reasons to drive further south to Garden Grove to shop.

This is a pretty big store. It seems to be more focused on Vietnamese clientele and products, but it does have quite a large amount of fresh produce, meat and seafood selections. There are all kinds of Asian products and foods sold here, as well, including some pastries, drinks (boba) and food a the periphery of the supermarket area.

China visit in San Gabriel valley California. One large structure with many shops particianed off into many shops including traditional food in small eating area. Main business in Cantonese language.Mostly new immigrants from China as workers and business people.

It is one of my favorite Chinese supermarket at San Gabriel area. You can have vegetables, meat and friuts. Also you can buy lottery as well to become big boss. If you buy $70, you can have free gift as well.

I like this market... but I like Hawaii market more.. because Hawaii market give the bags...SF market you have to pay $10 cent for 1 bag...and security checks your recipe before you out the market..

Good food and good prices

Amazing variety of multi ethnic and cultural foods. You have your standard vegetables and produce. Meat deli and seafood. And interestingly other merchants that sell random things like sun glasses, watches, jewelry, clothes, dvds. I go here particularly for this guy that changes watch batteries for very cheap.

The whole place smelled of riding milk. For a place that sells food, it was very dirty. Made me nervous about buying anything. As far as the shops that arent part of the grocery store, I wasnt impressed with that either.

They added a lot more shopping options. Large selection of Chinese medicines.Dont expect staff to be attentive. You have to do the traditional Chinese way of pretending to be mad to get attention.

Big market with lots of varieties Chinese and Vietnamese food

Not the fanciest, but a large, and I mean large, Vietnamese supermarket with much of anything youd want from a Vietnamese supermarket, including pickled goods. Theres also a terrible mall of sorts within the building selling Asian clothing and God knows what else. This is the place to go if you want to go to a Vietnamese supermarket.

Big selection. Bought dragon fruit for 0.99/lb. Mostly Asian groceries but fruits and vegetables are a heck of a lot cheaper here then Ralphs, Albertsons, etc. Plus Asians have such a wider variety of produce. Half supermarket half swap meet (shoes, clothes,etc) Can be dirtier than Ralphs, but Id rather have dirty floors than old seafood.
