Luke, Matt and Lynn make a fantastic team. They all offer exceptional customer service. Lynn was super creative in finding a solution to get me boots for my size. They gave us a lot of individualized attention, answered all of our many questions, and were exceptionally knowledgeable about the snowboard gear and boots. In the end we walked out with full gear for myself and my 16-year-old son. We are incredibly happy. I highly recommend this store and staff.

Dont write a lot of reviews but man did Luke help me out. I was having issues contacting the warranty team with some gear before a big trip to Utah and thought Id just give the SF store a call (Im local in the bay area). Luke helped me resolve the issue rapidly and now Im double-stoked for my trip. Pinnacle of customer service.Thanks again for the help

The staff here is more of what you’d expect from walking into a ski shop in a mountain town, rather than an urban center— they’re generous, welcoming, knowledgeable, and just plain friendly. They don’t make you feel rushed and they seem to really care about you getting into the right gear. Leigh, Mark and a younger (seemingly new) employee were all super gracious. The selection pretty much covers anything and everything from Burton’s product line. And- I went in with boots I did not purchase in the store and they allowed me to use the heat mold machine and rather than charge me, they asked for a donation to Burton’s rad non-profit... I think that’s pretty darn cool.

Staffs are so kind and knowledgeable.Especially, Nina was very helpful and awesome. Had such a good experience buying a new burton snowboard here after wasting money on buying online without expert’s help. Highly recommend this place!

I just went to the Burton store in SF to purchase my first snowboard setup (board, boots & binding) plus accessories. Nina was super knowledgeable, patient and an all-around rock star! I never felt rushed or pushed, and my questions were always answered. She explained the differences between each boot that I tried on, and that really helped me make a decision. Since they didnt have everything I wanted in stock, Nina helped me procure the items from other locations and coordinated shipping. It was a complicated order and she handled it like a pro. I observed the rest of the staff being super helpful & friendly to customers while I was there. Proper social distancing was practiced. I highly recommend the Burton SF shop for all your apparel & gear!

Lynn and Matt are absolute champions. Lets face it snowboards aint cheap and you need some real experts when looking to invest in new gear. I would recommend anyone to go here if theyre looking to upgrade their gear. These guys are the real deal.

The staffs here are friendly and know about all Burton products. They can even order non-in stock items online for you.However, during Covid-19, every customer must wait (no walk around) until next sales is available. I’ve saw a time even when the store has 7-8 customers waiting in line, the staff still spend over 20min on a single customer! This single customer seems to be a “friend” of staffs, they chat and laugh all the time but kept 5-7 people waiting there for over 20-30min. This is very inconsiderate and unprofessional. What’s worse, it seems they only have 2 “working” staff at this peak time during weekend.I suggest that “friend of them” can come in a day when the store is not full of WAITING CUSTOMERS.

The staff here is great. Ive been to this location 3x. The first time I didnt come back at all the following season haha the guy there just thought he knew it alllll and kept trying to pitch gear I didnt really care for. Made it a point to tell me I had to keep up with the times. But like some of us are traditional in our gear and some of us want the latest gear. Thats okay. To each their own. But it was the bragging of all his new stuff that was annoying to me. Be humble homie.My last two visits this season though? There was a girl last time who sized me for new bindings and boots and let me know about the step ons. I was skeptical about it but she asked if I wanted to at least check them out and try it...I loved it and bought myself the new set up. She also swore by this over the helmet hat with a face shield that I was like meh about...then got it because her last two recs were solid. She wasnt lying. Even on my snowy and raining days Im comfortable! I asked her about a bag I was curious about and she kept it real. Went through her must haves and her I could do without. I appreciate that so much.My boos binding strap broke last trip up to Tahoe and we came in today to buy just an ankle strap and the guy just let us have an extra he had in the back.

Fantastic store. All sorts of gear for men and women. Large selection of hard gear and soft gear. Staff is a 10/10. Knowledgeable, courteous, super friendly and patient.

An awesome store! Has everything you need for snowboarding (or even skiing!) The decor and vibe of the store is awesome and the employees seriously go above and beyond. I worked with Matt for over an hour and he was so knowledgable and helpful!

The shop messed up my warranty order and checked the box to recycle my item if not repairable without informing or discussing with me first.

The senior employees were not welcoming.

Awesome store and very helpful employees! They answered all my questions in preparation for this coming snow season what boards would be best in each condition and had a great selection of clothes and snow boots. It is a bit pricy but you are paying for some of the best gear.

Clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and made a return process quick and easy. The seasons were changing so there was an ample supply of really good sale merchandise.

Great collection of snow boards ❄ ❄They also have snow pants, jackets and body warmers. Bit on the higher side of prices, but it makes it up for the quality. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Really great service from Taylure and the new guy from New York. They helped my friend and I out with a new board and bindings, taking time to make sure that everything was set up properly for our intended use and showing us all of the various features and adjustments. I was not immediately acknowledged as I walked into this store recently. Instead workers seem to be chatting and acting very obnoxious amongst themselves instead of helping me, a paying customer. Probably going to Oakley next time.

Staff knows their stuff, and are extremely helpful! Choice is surprisingly wide for a not-so-big store : expect typical sizes for usual boards.

Im selling mens size 13 Photo Step-On boot/binding combo. Used them 5 times last season. Retiring from snowboarding because of bad knees. Search Facebook marketplace, or craigslist in SF eastbay for my ad.
