Each time Ive gone into this location everything happens the way its supposed to with a level of efficiency and politeness. Today I had a large heavy parcel in my van, went in to borrow a dolly, the store worker Carlos said I can help you and proceeded to follow me out to the van and help bring the box inside the store. His actions made an otherwise challenging task very easy.
This is the best and most competent UPS store Ive ever visited. Thats not saying much, but they are doing good work.

My package was mailed back my return address twice after packaging, paying postage and sending it from this UPS. I did was not offered a refund and paid for it to go to my return address a second time.
TERRIBLE. I paid $350 in 2 Day shipping for a computer to make sure it spends less time in transit to potentially get damaged. It’s been a WEEK and the package is still in OAKLAND! I’m never using you guys again. This is total BS.
Linda is the best. Friendly local spot in the Outer Richmond. The owners need to do better to help protect their employees. There are under staffed so be patient with them. Thank you to the employees who are there! Owners of this UPS store step up and come in and help them!

My 2 days express package did not arrive on time so I came to the store #5402 seven days later and requested a refund, it was 2 months ago. Still havent got it.Since then Ive stopped by the store 4 times now.One time I was told refund is coming soon, then, worker Linda said I need to email store owner about the refund as she has already told her couple of times and she does not know what else to do. I did email the owner, got no reply. Came by the store again and Linda said she is been telling store owner but she got mad at her and that shell remind her again. Nothing happened. Then, I was told someone is going to contact me on Monday. Today is Monday, no response and no refund still.I am very upset about this communication and total incompetence of the store owner.
The lady helped me quickly find the best option and price to mail my computer. Even let me use their packing tape to secure the box better and slapped some fragile stickers on it. The last UPS store I went to charged literally $8 for a tiny roll of tape and made me buy fragile stickers, Im glad I found this place. She seems to speak Russian too, which is probably very convenient for many russian speaking customers in this area.
I paid $70 for express shipping on a Tuesday to get to a neighboring state with estimated arrival date of Thursday. It arrived on Saturday at the wrong address (my neighbors found it and brought it to us). It was a very costly delay for me.

I came in 20 min. before close to get a simple form notarized(literally just one short page) and one employee said the other employee at the register was the stores notary and he could help us when hes done checking the other customer out. Then, to our surprise, in the middle of the customers check out he said uh, actually, after this customer we are going to be done. When I said really, you cant just do it quick, he said no, we stopped doing noterys at 6pm. Which I could tell he made up by his hesitation while talking. He looked like he was stoned also. Its clear to me it was just pure laziness.
The reason I gave it one star is because I cant give it zero stars. Customer service s terrible, all the people behind the counter ganged up on my because they wanted to charge me 3 dollars to print a UPS label for an existing prepaid package. They told me they dont make money from these. Ok, but since when is printing one black and white page cost 3 dollars? They were extremely rude and combative about it so I just walked out. I wish they can improve the much needed customer service skills.
