San Francisco BMW Motorcycle is Wonderfull. From the sales department, the reception at the service and the mechanics, everybody seems to like their job witch translate to a great experience. I have been going to this dealership for more than 20 years and for good reason. I have bought five bikes from them over the years but recently had them do some work on my bike and as has always been the case, it was a great experience. The service department always go the extra mile to help in so many ways. Mario, Nate, Thames and the techs Eli and the others literally set the bar in the industry ... friendly, professional and resourceful they just cant be beat. Save yourself a ton of stress and just go there, if it can be done they will get it done and they will bend over backwards to accommodate you. There is no other place that I have found that even comes close.

Great staff, excellent service this is where I take my 2012 BMW K 1600 cc GT. Plus free demo drives of all or most of the inventory. Cruise control is literally the best!The staff at BMW SF has been amazing. I was getting back into riding after taking a 7 year break and decided to walk around to all the local dealerships.I was pretty specific on what I wanted because I watched so many different videos online. I watched so many videos on FZ-07s, MT-09s, Z900s, and every 600 & 1000cc sport bike review i could find. After watching a ton of videos and sitting on all these bikes I decided I wanted an Inline 4 engine because of the sound while having something I could also sit on for 15-45 minutes at a time.I went into several dealerships armed with as much knowledge as I could and then asked the sales people questions about the motorcycles. Some of the questions I already knew the answers to, but I asked them anyway just to see what answers I got. I was really struggling between GSX-6R, ZX-6R or the S1000RR.These bikes were all very comfortable to sit on and I was confident I could sit in the seat for 15-30 minutes a day and not be sore when I got off the motorcycle. The only real question I had was, was should I spend the extra money to get cruise control, heated grips, electronic suspension and up and down shifter; or should I go with a 600cc bike that doesnt have all those features on them. How good is cruise control or electronic suspension anyway.The staff at BMW were super helpful. They told me everything they could to help me make the right decision for myself. They didnt care what bike I bought just so long as it was the right bike for me.I finally settled on a S1000RR and I couldnt be happier. The staff was super helpful at accommodating my busy work schedule and getting paperwork signed. I definitely gave them some strange requests when I was purchasing the bike but handled all of it flawlessly. They did everything they could to make sure my time wasnt wasted. They walked me through everything on the bike and I had 0 surprises after the bike was purchased.I have been riding the bike for almost a month now and I am SOOOO glad I got cruise control and all the other features. Being able to rest your hand for 5 or 10 seconds while you adjust your vents or seating position is fantastic. They need to sell 600cc sport bike with cruise control. Also, you dont have to be Valentino Rossi to appreciate the sheer brilliance of a quick shifter. Doing 70 on the freeway and blipping a down shift is magical. If that doesnt put a smile on your face, then you might want to go see a doctor(or The Doctor) because you are dead on the inside.Special thanks to Eddie for going above and beyond to helping me with my motorcycle. It had been about 7 years since my last ride and he helped me get right back into it! :)
Mario and the whole crew of the service department are great. Very helpful and knowledgeable. They answer all questions without creating other questions and the pricing is very fair. Well worth the trip from Mill Valley. I only wish they were located in the North Bay.
The parts guys were excellent, i went in to pick up a special order item and was browsing and they actually ended up finding a part I have been searching online for and had in stock....thanks guys

2013 F700GS, not bought at this dealership. Review well deserved and long over-due.My first experience with Mario and the crew was excellent. I came in from out of state, and had noticed the cracking on the fuel tank common to this model. They replaced it under warranty, no questions asked. The guys even washed my bike for me and gave me a little extra fuel, too! Thanks!My second experience was even better. Another warranty item, but now covered by a 3rd party, extended warranty that they didnt specifically sell at their dealership. Still, NOT A PROBLEM! Mario and the gang figured it out, and got the issue resolved free of charge.Ill be bringing the bike back for a regular service just to show my appreciation.Sincerely,Anthony

Mario(and everyone) in the service dept. is top notch, their professionalism and knowledge is only eclipsed by their patience and winning attitude toward their customers. No pretense here, just very helpful and honest people! Competitively priced with an attention to detail that is sorely missing from many other shops. The team here are excellent, from sales to service! I originally picked up my F800GT here last year at a fantastic price, with incredibly knowledgeable representatives. Since then Ive had the opportunity to have it serviced a few times and each and every time Ive been met with over the top customer service. (and even same-day service when Ive had emergencies!) Nothing to small for them to give you all their attention and do their very best to help your bike stay rolling and running like a top.The location offers a slight parking struggle but these guys are worth it.

If there was 10 out of 5, I would give them that!My bike got knocked over, only damage was left front indicator light. Called them up the next morning and had one in stock. Rode up there and Kyle in parts was extremely helpful. Service was very helpful as well, quickly put the new light in for free.All in all, an awesome experience. Planning to go back there again for tires.

Ive been using the service center here for the past four years and the service has been nothing but stellar.My last visit went nice and smooth thanks to Mario, who was able to fit me in before my trip to Oregon despite the maintenance schedule being full up. He went over each of my requests before and after, detailing what the mechanics did and found and was able to accurately estimate the total cost despite not knowing if Id need some additional parts or not.A couple hours later and my bike was good to go. My only suggestion to others is to make sure you schedule at least two weeks ahead so they dont have to scramble to fit you!

Always a great experience for getting parts. So many dealers scoff at you if youre not riding the newest motorcycle but not SF! I loved how the parts guy owned an airhead. I usually HAVE to go here because the Windsor dealer keeps nothing in stock. Like a clutch cable for 94-01 oilhead r-bikes that every other dealer had. A consumable item on those bikes. They even had a clutch kit in stock for a old k-75
The first motorcycle garage Ive been to that didnt try to screw me over. I had a problem and looked up the parts I needed on Google. Then I wanted to order the parts here and they identified I didnt need all of them for the problem I was having. Really appreciate it.
This is the ONLY place we take our BMW bikes for service and for good reason! If you have a BMW Motorcycle than this is the place to go. Make sure to schedule your appointment in advance. The whole staff is outstanding!
I ordered a pair of BMW summer pants from Kent and they had to be special ordered as they didnt have my size (XS--ha!) in stock. He was very helpful and I had them in good time considering the special order. I will use BMW San Fran again in the future as their customer service is exemplary and their pricing was great!
Easy access, great service, nice showroom, excellent service department. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Only down side is the price of a new BMW motorcycle - but you dont buy a beemer looking for a bargain :)

The folks at BMW Motorcycles of San Francisco service department wrote the book on Customer Service!We are a group of 4 riders from Canada doing a month-long loop around the US covering the Lincoln Highway, Pacific Coast Highway and Route 66 needing service and tire replacement appointments for our stable of 2019 R1250RTs at the mid-point in our epic ride.When I contacted Mario about the possibility of 4 out-of-town riders needing service appointments and also asking for 1 week storage for our bikes while we stayed in the bay area his response, along with confirming no problem in fitting us in, was . . . since these type of trips have their fair share of “obstacles”, we wish to not associate ourselves as one of them, that being said we would definitely be able to store the RT’s . . .. As I said, they get it and they made us feel like regulars, not one-time visitors even before we got here.Along with the excellent service including fully explainnng what would be done when we checked in as well as exactly what had been done (right down to the torque specs used on the front axle and rear wheel bolts!) Thames performed a complimentary cleaning and detailing of the bikes to get ride of 10,000 kms of accumulated dirt and grime. They look factory fresh!The bottom line is that Mario, Thames and the whole team at BMW Motorcycles of San Francisco work hard to earn you business and they deserve it! If you dont have your BMW serviced there, you should!

Brought my S1000RR into service this morning at 9 am very concerned about my front end slight vibration. Well mechanic got right on it fixed cracked nut and put it to spec and its all gone and I feel safe. Good service and nice people and a nice shop also. And the sad part the idiot that works at mytopia cracked my steering head nut and didnt tell me as I drove away. Pretty bad service. Otherwise the other guys are nice and sharp. Im just giving an honest review.

(If youre thinking about taking your BMW to Mountain View, please read my other reviews of the service I received there and then read this one.)$250 for an oil change, not exactly cheap but you get what you pay for with these guys- excellent service. First class experience from start to finish and I rode off with confidence that the S1000rr was inspected and serviced properly which is all that really matters when your life is on two wheels.My experience- I arrived 10 minutes before they opened and the technicians greeted me and invited me to wait in the waiting area where they have a Keurig machine and a clean restroom. :-)I then spoke with the Parts department and told them that I wanted to use the Yelp deal for the free S1000rr T-shirt. The gentleman informed me that the Yelp deal was old, but then compensated by offering a different T-shirt-thanks!I chatted briefly with a salesman who approached me but was not pushy at all- nice guy.Dave took care of me in service and from the phone call to the pickup, I felt assured that the bike was in good hands. Dave gave a detailed estimate of the service to be provided, did not try to up-sell me on other unnecessary service, and then followed through by keeping me informed of the status of the bike and calling promptly when the service was complete. Oh, and Dave offered to put my riding gear in a storage area so I didnt have to lug it to work. In the end, the service was completed quickly and for slightly LESS than the estimate I was given. :-)I will be taking my bike here from now on.
