Anything you need any way you want it just be prepared to pay. Lumber quality is significantly above average.

The folks really know their wood and do their best to do right by their customers. Always have what I need in stock, even some exotics.

Very good staff friendly atmosphere

Good lumber products, very spotty service. A few of the guys are fantastic, but it seems like they’re pressured by management in some weird ways. Getting a few cuts done on the wood I was buying felt like a major favor to me (just charge me for it if you need to). I think they prefer major contractors rather than homeowners looking for a couple hundred dollars worth of wood, but I felt like a hassle to them rather than a valued customer. Good products and a few good staff, so will probably go back. Should be a bit more customer oriented, but maybe they really rather would not deal with homeowners.

Solid lumber place. You need to know what you want - no salespeople. I go here for all my trim needs. The guys working the floor are always happy to help find the right length or cut a longer piece down. It can be busy on Saturdays especially if you come closer to 1pm (closing time).

Today I came in to make a return of some stain I bought 5 weeks ago that I decided against using. Then gentleman that helped me was down right nasty. He told me they had a 5 day return policy, and then charged me a 10 percent return fee. I have been a customer of Beronio Lumber for years, spending many thousands of dollars for supplies to remodel an apartment building. I previously had a fine experience working with Bill and had never been charged a return fee, or been treated so rudely. Obviously things have changed. You can find better service and terms elsewhere.

First of all, if you are looking for old Victorian wood siding for older houses in the San Francisco, then youve come to the right place. This place pretty much has everything you need regarding wood repair. The customer service, and friendly employees makes for a smooth experience. I cant speak for anyone else, but I would recommend their services. A VERY helpful African American gentleman named John is very professional and courteous!

Hi Beronio lumber. I needed some special wood for my project and you guys helped me seamlessly. I tried to find the wood I needed on the weekend at lowes and Home depot but I had no luck. Thanks Beronio. Their system of doing things is definitely geared toward contractors so be patient and work within their framework to get things done.

Theyve got fire treated 2 x 4s, (that I use a lot) So that parts good. I wish they also carried fire treated plywood, so I wouldnt have to drive all the way to Oakland and back to get what I need!Could use a bit more help in the yard. Sometimes I have to search for someone to write me a pick ticket. But other than that, no problems.

Good service, and their wood tends to be of a higher quality. Plus you can order specialty woods and they will have it in a day 2 max

Went there to return a 10feet piece of redwood that I purchased to match with some that I had at my place.Had to deal with this Elderly Man seems to be owner or manager refused to take the legitimate return and try to make up a lie that piece is being beat up and he could not sell it again.Redwood could be exposed to any weather for years before it could get beat up MR so called lumber expert.You are shorting your own product and your own credibility.Would never come back to your place again !!!!

Needed hardwood floor planks to repair a small 10 sqft patch. Walked in with my sample not sure what to expect. The staff immediately pointed me to the right type of wood that matched my floor. Installed and stained, the result is amazing. Thanks!

Always a great experience going to Beronio for lumber and hardware needs. Everyone in the sales department is straight forward, and very knowledgeable about how to get a job done. I have also ordered doors and windows from their other department-- they have a great selection for a good price, and their staff is also excellent.

1st visit and I was hugely impressed. Knowledgeable and helpful staff - how refreshing is that. Great inventory and reasonable pricing. Well be back.

The most terrible service Ive ever come across in my life. I told the employee there it was my 1st time I explain to him what kind of wood I needed and he basically brushed me off. I wouldnt come here I would much rather go to home depot at least Employees there actually help me.

I was looking for some planks of pine wood for a personal project at home, and their prices were good, their staff was friendly and helpful, and their service was pretty prompt. Not much more I could ask for!And, despite initially telling me over the phone that they wouldnt cut down the planks to the 6 lengths I needed since I was ordering so many, they were totally okay doing it once I actually went in, so, hey, bonus!***Accessibility Info***Venue - Their sales office requires that you take a lift up to their back door, which youll probably have to knock on a few times to get someones attention.Bathroom - Not sure if they had any public ones.

Ive been coming to Beronio Lumber for 30 years. It has always been a great experience. They have a very friendly staff and the materials are top notch. Hope to be shopping there for another 30 years.

Their selection is decent of only hardwood trim. There is no mdf trim.I will never go back due to the service. I have never experienced so many miserable acting employees in one place. They are not there to service the customer.

Tough for noobs, but great timber....If it isnt your day job, acquiring wood, this place can be daunting, and the staff can be offhand. You will have to ask, and feel silly that you dont know the ropes.But go look at the wood, choose the planks that please you, then ask again for how to pay.

They had some hard to find mil led FJ cedar siding that is common in lots of San Francisco houses

To Truck Drivers... Gate opens at 5AM. Get here before 5, park on right side of street before you get to gate. Fairly fast unloading.

If you need chair rail or moulding for an older home (ours is 1912)- try this place. Lots of different rails available. We found one extremely close to our original chair rail. If we hadnt, this place could have made a custom blade to cut the rail for a much better price than we have found elsewhere.

Beronio Lumber has a great selection of material however the process to purchase anything takes quite a while as everything is hand written and old fashion. They need to use technology to speed up the process of paying for all material.
