Employees refuse to wear a mask. When asked nicely to put mask on while I was picking up an order for delivery the employee became irate and began to shout at me to leave the store. He only put his mask up when I pulled out my phone. (See photos) If you hate these stay-at-home orders due to COVID-19, stay away from this super spreader business.

This place is cool. Liquor on the shelves hasnt been dusted since it was put there, but there is a good selection of premium Gin, Whiskey, Vodka, and mixers. Bought a bottle of Anchor Old Tom Gin, but there were several others that I looked tasty. Ill be back. Also lots of fine beer.

We just bought some late night snacks and were originally a little alarmed as the frozen foods were stuck together and into a large block of ice. We still bought two items and were very disappointed to discover after the fact that one item expired 8 months ago (after cooking the pizza and having it look horrendous) and the other expired *5 years* ago in 2015. Buying alcohol here seems fine, but trying to buy groceries was not.

Be sure not to toss your money too hard or the clerk (Sam) will call you a thief, tell you to leave the store, then verbally harass you.Went in to buy 1 bottle of sake (they had two types, neither I liked). Asked the owner what type of incense he had and he said this and that and pointed at the boxes (as if I knew what scents the boxes contain) when I said Id take one, I put $2 on the counter and apparently threw it too hard. He took it offensively and started calling me expletives. After that I said give me my $2 back and heres your incense, returned a few expletives of my own. At this point I was accused of being a thief and it just became a raucous of shouting expletives between one another.If you want to be treated like a human, go across the street.

The best selection of whiskey in the entire city! Who else has 32 year old Port Ellen, 18 year old Yamazaki, Balvenie Tun 1509, Stagg Jr., or Pappy? Sammie does.

If you are looking for something and dont see, just ask Sam or Andrew, because they probably have it. They have a wide selection of wines and spirits, with the pleasant surprise of offering lower prices than you are likely to find elsewhere. In addition to all this, they have a wide selection of food items both gourmet and household staples. Truly the best part of shopping at Save-More, is Sam and Andrew who are always friendly and accommodating. You can trust this review, but better than that, you can stop by and pick up a few things and see what a great market this is, and how convenient it is for you. It is located on the corner of McAllister and Divisadero Streets where the 5, 5 R (outbound), and 24 (inbound) buses stop. Plus it is located right around the corner from Alamo Square park.

The old guy works at this store is a hater with fake smile in front of people. If you work for him you will see his monster side. He yell and threw the 6 pack of beer on table it bounced up for an inch.

I was treated like a common thief. Id taken no more than 5 steps inside the door when I was accosted by the man behind the counter with aWhat do you want!?Uh...chocolate...Leave your bag on the floor right there!He was rude. I dont want to relive it any more. Never again.

I been here a bunch of times now and every time I’ve gone they guy had been extremely rude to me. Except the time I brought my wife where he proceeded to hit on her. This time around I was looking though his store and he followed be down his narrow aisle-way, as I went to pay he asked me if I was going to pay for something and to open my backpack. As if I was trying to steal something. This place is a joke, their beer selection has IPAs that are nearly four years old all over the place.
