Well-priced and tasty sandwiches and an all-around good neighborhood store.

We love the Mayflower Market, our neighborhood corner store. Lefty, one of the owners, is so friendly, as is the rest of his family that runs the place. They have a good assortment of food, wine, snacks, fruit, and soft drinks. Plus they have a great deli. You can find almost everything you need, except for what youd get at the meat counter, there. And they are open to feedback and suggestions.

This place is as clean and inviting a corner grocery as you could ask for. During the Covid19 pandemic, it is particularly appealing because of the excellent ventilation of this high-ceilinged space.

Well supplied market, with many cheeses, and similar picnic food. Some prices are actually very competitive for a corner market. A1 steak sauce $9, a little pricey for 10oz. But Little Sumpin 6 pack beer, $13. A good price for the area. Deli sandwiches look good.

I asked for a sandwich on lettuce wrap. The person behind the deli counter said no. I asked why not, and they said I can put it on bread and you take it off. I asked, would you want that if you were me? Then he said No ...awkward silence....then I left.

This is a way better than average corner market. Not only do they have all the usual convenience stuff -- snacks, candy, ice cream, etc. -- but they also have a pretty good selection of more grocery store stuff, including fruits and vegetables. The guys who run the place are professional and fast. Its usually easy to find parking somewhere on Jackson street.

Best kept secret for amazing made-to-order deli sandwiches with Boars Head meat - for $5! Market is made for a neighborhood of small apartment kitchens and young people needing a quick grab, incredible variety.I once heard the man at the cash register tell a customer hed start ordering a certain whiskey to have in stock for a customer that frequents often & cant find it elsewhere, very cool. Staff can be hit or miss on friendliness, but they all work to get you in & out fast - thats what really matters. Gem for the neighborhood.

Friendly owner and staff, good variety and prices

At noon today on my bus terminal i encountered two Rude employees while buying coffee . It seems they have problems with muni bus drivers because this was not the first time i received poor customer service. Short employee Mexican guys have a chip on their shoulders. Will never go there again.

Really nice, friendly environment. Employees are quick, and efficient. And... They smile! Great experience. Will be going again soon.
