Just had outstanding service shopping here with Curtis Lee and Yoshiko. Both are extremely knowledgeable on the brand and never pushy. First time shopping at this location and it will definitely not be my last. They were also super sweet and kind to my dog, asking if I wanted a bottle of water for him.-Curtis was extremely helpful and patient helping me. He later had another sales associate finish helping me, Yoshiko. She’s awesome!-everyone at the store is friendly and welcoming-they make sure you are taken care of and being helped-Yoshiko was so nice. She was very helpful showed me different style bags and things I might like-They offered me champagne and other beverages-sales guy that wasn’t even helping me, asked if he could get my dog a fresh bowl of water. So nice.-Couldn’t be any happier with my purchase and shopping experience here!
I went there with my boyfriend and it was my first time ever buying a Louis Vuitton. I was really shocked with the customer service they provide. They always rushing you and when ask for more option, they say oh, “we have shown you all of the ones we have” no you didn’t. I was going to buy more but after seeing the horrible service, I didn’t end up buying. She would show me one and stand on a side with whatsoever no interest. I understand you are busy but I am spending my money and the least you can provide is good customer service with interest in helping.
My favorite brand love to browse and shop in every store of LV when I go for vacations. Instead of buying online its better to personally visit the store, feel the material, carry,walk around & fall in love with your purchase, ask for opinions but make your OWN DECISION as YOU have to carry the bag.
I never understand why this brand is so popular but decided to go in to check it out. Had probably one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had at a store. When I walked in, I was assigned a “client advisor”. This lady was extremely condescending and unhelpful with any of my questions. She acted as if I was attempting to steal something. When I was looking at items, she was breathing down my neck as if she wanted to me to leave (which I eventually did). The products are overpriced trash and so is their customer service. Seriously, nothing is going for this brand and for this store. I’ve had a more welcoming experience walking into my local Walmart. The person who manages this store should be ashamed with themselves.
I loved my shopping experience. I wasnt rushed or pushed to get something I wasnt fully in awe of. In the end I walked out with an elegant handbag that Im in LOVE with!
Roxeanne was super pleasant! I live in Indiana and the store she works at had the only size shirt I needed and wanted! She messaged me within the hour and even though it was just threw messaging, I could tell she was a wonderful person and a wonderful CA! Before she completed my purchase, she made sure there wasnt anything I needed! She also made sure that if I ever need anything that I reach out!
Was assisted by an associate named Felicity if I remember correctly. Very friendly and engaging and would give slight alternative recommendations if the item youre looking for is not in stock. But she did end up finding the item I wanted that she initially thought was out of stock. The girl who also works there standing outside in front of the door is really nice too.
We love this location except for the African American girl who works the door she is very rude. Astrid who helped us is very friendly and helpful. They had the bag we were looking for and provided great service while helping us. Also didnt appreciate the armed guard staring at us like he was sizing us up. What we spent on 1 bag is with 3 months of his salary but I get the need and the attitude but not with me when Im dropping stacks in here.
Hard for me to take this place seriously. Staff is pretentious and unhelpful, while products are poorly mass produced and cheap looking. Awesome for those with zero taste or sense of style.
I placed an order on 12/31, emailed for a return on 1/1. Only was told to call the center. I was told that as long as I don’t pick up the merchandise I would receive a refund. On 1/10, I picked up my other half of the order, told the store associate to initiate the return. I was told by the store manager that I would receive my refund in 3 weeks, aka by 1/31. I called on 1/25 to inquire about the refund, and was promised that the refund process will be initiated on 1/26. Called in 1/28 to check on the refund status, saying i wouldn’t get the refund for another 2 weeks. The refund will start upon distribution center receive the merchandise back. I’ve never get a hold of the bag, and why am I not getting a refund for this long? Nicky and Lizzy, the customer services based in Texas promised to call me by end of the day did not return my call. The brand is claiming its luxury brand. I think Walmart might have better customer service than them.
Ive been in this store a couple of times and those were great experience. But my last visit two weeks ago was terrible. The person attended on us is so arrogant. He knows what he’s doing and really knowledgeable about the product but his attitude makes me uncomfortable to shop on this store again. But the WORSE part of it is, He is a big liar. When I talked to one of his colleague and explain what happened earlier that day He stays and feed lie to this other advisor. None of all this bad experience will happen if its not from his mistake from the beginning. Instead of apologizing for his mistake, he decided to argue and keep pushing that the error is not a big deal. Cristina apologizes for the error and assure to us that it’s not gonna be an issue and told us that we can return the item if not satisfied. We decided to keep the bag and not return it because of Cristina. She knows how to provide good customer service. I wish Eric was the one who provided us the initial service instead of that arrogant Josh. We’re planning to go back again in LV store this January but not on this location.

I know that many people say that the security seems a bit invasive or overdone. However unfortunately their security and service representatives have to deal with much much more than just your average every day shopper or big spender. In San Francisco theft from retail stores is RAMPANT and overwhelming to the stores employees. Literally stores have had to shut down due to the amount of theft from their stores. With items that are with thousands of dollars Louis Vuitton must protect their merchandise understandably in my opinion. If you can just look past that one issue you will see a staff that is very eager and willing to help you happily trying to make sure you leave the store as a happy customer who wishes to return. I have always enjoyed my visits to Louis Vuitton everyone is very nice and friendly which is a hard task in their industry in San Francisco.

I love this store. So luxurious without being snobby. Best selection outside of Paris! My saleswoman is Rebecca and it is so much fun to shop with her! Even with the additional difficulties of keeping their clients and staff safe, they manage to pamper you and offer great advice. While we are still observing Covid precautions, I highly recommend making an appointment as you may have to wait otherwise.
I’m not satisfied with customer service at all. The person that attended me was not helpful at all. I asked her many time to show me more stuff but she didn’t. I felt like i was being rushed. I wanted to buy more but ended up leaving.

The single best covid-19 safety procedures in San Francisco. They actually provide masks for people who try to come in with vented masks. They gave him a very specific instructions for social distancing and other safety.

This is the best place to buy a wallet. The quality is outstanding. They last forever. Great place to buy a gift for that special person in your life or something nice for yourself. Every guy wants a wallet here and every woman wants a Louis Vuitton handbag. Gift certificates are a good idea here so your special someone can pick out the item that they really want.
I went into the store expecting to buy a phone case. I went up to the display case and was looking, soon later a gentleman approached asking if i needed any help. They only had one phone case in the display and I asked “Are there any other phone case?” The man then looked me up and down and proceeded to say, “Not any that you can afford.” Considering I had just finished shopping at Gucci and other designer stores in the area I could have definitely bought the item. I was completely surprised by the comment. Sadly, I don’t know the gentleman’s name but I know I’ll never shop at that location again.
I come here about maybe once a month on average and so far the customer service has been pretty good.. not too overwhelming kind of laid back just depends on who you get. They do have security or bodyguards standing around the place is two floors female on the bottom the males on the top this is the way they made it not my call. Youre paying a lot of money for these items so they will definitely try to make your time there feel warm and welcomed
Mavis, our sales consultant was great! Personable, witty, and knowledgeable about all of their products. She identified items that were not on the showroom floor for my daughter and a nice newly offered bag for my wife. All in all another successful trip to Louie They held our purchases for the balance of the afternoon so we didnt need to carry them around to the other stores while shopping.
Normally staff is great and very engaged with the customer but went in this weekend and didn’t get that at all. Instead I had an associate who was holding items for a customer who was a “spender” VS a customer who was willing to purchase on the spot (w/debit card which is as good as cash) and wouldn’t sell item because it was on hold. When asked if she could put my items on hold she gave a look, very disappointed in this associate, however Rebecca is amazing! Have had previous experiences with her and she is totally legit. I wish I had her card before I went in to schedule an appointment with her and definitely sure I wouldn’t have the experience that I had. Only give them an extra 2 stars because of Rebecca.

Right before the Pandemic, I went to the LV store to buy a wallet for myself. I was initially going to go to Nordstrom (I should have) but passed this and decided to shop here. I knew which wallet I wanted and was assisted by an advisor.I asked about the product quality and warranty which I was informed these products are made to the highest degree and if there is any issue what so ever, I could come back and they would ensure my satisfaction. She even mentioned that their products come with a lifetime warranty.After a few months of usage, the glue around the edges started to come off and was beginning to show very early signs of “premature wear and tear”. Obviously concerned, I was at ease knowing that the advisor told me that these products are covered under lifetime warranty. Obviously knowing the stores are closed, I reached out to corporate and informed them that after 7 months of owning my product, the wallet was breaking already and I needed assistance.Their response time was very very delayed and the response was even worse. They offered to fix the product for a FEE! I couldnt believe it. They sold me a product that is actually defective and they wanted me to pay to fix it. I quickly wrote back and expressed my concern which took another few weeks for a response. The advisor mentioned that while they have warranty for their watches, they have aftersales service for their other products. She invited me as well to visit a store for assistance. Not sure if shes aware of the situation around the world but were in a pandemic!I wrote back expressing my outrage and the false representation the advisor stated about the warranty and the premature wear and tear. If all else fails, ill put this aside and visit when things open.For everyone reading this, if you want good service and lies, go here! If you want excellent service and the backing of a reliable company, go to Nordstrom. I regret this purchase and will update when I get a response. Otherwise, never supporting LV again. Absolute waste of moneyUPDATE.After calling San Jose LV and complaining, the manager from SF store called and credited it back to me. Thanks for their help. I still wont shop at LV again

Customer service person (short male) stationed by door was extremely rude, arrived Sunday afternoon between 5:30 - 6pm on October 20, 2019. I have spent a good deal of money in this store and normally have had good experience with staff, today’s experience was very unpleasant. I would hope that an upper end store such as LV would hire more friendly and customer service oriented staff to greet customers.

I purchased a purse in the Hollywood store, and at the time of purchase had some questions regarding whether or not it would be easily accessible because of the zipper top. The sales associate assured me that if I was unhappy, I could return it to the store. I indicated that I lived in Northern California and she informed me it would be fine to return it to San Francisco. After about two hours of use, I realized I just did not like the style. By now I had no time to return to the Hollywood store so I hand carried a purse box and all the way home to Northern California, and the next day went to the San Francisco store. The manager whom, the best I could say was a snooty ass, took my purse and promptly went into the back room, out of my sight, and was gone for a good 5 to 10 minutes, Upon his return, he had the nerve to come over and try to show me two spots on that purse that he said had marks. I could not see either one, I dont know if he put them on there himself, they couldve been on there when I purchased the bag, but I sure as heck did not believe that I did it if I could even find them. He refused to refund the bag. I was so mad, my first thought was to make a scene, but then I realized there was absolutely nothing I could do. Other than realized that I have been royally screwed by some pretentious little prick at the San Francisco store. I would never walk in there again, they could be giving Louis Vuitton away, and I would never walk in that store. I ended up giving my daughter a $2300 purse. And I have never bought another Louis Vuitton.
Service was so so. My husband and I went in to obviously purchase a new bag. Took awhile for somebody to help us. When we did get help from the Asian girl she was very nice and showed us alot of other options and sizes. While waiting for her to box up the purse other people standing around were offered water but not us and we actually bought something unlike alot of other people there. Another group of women were also offered champagne while waiting for there purchase to boxed but again not us. When you spend a few thousand dollars on a bag youd think theyd offer that to all customers purchasing and not pick and choose who they offer it to. I wont be returning to this store. Much better experience in Vegas.

I was greeted the moment I walked in and was escorted by a lovely lady when I was done! They were willing to lay out a bunch of mens wallet for me to choose and feel which one best suits my need. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who is interested in purchasing a LV product!

Wonderful items but the store lacks in service and packaging. Missing shoe bags, and lack of support for servicing their items are a couple of things I encountered at this LV store but not in others. Curious to know if others had a similar experience.
Big store with tons of selection from woman’s handbags to men’s accessories and luggage. Staff is somewhat non helpful and can be downright rude at times. That’s why I usually stick with Gucci as they know how to accommodate their customers.1 star for always having different types of men’s wallets in stock.

Went in with a friend to smell the new fragrance collection and we were greeted by Gary Walker-Roberts. This man knows his product knowledge and the way he speaks with you about the scents is so interactive. The store is beautiful overall and the staff is friendly. Cant wait to treat myself to Matiere Noire very, VERY soon.
Personally, I dont feel that Louis Vuitton is worth its weight in gold. Despite its touted reputation in fashion, the quality and design do not justify the price to me. I will say, the service I get from Marielle is impeccable when I do go in, and she makes me want to buy something every once and a while.

I bought an Epi Neverfull bag and the quality of the bag was poor. It ruined one of my favorite coat, so I brought it with the bag to the nearest store in SF as I was advised. THE STORE DIRECTOR looked at my coat and asked me if I have the receipt of my coat. He also explained that he is asking because I might bring a random coat from the streets. I was always pleased with the customer service of LV, but clearly not with this store.
Bought the most beautiful bag here. Service can be a bit oppressive but the designs are to die for... Best to know what you are looking for before you visit.

For a premium brand the experience did not match. Couldn’t find the bag I was looking for that they said they had on the phone. Went in and basically just ordered it on the website for me. Took forever.

Purchased an item in this store to be delivered to my home. Was told I would receive an email with tracking notification. Never received an email and when I called they blamed the seasonal people for losing my item which they believe had been shipped wtih someone elses order. They had no idea where it was and kept saying they would call me back. I had to call 5 times before I finally got to speak to my salesperson. She told me her manager would not offer any discount or credit for the inconvenience. I expect a higher level of service from L.V. and Im disappointed in how the situation was handled by the store. Will not be back or recommend.

WORST customer service, avoid this particular store at all cost!!My wife bought a bag in London, which had minor imperfections. She wanted to exchange the bag if she could find one in better condition. When we visited the store in Valley Fair, the SA told us that LV Union Square was the only store in Bay Area that still had 2 pcs of the bag available in stock, so we drove all the way from San Jose to see if the ones they had was in better condition. However, the bag that my wife bought in London was actually in better condition, so we ended up not exchanging it. Then, HERE IS WHERE THE PROBLEM CAME: My wife asked the SA if she could help her put the bag in a hard box because she couldnt take the one provided in London (its kinda huge for our luggage). She asked a hard box because we were planning to stroll around Union Square and she didnt want the bag to be damaged. The SA told my wife that they usually dont provide a box for a bag bought overseas, but said she would ask another SA if they could. When she came back, she said something like this This is the last time we could provide a box! Next time it would be your own risk if youre not taking the box with you!! Meanwhile, she boxed the bag IN FRONT OF MY WIFE, IN A VERY RUDE MANNER, AND SHE DIDNT PROVIDE A PAPER BAG! We left the store in a total disappointment. I mean, the SA couldve refused my wifes request politely, she didnt have to be rude. We went to many LV stores around the world, but this is the first time we were treated very poorly, as if we were asking for a free food! Never again would we visit this store again!For a store selling luxury items at such high price, LV should be able to hire people with good manners, not people with cheap manners like this SA.

Went in about a month ago to buy my first piece of Louis Vuitton: A 6-key wallet in Damier Graphite. The two SAs that helped me were both very kind and awesome people. I got my wallet heat stamped within the time I visited and I also looked at a couple of bags in the Damier Graphite color, including the Keepall 45 and the Neo Greenwich. I didnt feel any kind of negative energy from the employees that I was around, so I was very pleased, considering I had prepared myself to deal with snooty people.Im incredibly happy with my wallet and would love to save up for one of the bags I looked at. Ill be back :)
