My son (age 2) looves seeing kites at the park, and was really happy to pick 2 out. we got a rainbow one with a tail and an airplane one, plus a nice reel. the lady threw in a mini red kite for free!

Everytime I am at this store they have treated me with respect and so much kindness over the years. I have bought a few kites here and many other novelty typ things, supper happy w/ service, thank you Chinatown kite shop! You are appreciated.

Definitely quite a few kites in there. Mostly ones you would find anywhere else in the world though (including Amazon). They do have more crafty ones: paper and wood. Those go for about 25 dollars.

I love kites and this was a perfect store to buy a gift for my son while my wife and I were travelling. But what made the experience was how welcoming and friendly the older gentleman who runs the store. Yes, he recommended a kite but we stood there and talked with him about 10 minutes about all sorts of things. Great store!

Really nice store to browse around and see all the different kites. If you’re looking for a specific high performance kite, you probably won’t find it here. Otherwise this store will satisfy all your regular wind ornament, kite and accessory needs. This colorful store has been here for as long as I’be been here which is quite a while.

To bad they were about to close up the shop when I got there. I could have spend some time looking at all those colorful delights of wind operated toys.They had of course the usual mass market kites but also handmade and unique flyers.I wish the lady working there had given us an advanced notice she was closing the store for the day.

These guys are legit and authentic. The older guy who runs the kite shop genuinely loves kites and will help you pick one out. Its true that the kites here are not going to satisfy the most hardcore xtreme kite flyers, but youll find something here for kids to adults and beginners to intermediate without a problem. Plus, youll be supporting a long standing local business.

Lots of kites from a few dollars to $75. Definitely a good place to get a quality kite.Staff not very helpful though, seemed more interested in talking to each other.

Nice little shop with a lot of variety of kites.Getting to the shop might be a little of walk given the fact that it is in the heart of china town. But I think it is worth it.They offer both traditional designs and cater to the mangaa and disney fans.The designs are sturdy, but if you are looking for something for a use and throw weekend, they have some inexpensive ones for that purpose too.The length of flying string for the kite is about 100 ft, but you can always attach longer additional strings.They accept major credit cards.

Good selection of kites including some traditionally made kites. Very friendly proprietors, sold me the last wood dragon on display.
