This is the best place to get vegan icecream I drove 40 min just to get my icecream because Ive never had such good quality vegan ice cream before this is my second time having it here and I will definitely be making the drive to have it again even tho the line is long and they do need to have 1 more person helping in the truck it was worth it all.
The best soft serve ice cream you’ll ever have. I don’t even like soft serve but theirs is something special. Agree with others though that it’s always a 20+ minute wait to get through the line.
Good soft serve, fine ice cream. A little pricey, and frankly Hometown Creamery up the road is way better. But, if you’re walking by and it catches your eye, it makes for a really nice midday stop.Their floats, however, are exceptional. Unfortunately I haven’t been 10 years old for quite some time now, so I can no longer indulge.
I had a coffee ice cream yesterday from their truck and when I got home I got severe cramps and bloody diarrhea. I don’t recommend their ice creams specially in the Covid time. The guy used the same gloves touching the ice creams and money from everyone. Not healthy!
The ice cream was great but the line went through very slowly. I hope they can find a way to get it through more quickly.
Whilst in San Francisco we came across this Ice-Cream van parked up in the San Francisco Botanical Gardens. We saw a big queue so decided to get an ice cream. We went for the chocolate dipped with salt and it was the best ice cream I’ve ever had!It was a pricey ice-cream but was totally worth it.If you see this van make sure you stop and get an ice cream.Enjoy.
Line is TOO slow! 30 min wait for ice cream.
Go for a classic ! Vanilla ice cream in sugar waffle cone! Nothing else its perfect (and Im difficult on vanilla ice cream) !Its sooooo good!Be aware that they only accept cash! By th way guy you should start accepting car payments, Im so disappointed when I see the truck and dont have cash !
Talk about quality, but pricey ice cream! Its getting harder and harder these days to find good soft serve ice cream, (I guess you could consider that sentence a pun, I didnt intend to make it one though...) luckily, Twirl and Dip exists! After a good three to four hours of walking around the California Academy of Sciences, this is exactly what I needed. I got a cup of chocolate with chocolate sprinkles and was not disappointed. The lines can sometimes get long, but dont worry, its worth the wait!
Who doesn’t love soft serve?!?!?! It would be impossible to give a bad review. The location is insane - in the heart of the City, surrounded by amazing landmarks. The ice cream is top notch and did not disappoint. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 is because it was crazy expensive. I wouldn’t say it’s “worth the money” but at the same time we just couldn’t resist and we’re very happy to have indulged. We’ll likely do it again soon.
After 4 years of living in SF this is my favorite ice cream. on a nice day I bike over and enjoy the sunshine. havent messed around with the fancy stuff. simple vanilla ice cream chocolate dipped sea salt in a cone is what my heart desires. Kinda pricey at $7 so I keep it as a treat.
Yes. Yes. Yes. A nice walk in the park and BAM: damn good soft serve. The toffee crunch sundae is VERY worth the $8. The toffee was fresh and tasty and crunchy. The butterscotch sauce tasted homemade and delicious. The soft serve itself (made with Strauss Milk?) was unbelievably delicious, and would have been enough on its own...but if youre like me: PILE IT ON and get the sundae! $4 for a cone, not horrible. Totally worth it. Get it. Go. Now.
Some of the best softseve ice cream you will have in your life is right here in golden gate park where you can get a scoop of eather soft serve or Mitchells ice cream.
I cant even tell you how happy I was to see a soft serve ice-cream truck at the end of a long day of lacrosse and playing in the park with friends. Also, I returned (no shame) and drove around for 30 minutes just to get another serving of Twirl & Dip a few weeks later. Not to mention: DARK CHOCOLATE WITH SEA SALT dipped vanilla bean soft-serve. It was just the most amazing thing I had ever tasted.Thank you, Twirl and Dip. The only bummer is they only take cash, which I didnt have, so had to borrow money from a friend.
The new owner is amazing! A great guy! I highly recommend coming here.
Organic soft serve for the people! Im so glad they came back after shutting down for a few months. Congrats to the new owner, who I think is also the guy who serves the ice cream.
DONT MISS THIS WHEN IN SF! organic soft serve ice cream, dipped in local dark chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt. yes, im serious. this is probably one of my favorite treats to get in the city. you can usually find the truck in golden gate park!
Why is this truck closed. We want ice creams.lol
I normally dont eat ice cream but I heard great things about this place. I got the vanilla bean with chocolate twirl. It was really tasty and was only 4$. The vanilla bean was my favorite.
Amazing ice cream! When ever I make it to San Francisco I find out where the truck is! Best Soft Serve EVER!
Most amazing ice cream ever!!
Great number of options, really tasty ice cream, and really friendly staff!
Wonderful on a hot day, the only draw back is their inconsistent hours.
Way too expensive for soft serve might as well go to coldstone
Best soft serve.
Delicious and you cant beat the location
That sea salt sprinkle on the dip is hot fire
