One of the best creameries around d the Bay Area. I’ve been trying to think the right words to describe how perfect the ice cream is here but I just cannot find the words. It is just perfect. Love all the flavors!!! Salted caramel, the hazelnut with oat milk are delicious and the also the sorbets (I’m not a sorbet fan at all, this place is my only exception so far. Peach sorbet was amaziiing!!!).

Awesome ice cream, strawberry sorbet is my favorite so far! 🍓🍧 I wish they vary the amount of sugar in their recipes so people who prefer less sweet cream have more choice. For my taste it is a little bit too sweet.

This gelato is to die for. Their sorbetto is so fresh and flavorful, and they make it from scratch each day. I had a combo of passion fruit, peach, and raspberry and all three were heavenly. Their flavors rotate daily so I will definitely be coming back!

This is the real deal! I lived in Italy for 2 years so Im pretty picky about gelato, and this is some of the best Ive had. Even their sorbetti (no dairy) flavors are impossibly creamy, and even though the colors may seem faded, the flavors are intense. My favorite on this trip was the blackberry but Ill be back for more...

Never thought I would love banana walnut this much. Best gelato I’ve had in a long time! I wish I could rewind and experience the gelato I just ate again and again. Soooo good!

A friendly gelato shop, simple in presentation but sophisticated in taste. Tonight i had coffee cardamom and my friend had lavender and both had big flavors in creamy single servings. Cups to eat right away or packed containers to take home, its a special treat either way.

Love it! We stopped by after dinner in Japantown. Its a block or two off the Main Street so my friend thought that I was going the wrong way. Its on the quieter side of the block. It has a decent size with a table and a couple bar stool to the right.They sell gelatos and sorbets, some of which are vegan. I tried the honey lavender but ended up getting the coconut while my friend got the Pistachio. It is exceptionally rich and sweet and I was surprised that I was able to finish it. The trick is to combine it with chocolate! While both are rich and creamy, the flavors really complement each other.The service people are really nice and friendly. The place is clean too. They have cute stools with handles on them. I think its $5 for a small, $6 for a medium, and they also sell larger sizes too.

I love this place. The flavors change everyday, which keeps me coming back. They use seasonal fruit, so if you see a flavor you like grab it while you can. I am not a big ice cream eater, yet I crave this stuff. They also have pie and a changing topping of the day. This gelato is more worth the calories.

Very nice people and service, best deal to get the flight. All the flavors tasted great. I loved they had a lot of fruit like sorbet inspired ones but were still creamy and not too sweet. My favorite was the fig ricotta!

Had the pleasure of trying the peach flavor while in season and it was absolutely amazing. The pistachio, which they are known for, is a must eat also. Taking a stroll down Fillmore and stumbling on this spot made it even better than it already was! Definitely a new favorite.

Awesome little small batch gelato shop. Great flavors and clearly a lot of effort goes into making these taste unique. I had a baby banana custard scoop which was probably the most intense banana tasting ice cream Ive had.

Delicious gelato!! The owners are very nice, they source their milk locally and produce gelato in small batches so that they can always serve it fresh. Their (vegan) sorbetto are remarkable!

My wife and I visited this shop while in town (we live on Oklahoma) and we havent been able to find anything in our home town that can compare . We had the mango gelato and it was hands down the best . The person who helped us was helpful and patient as we didnt know which kind to get.

I recommend trying the Passion fruit sorbetto! I liked that they had so many unique flavors to try from (raisin rum, watermelon sorbetto, and bourbon cream). The ice cream tasted very homemade and the owners were very friendly.

Maybe its because I was drunk after over 2 hours of karaoke with friends in Japantown, but I thought Philmore Creamery was some of the best ice cream Ive had in SF!Its small and family-owned, very homey and welcoming and warm. Be sure to ask to sample different flavors before you order!My friend and I both got two flavors in a cup each: she had coffee cardamom and vanilla, while I enjoyed the stracciatella and salted caramel. Each had strong flavor and the texture was the perfect balance of creamy and icy.Their ice cream is made daily and flavors vary depending on when you visit! I need to be back to try their gelato or their other ice cream flavors that werent there when I first went.

Philmore Creamery is cute and has a comfortable atmosphere. They have 3 vegan sorbetto and 9 gelato flavors. I tried the dark chocolate sorbetto, which the server said was just water, sugar, and dark chocolate. It was extremely rich and creamy, I would have never known there was no milk-base. It’s pretty similar to a gelato and not very similar to a sorbet. I got a small cup and it’s actually difficult to finish because it’s so rich. I also like that the cups they serve their gelato/sorbetto in are compostable and the spoons are recyclable, and I especially like that they clearly label that on their bins so people know where to put them. I’ll definitely come back.

This is hands down the best ice cream Ive had pretty much anywhere. The flavors are stong and well balanced. They rotate based on what theyve made that day.The texture of the gelato and the sobretto is incredibly smooth. The sobretto is nearly indistinguishable from the gelato... its just that good.The selection is small but each one is great. At any given time there are no more than ten options. This place is HIGHLY recommended..
