Horrible place! The ice cream is so melty by the time you get it in your own hands. Absolutely nothing even close to an authentic Italian gelato.

Not Italian. It is melted, cant stay in the cone, all water. Dont go.It started to drip immediately, Italian gelato is consisted and smooth.I think they have the fridge too warm.

Best Gelato in North Beach!!! I love the chocolate covered strawberry best! Plus the service is fantastic, very glad they are open again — I will be back often!

I love the ice cream here. Best of all local gelato places I’ve been to.However, they don’t always follow the operating hours posted. It would say it’s open but I arrive and it’s closed hours early than stated or they don’t show up for an hour after. Yes I’ve waited once.

It’s smooth italian gelato, but I was disappointed with the quality - especially the hazelnut as it was a little watery. 4.75 for a small cup is pricey too

We went into this place after dinner nearby at 9:45pm only to be greeted by a cold and rude girl whose only motive at that point was to close shop. She appeared visibly annoyed at us and said “we are closing in 2 minutes. What would you like?” And then added (noticing that two of the older people in our group started sitting) “I see what’s going on here”. Again, how long does it take to eat a small cup of gelato and get out of your stupid place by your posted official closing time of 10pm ? Did I mention this happened on a Saturday ?

A place you have to go to. They have a big selection of some very rare flavors. They also have like 8 sorbet options which is almost unheard of!I got pomegranate and coconut sorbet which was delicious. I seriously recommend going.

I have this EVERY TIME I come to San Francisco and it never disappoints. It is the best. The flavors are wonderful and the variety of flavors is good. You cant go wrong here.

Been coming here for at least 20 years. Great selections, the flavors are made in house and always changing. My favorite is definitely the chocolate peanut butter when they have it. Its cash only just as a heads up.

Creamy and delicious gelato! Its just a small shop close to the Washington Square, but so good! The gentleman who helped us was very polite and gave us some indication of which one were the best.

Yummy cherry burgundy gelato. Everyone in our group enjoyed their classic selection. Reasonable sized serve and the person serving was friendly and helpful.

Great gelato. Not highly experienced with this type of desert. Although the flavors were amazing. Raspberry and dark chocolate, we combined them and it was great. Ok service, the guy was talkative once we chatted with him. Expensive, but worth the taste.

I love Gelato and when I see a shop I have to stop and get some. I really love pistachio flavor, they do it right here.
